I wanna buy LCD protection film.

Do you have IPAD LCD protection film here?
I'll buy IPAD, that's why I wanna buy one with LCD protection film.
If you don't have, can I buy LCD protection film in any apple store? (ex. albany westfiled)
and I'd like to stick film my IPAD. can I get film stick service?
sorry. I'm poor at english speaking. I'm sure you understanded.

Apple doesn't sell screen protectors. Just search your local electronics retailer or amazon to find a screen protector that looks good to you.

  • I wanna buy a 13" MacBook Pro, but I'm not sure..?

Reasons in converting from PC to Mac:
-- Well, for one..I've always wanted a Mac, any Apple product really, but they're so expensive.
-- I love the customer support. You get One-on-One help with a MacGenius at any Apple Store (which are basically in every city) instead of doing the push-button waiting for an "agent" to help me on the phone.
-- The sleek designs are very sexy lol. and with almost every Mac Desktop or laptop, you have a built-in web cam.
-- Updates in software are always available and are so easy to update.
-- Apple Technology makes me feel so "technical" lol with all the high-end software and stuff.
-- I want the MacBook to be my laptop for life. Using it daily.
-- Sometimes, I wanna make some video montages with my HD Cam.
-- Have it be a place to store my digital photos.
-- I'm a huge music person. i need room for my 2,000+ songs on iTunes.
but I don't wanna seem like I'm only buying the MacBook Pro just for it's looks. I don't even know how to choose one. For example, what's the diff between 2.23 and 2.56GHz? What kind is a "1066MHz frontside bus. 3MB shared L2 cache" processor? What does it mean to have "NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory" for graphics? Is a "1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM" good? Should I upgrade to the 8GB memory instead of the retail 2GB or 4GB?

I will state upfront I am a current Windows user and while I'm interested in purchasing a Mac - I'm struggling with justifying the added cost. I stumbled on this thread hoping to get more clarity and information about what I'm missing by staying with Windows.
I see JE13's post and I can't help but ask a few questions - after reading this post, perhaps a Mac just isn't geared for me?
    JE13 wrote:
First, they last longer than most other laptops. I still see "Clamshell" Macs in use which are eleven years old! If you buy a Mac Laptop, you can expect to use it for a good 4-5 years before you might feel the need to get another. So cut the cost in half because you're saving having to buy a new laptop in two years. Then consider that they retain their resale value. You can actually sell the old Pro and get some money for it toward a new one. So, you save money that way.
I have a 6 year old Windows desktop that works fine so I'm not forced into buying a new one. I'm just interested in some of the new technology (HDMI, webcam, bluetooth, SATA, etc).
This reasoning around why a Mac costs me less doesn't resonate with me.
    JE13 wrote:
Next, you won't have to buy virus protection. So you save money that way, and you won't have to buy a lot of software that you often have to buy with PCs because Mac comes with almost all the software you need bundled in. That includes photo, video and music software. You can also run the PC programs you have on the Mac if you wish. So you have two-in-one computers. So, again, you've saved money. As you can see, if you were to add all these things together, you might well find that the Mac was a much better deal than even dirt cheap laptops, because dirt cheap laptops are no-frills laptops--they seem cheap, but after you've bought all the stuff you need for them, you've spent almost as much as you might have on a fully equipped Apple. And you get even more with the Apple then just the extras you'd have to buy if you went cheap.
If I was to buy a Windows laptop today, I leverage free A/V software (AVG) and it comes with MS Office suite. If I was to purchase a Mac, is there additional costs associated with purchasing MS Office?
This reasoning around why a Mac costs me less doesn't resonate with me (kinda sounds like it will cost more?).
    JE13 wrote:
As you said, you've got great customer support and 1 year warranty (unless you buy Apple care which gives you 3 years, and constant phone support). Again, you save money because problems will get fixed without incurring repair costs (obviously, if you spill coffee on the machine, all bets are off). There's also an element here of you-get-what-you-pay-for, which means that you'll get good quality screen, aluminum body, built-in camera, illuminated keyboard, sound system, long-life battery, even the plug which pops out if you pull it so you don't bring the computer crashing to the floor. So while the computer may be pricy, you are getting your money's worth.
Don't Windows laptops comes with a 1-year warranty, too? Granted, I can pay for extended support just like I can with a Mac, too.
Aside from the plug that pops out if you pull it and the aluminum body, the other specifications come with a Windows laptop, too.
This reasoning around why a Mac costs me less doesn't resonate with me.
    JE13 wrote:
And yes, the Macbook is very good for using daily. I recently had to remind a new Macbook user that she need never turn off the computer or quit programs. She only need close the lid and go. Open the lid and start up again. This is where you'll save the most money. You'll be more productive, get more done and that, again, saves you money. In short, by and large, Mac Laptops are good investments.
Don't Windows laptops have the same features? My work laptop that runs windows does this and while I can't close the lid on my desktop (haha), I can set it to hibernate and it will come back on with my programs, too.
This reasoning around why a Mac costs me less doesn't resonate with me.
    JE13 wrote:
You don't have to get the most expensive machine, either. 2.23GHz is fine for you, as is 256MB. You will probably want 4-8GB RAM (memory) as that keeps things speedy and allows you to have a lot of programs running. Videos and music do take up room on a laptop and that should inform you as to how many MG of harddrive you might need. Better to have, as recommended, a back-up drive for finished videos. That will keep them from taking up room on the laptop. You may also be able to find refurbished pros and used pros at a discount if you still don't want to pay full price.
The specifications I would be buying will cost me more, but be less then that of what I would see on a Windows machine.
This reasoning around why a Mac costs me less doesn't resonate with me.
Does this help you with your decision?
Not really. Aside from being aesthetically pleasing, I'm still not certain how to justify buying a MacBook Pro which will cost me nearly double the amount of money to do the same thinks a Windows laptop can do.
What am I missing? The Mac laptops are very nice, but I can't logically conclude I should buy one since I can't grasp what I'm getting for the extra money.

  • Protective film cover.

Has anyone just left the protective film cover that came with the Touch on it?
What would be the disadvantage, if any, with doing this? Thanks!

Today I exchanged my Touch at Best Buy due to a damaged miniport, but there was someone else there exchanging his iPhone ... we were standing at the stations side by side and these two different employees were having a really good laugh because my Touch was technically out of it's 30-day return policy, but they did a straight exchange for a new one because the computer said it was still in the 30-day return ... though I bought it on Feb. 28th .
The iPhone guy bought his two weeks ago.
Mine was immaculate, with only a few superficial scratches on the edges of the stainless steel sides, and not a single imperfection on the face.
His had some pretty nasty scratches on the face and the back had DENTS and scratches.
I paid for the service plan.
He didn't. He also discovered Best Buy's 30-day return policy actually DOES have exceptions for SEVERE wear & tear.
Why spend $400+ on a phone and then treat it like a throw-away phone you bought at Radio Shack?

  • Trying to buy a protective case for MacBook Pro MD314B/A 13.3"

    Hi
It's my first message on here so hope someone can help me.  I've been an Apple user for three years now and absolutely love all of their products and currently have a MacBook Air, iPad 2 and iPhone 5.
I am trying to buy a protective cover/case for a friends son who is getting a MacBook Pro MD314B/A for his birthday but I'm having a lot of trouble trying to find one for that particular model, in all my searches (pretty exhaustive so far) all I seem to find are ones for the model A1278 none seem to be coming up for the MD314B/A model that I am wanting.
I only have that to go by as that is all I have been given by his mum who's pretty computer and Apple savvy so I presume it's the correct information, I just can't understand why I can't find one as I it was a doddle when I found a cover for my MacBook Air.
I know it is the 2011 model of MacBook Pro and really don't want to guess and order a wrong cover and disappoint someone on their birthday.
I hope someone can throw some light on how to make sure I find the right one, obviously I can't check on the MacBook itself as it is all boxed up ready for the big day.
    Many thanks to you all

Then you want to post in the respective forums, this one is devoted to Mac Pro (tower) not notebooks.

  • I wanna buy a movie but every time I try and reedem my code it says, card has not been properly activated

I wanna buy I movie but ever time I try and reedem my 15$ iTunes card it keeps on saying " card is not activated properly"

Like all gift cards, iTunes Gift Cards have to be activated by the retailer at the store where the card was purchased and that message makes it sound like that did not take happen. So perhaps that is the issue and you might have to take the card and the receipt back to the store and have it activated.
If the card was truly a gift and you don't have the receipt, then look here for help,

  • QR code on the blue pull tab of the back panel protection film on new devices

Has anyone tried to scan the tiny QR code on the blue pull tab of the back panel protection film?
I tried but it's too tiny for the camera to focus on it.
Does anybody know what it is?

You don't need to upgrade your software.  But if you're struggling with Spry, IMO you should cut your losses and switch to something better for the longrun.
If you have a budget to work with, I highly recommend Project Seven's Pop-Menu Magic 3.  It's easy to use in DW CS4, 5, 6 or CC.  More importantly, it's bullet proof and works in all devices.
Pop-Menu  Magic3 by PVII (commercial DW extension)

If you don't have a budget to work with, you can roll your own menus with jQuery plugins.  A bit more effort on your part, but they perform better than Spry.

Hi, I am working with CS6 Design Standard for Mac, I bought from Adobe a DVD with the Software. I installed it already on my mac book. Soon I wanna buy a second computer for my work. When I bought the software I was told that it is possible to install the software on a second computer. But I also read lately that I will only be allowed to work with one computer. I want to work on both of my computers without de/installing and de/activating the software every time. Is this possible? Thank you!!

You should be able to install the products on two computers as long as they are not running at same. Also the platform should be MAC.

There are no robots here. Everyone here is a "real person", a user just like you. How about telling us what the problem is that you are experiencing when you try to buy a song? If you mean that you have forgotten your security questions, go to:
    https://appleid.apple.com/
Click "Manage My Account", sign in, and go to the Password and Security section. If you've forgotten your answers, there should be a link just under the security questions fields where you can have a reset email sent to your Rescue email address. If the link for the email doesn't appear, as can happen if you didn't set a rescue email address or (apparently) have a .Mac email address, see the user tip created by Kappy, another user here, on how to proceed:

  • Best case and protective film for iPod Touch.

I had to good sense to get a protective plastic film and case for my nano when i got it two years ago. Its still more or less immaculate so i am thinking i will get the same for the iPod touch.
Can anybody recommend a good protective case ?
If i apply a thin plastic protective film to the surface of my Touch, will it interfere with the touch screen functionality ?
If anybody can recommend a good protective film i would appreciate it.

  • Hello, do you know where i can buy a protection glass for my IPhone 5 at Myconos in Greece?

Hello, do you know where i can buy a protection glass for my IPhone 5 at Myconos in Greece?

If you mean the glass ,no .Apple does not sell spares
In Greece it seems your carrier handles out of warranty claims ( User damage is not covered by the warranty )
If you purchased your iphone in Greece then it is covered for service in any EU country .
If you are travelling to a EU country which has Apple retail stores they would swap out for a price of Euros 229 (in Italy for instance )
The above only applies if your iPhone came from Greece or the EU

I can't remember my security question's answers and I can't change them, and I wanna buy something from the store, it requires those answers, what can I do??

If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address set up then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Questions' or 'iTunes Store account security' (it appears to vary by country) and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within about 24 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox).
Or you could see if the second half of Kappy's reply in this thread helps : https://discussions.apple.com/message/20357006#20357006

  • HELP WANTED: I wanna buy an iPad or Android Tablet, but IDK which one to buy...

So I am expecting my tax refund in a week or 2 & I wanna buy an Android Tablet, but I am kinda computer/tablet stupid & I have no clue which one to pick...  Specific things I want in an Android Tablet include the following:  Android 2.3 or newer, touch screen, Micro SD card slot & good battery life are all my must haves!!!  Additionally, if possible, I would prefer a White Android Tablet over a Black Android Tablet!!!  I am a T-Mobile employee, I work @ their customer service center/inbound call center in Portland, Oregon.  My expertise is cell phone activations, new customer activations/sales/upgrades, tech support & billing.  I am very unknowledgeable when it comes to the iPad & Android Tablets.  If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated!!!  So far I've narrowed down my tablet selection to the Sony Tablet S, Asus Transformer Prime, iPad 2 & Asus Slider...  Suggestions???  A little insight help please!!!  Thanks so much:-)

Keyboard is not hugely important, however it would be nice, I can type very well on a tablet, so keyboard is not a must...  Micro SD card & Android 2.3 or higher is an absolutle must!!!  Cameras of at least 5MP would be nice as well.  I've done a little research since I posted this & iPad 2 is officially off my list.  Asus Slider, Sony Tablet S & Asus Transformer Prime are what I'm looking at as of now.  As far as screen goes, I want a larger screen if possible.  Flash websites I also want access to.  When it comes to sound, I listen to alot of music, I am in my 20's so I'm kinda a partier & I like loud music, so something with a high level of audio & vidoe sound would be great!!!  I personally own an Android cell phone, the HTC Sensation with T-Mobile, I have had Android cell phones since the very first day the HTC G1 phone came out, the HTC G1 was the very first Android phone ever put out by any cell phone carrier.  I absolutely do love Android so very much!!!  Based off of all of this, what do you recommend or suggest???
