Firefox doesn't store the bookmarks as separate files in a folder, but uses a sqlite database file with the name places.sqlite.
You will have to export those favorites in IE to an HTML file and import that file in Firefox.
Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import HTML : "From File"

It is semantics, but most of us from the Americas consider we are Americans by virtue of the continents of our birth, as are folks from the other continents residents of that continent*. The word for folks from the US in Spanish is estadounidense, United Statesonians. In my mind I am soon to be Statesonian.
*Aside from the fact that there is but one country on the continent of Australia and that the majority of Antaricans are penguins!

You seem to be new to this software, so I highly recommend that you take some time to learn it using some great tutorials available online - it will pay off to invest the time, if you follow through, for example the great (and free) introductory tutorial at izzyvideo.com.
This is an amazing piece of software, and you'll have a lot to learn, but it's well worth it.

No sweat. Sync both to the same computer's iTunes. You'll have to configure the sync characteristics separately. The iTunes keeps track of which is which by S/N. You might wish to rename one or both so that you can keep track.

That's not how iMessage was designed to work. It works with your contacts. You start typing a phone number or email address and you'll se a list of hint from auto-complete. After you select a suggestion, start typing another address. If the addresses you want are not in your contacts, you'll need to enter each of them manually.

Here are two quick ways to copy a contact's email address so that you can paste it into an email or a field in another application.
Open the Contacts application, select the contact, and then click Edit. This will allow you to copy any information you need from your address book.

Select "Copy Address" from the drop down menu beside the sender's name in an email you have received or sent.
See the dropdown arrow beside the name John Appleseed in the image below. Click on the drop down arrow in one of your email messages to see the "Copy Address" option.

Hi there, to authorize a computer, you open up itunes, and at the very very top lefthand corner, there will be a little window. Click on that, and it will present you with a list of options. From there, you go to the third option down, which says "Itunes Store," hover over it with your mouse, and it will give you another set of options. From there, you can see the two options, "Authorize" an "Deauthorize computer. Just click on "Authorize," enter in your apple ID and password, and your computer will be authorized! You may be able to re download iTunes purchases for free directly on the new iPad.
