Please don't forget this mobile the N93i! I love this phone! I hope you can update a new firmware, Please. I want to have the same applications than the N95 for the foto camera and the video recorder, when somewhere it's a little dark the quality is bad sorry for my poor english. Thank you.

You don´t seem to know that the people that post on this board don´t write FW for phones. We just provide user/user or costumer/costumer help.
If you want to adress Nokia, try using the Contact button on the website itself.

It would be up to Toshiba to release an official firmware update for this drive and at the moment they do not have one.
You could of course look at 3rd party sites such as cdfreaks.com.

Is Nokia releasing a new firmware for the E72?

After the bugs introduced with the latest firmware (no company search, SMS and calls recepction,...), does anybody know if Nokia has plans to fix them in a new firmware release?

New Firmware for the mic

I installed the new firmware into my micro, and now when i go into media source it doesnt come up. i cannot see my micro in it, I had to use windows explorer drag and drop. is there any way for me to get my mediasource to recognize my micro? thanks in advance to whomever can help me.

If you installed the MTP software (v2) then Mediasource will not work with the Zen Micro. You can download updated versions of Zen Media Center for the configuration and Outlook syncing options. For transferring, Windows Media Player 0 will now replace Mediasouce.

i think it's hard time nokia shud release something good for thr N97 as they are already losing ppl's interests in thr devices as well as market is no more going to be one sided like before for nokia ..... i have a N97 and am waiting for the V30 to be out ,,but not just anothr bug fix FW ,, i as a user of the phone really really expect something great with this FW,,something that the hardware on 97 can still support i guess....

New versions are not announced before they're made available.
V21.0.016 is indeed the latest version for the N95-1 right now.

I have a Linksys EA6400(AC1600) connected to a new telus wireless modem/router and i always get on my galaxy s4 unstable connection!! can someone help me?

No one here would know if there is software coming im afraid. Try going to settings, wifi then hit the menu button and advanced. Then un check the auto switch from wifi to data and back all the way out. That fixed the notification issue on my note3

OPPS!... MY bad.... seems your web located me in Latin America.... Im in Puerto Rico... which is U.S. territory and it looks like this model was not sold in Latin America, so it's not in thier list...LOL.... I whish people got their geographics correct... sorry!

Are they getting any closer to releasing a new firmware for the Zen Tou

I mean so I wouldn't have to use stupid Mediasource to transfer music, and could just plug my Z. T. into any computer and transfer music. It seems to me that some bright consumer could write a program to do this, or is it impossible for this to happen for some reason?

I think its pretty bad that a company that made over $375 million in Q2 and reported sales of over 2 million mp3 players is putting such little investement into providing updates for existing (still on sale) products, mainly the Zen Touch and Zen Extras... They seem to think that only Zen micro users deserve Firmware updates despite the fact that a large number of us have bought and continue to buy other existing creative models! Surely with such high profit and demand they must be able to put more resources into updates for their players (mainly Firmware), or at worst give us a serious time frame as when to expect the updates (if i had known how long i would be waiting i might not have bought my Zen Touch in favour of a differnet player). I have always looked upon Creative as a very trustworthy company that deli'very high quality and high spec products. I never for a moment thought that the updates would be so few and far between! Nokia is aware of the bugs we reported, but as Jimmy said, it takes time to correct them all and to test the firmware so that it does not have the bug again.
Blaming people like this won't bring anyone anywhere.
By the way, if someone have suggestions for the new firmware they can use this topic (not to blame or other, only suggest) and can report bugs here so that we can collect all things in just two topics.

Any Plans To Release NEW Firmware For E4200???

I can't believe that Cisco would release a router that has so many issues/bugs. It somewhat feels that people like myself who purchased this router are BETA TESTERS. It ticks me off that I spent $190 for a router that has yet to live up to the hype and perform up to expectations.
Seriously look at Netgear. They release a new firmware for the WNDR3700 on a WEEKLY basis and they actually LISTEN to their customers. Thus far we've been left in the dark from Cisco regarding the E4200. Their tech support is completely useless/worthless. All they tell you to do is reset the router and reflash with current/out-dated/beta firmware.
Some of the current issues of the E4200 (that needs to be addressed via new firmware):
-blinking white Cisco logo on top of router
-LAN connections not showing up in DHCP Client Table
-Wireless connections showing up as LAN and vice versa
-inconsistent/sluggish wireless speeds
I've already gone through 2 E4200 routers and each have had the EXACT SAME problems. Coincidence? I think not. I've got 2 more weeks left to return my current router. Unless a firmware is released to address these and other issues.....I'm moving on to another brand and I'm officially done with Cisco.

Then move to another brand. Linksys always had other update cycles then Netgear. If you like Netgear so much you should get a Netgear. Of course, other brands have similar issues with their wireless devices and you will find that even Netgear has some issues which they have difficulties to get fixed. Likewise the tech support which always depends on who you get connected to which is a gamble with any telephone support...
And don't forget that it's a consumer device designed to be extremely cheap. There is a reason why you would have to spend a multitude of what you have spent on the E4200 if you were to got the same functionality with Cisco Small Business or Cisco Classic devices which get excellent support and are extremely reliable. But even there, you only get a firmware upgrade every couple of months and they still have the one or other little hicup...

I don't know about the upgrade to ^3, and frankly it might not be possible to port symbian^3 to the ol' n97 .... But i still hope that this new "upcoming" update makes the n97 better......
And i also wish it releases at nokia world 2010, b/c if it does, it will be worth the wait
