Downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I updated my LG G3 this week and now it SUCKS! When I'm connected to WIFI, nothing on Facebook works. The photos and videos won't populate. I have to turn off the WIFI and only use the mobile data. Not to mention, I really hate the way it looks now. Before I updated my phone, I really liked it, now I don't like my phone at all! When will this be fixed? I hope it's soon. I'm thinking of changing providers now.

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I received an iPad for Christmas that was ex-display, however I am unable to restore it to factory settings using the iTunes restore......any suggestions??
If it's a store's demo model then as far as I know only Apple can potentially change it's iOS version to a non-demo version - you've tried Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content And Settings directly on the iPad ?

want to install Indesign on my new computer but am having trouble. First bought CS2 in 2009 and upgraded to 7.5 in 2011. I have the serial numbers for both and was able to use it on my last computer. I don't use Indesign that often but there are some projects that it's good for. Where do I start?

Nowhere on my iPhone 4 can I activate FaceTime... I've tried using contacts, settings, and even when I call someone with an active FaceTime, the FaceTime icon is not lit up. Any suggestions?
There is no facetime icon and never was. Facetime is built into the phone. Go to settings>general>restrictions and make sure facetime is ON. Go to settings>facetime and turn it on there and set it up there. Also read http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4268

My iPhone 4 won't connect to my home wi fi connects to everywhere else and my husbands phone the home computers ect all connect to the wi fi just not my mobile ! Any suggestions ??thanks
I would suggest trying to do what I call a "forced reboot". Hold the home and power buttons down and see if that works. Also try entering in a wifi network: settings->Wifi->Other and enter in all the info and see if that works.

I would like to print a four sided programme, but am having trouble finding out how to organise the sections onto a 17 by 11 paper with the sections in the right order. Any help?
If all you are going to do is print double sided and them make
a single fold reducing the page to 8 1/2 x 11, one side of the
original 17 x 11 page will be page 4 on the left as you hold
the page facing you and page 1 on the right, reverse side
should be printed so top is same as top on the the first side
and will be page 2 to the left and page 3 to the right. Pick
up the double sided document with pages 2 and 3 facing you, fold
left edge to meet right edge; you should now have fold on the left
with page 1 facing up toward you, turn the page as you normally
would and pages 2 & 3 should be in order, and one more turn brings
you to page 4 and the fold should know be on the right. I hope this
explains clearly enough - if not, post back and some one should
join in with a better explanation. -
Don't want new tiff files saved in my catologue if I'm only using the image for a composite.
When editing in Photoshop CS4 from LR3, the new tif will not appear in the catalogue unless I save it in PS. In LR4 it saves a new tiff in my catalogue regardless if I save the edited image in PS or not. I have a cloud library I use often and do not want new files saved in my LR catologue if I'm only using the opened image for compositing. Can anyone help me figure out how to change the workflow to be like LR3?

How far back would you go? One version? Three? Where should the line be drawn? Adobe draws the line at the currently shipping version...it's now CS5 and shortly it will be CS6.
Even if Adobe were to do this, you do realize that trying to put new plug-ins into older software is really tough. For example on the Mac, Photoshop CS5 requires that the plug-in be written in Apple's Cocoa API. Camera Raw 5 required a major update to be able to run in Cocoa...retrofitting Camera Raw 5 to run in a PPC platform (supported by CS3/CS4 but not supported by CS5) would be difficult–a lot of work for zero return. As a result of the engineering challenges of backwards compatibility Adobe has the policy of only updating currently shipping software to current customers. Truth be told, if you don't have the most recent version, you are not a current customer...you are a former customer. Having Adobe spend R&D engineering backwards compatibility to support former customers would take resources away from supporting current customers. As a current customer, I wouldn't like that.
But it's all a moot point because I don't see any evidence that Adobe is going to change this policy for backwards compatibility. In fact, going forward, Adobe is already announced the change to Photoshop upgrade rules allowing only the most recent version to be upgraded to the new version. Because of the reaction that only CS5/5.5 could upgrade to CS6, Adobe blinked and now has given a grace period till the end of 2012 for CS3 & CS4 users to upgrade to CS6.
Again many people don't like this, but as a pro user of Photoshop, I always upgrade anyway so it has no impact on me. Yes, it will bite some people and I can have sympathy, but again, you always have the free DNG Converter to use in the case you need new camera support. And hey, the new cameras come with software to process their raw files, right? -

If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

Cannot select photo events with iPhone anymore with new upgrade - can we only use the cloud now?

I used to be able to select events from iPhoto that I wanted to appear in my phone. I cannot use photo stream for various reasons. The last time I synced my iPhone it would not allow me to select any events at all, but only reverted to the recent photo stream ONLY. Which means that none of my old photos can now be found on my iPhone. I hate this - I want some of my old photos. Why can't I select my old events? Please help!Thank you so much for your answer! Okay, here's the sequence that 'may' help explain; 1st- My son got an Iphone 4 & wanted to buy songs, etc., so I added his phone to my Itunes acct..--he consequently signs on under my email address (my Apple ID) & my PW. No problem then, it had/has listed ex. Mom's Iphone & Son's Iphone (mine is a 4s, don't think that makes a difference- except in telling u that Siri doesn't work properly now either & refers to my son's name now instead of mine!) As far as I can tell, the real problems began with the ICloud settings on our Iphones--meaning the settings on 'where' to back our phone's- ICloud or to the Laptop (both phones back up to the same laptop.) It's so complicated I can hardly explain it, so sorry if I'm bouncing around! I did not mean to or rather it was not an intentional decision to use the same ICloud, however since we share the same comp. and Itunes account, and basically passwords--it somehow happened. I don't know how to undo this mess! Last night I went to ICloud.com & was able to sign on with my son's @me.com user ID & our Itunes PW (aka-Apple ID.) It really didn't do anything except show me Iphone features, ex. Contacts, Ibook, etc.. I did 'not' see a place where I could change any settings, like to possibly change his Apple ID, or pw...that's all I can think of to change? And even with that I'm not sure how to do that...he's 14, a minor--so he has to be under my settings to a degree. Don't mind at all having seperate ID's, but we do share "some" music and app's for example. Is any of this making sense or even partially explaining my problems? Thank you in advance!

AAfter upgrading to IOS 8.1, the activity icon on the status bar will not stop rotating. It's like the webpage never completely downloads. Any suggestions?

You would think that it must have some effect on the battery, but oddly enough, the update to iOS 8 actually helped my battery life, in spite of all of these hinky little issues that are taking place. In my experience, the activity icon is not affecting the battery in a negative way.
Another issue with IOS 8.1 that you may have seen is the loss of icon pictures on home pages. Again it seems to be Safari related, since app icons found in the App Store are not affected, only web based icons you personally put on home pages. I get what I call a test screen similar to what you used to get on old tv sets on every one of my personal icons.
I know exactly what you mean. I got that as well. On a few of them, when I opened the websites using the generic test screen icons and then closed them, they changed back to the way that they should look. For the ones that did not change, I recreated the home screen shortcuts and deleted the generic looking ones - the test screen icons.
And don't get me started on iBooks.
For the very limited use that I make of the iBooks app, i haven't noticed any problems, but I rarely use the app. I don't read books on the iPad other than a few user guides and if they are pdf guides, they reside in more reliable and feature rich pdf apps on my iOS device.
I wish that I had the fix for the spinning activity icon, but everything that I try, is temporary at best. IMO, this is the buggiest iOS update that I have seen, and I have been using iOS devices since iOS 3 on my first iPad. I realize that there are plenty of people that are not experiencing issues, but I have seen a number of weird things that I wish I could fix. None of my problems are major, but they are annoying. -
For months now I have been puting up with receiving emails generated from Apple Support Communities - sometimes more than 100 a day. Needless to say I am angry. I have done everything I have been told to do so as not to receive them BUT they still keep on coming all day and all night. It is messing up my sytem and taking too much time out of my busy day. When I responded to another person's same problem, I immediately received an email from Apple Support Communities telling me that they have removed my responses from Apple Support Communities! This, after only one day, when I have been writing and requesting help to have these emails stop from cloging up my email! Of course I am upset and now even more.
