I want firefox to remember my library card number and pin
i changed my library card number (same pin)...firefox will not remember my new library card number!
Hello!
Does it remember the old?
If it does try this:
Right click
Click "View Page Info"
Click "Security"
Click "View Saved Password"
Now you can see any password Firefox remembers for the site.
Remove the old password.
Now try go to the site and login with the new password.
Hope it works:D

I'm sorry, I do not fully understand your question. However if you are looking for the email address which you have used for your iTunes account, you can find this out by using the "get info" command on any items you have previously purchased from iTunes and navigating to the summary tab.

I only want firefox to remember email address and not password when I want to login to gmail
You can disable the Firefox Password Manager and use form autocomplete to remember the name.
* Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: [ ] "Remember passwords for sites"
* Tools > Options > Privacy > History: [X] "Remember search and form history"

Before updating to 4.0 I could do library searches and my previous searched criteria was saved as was my library card number. Now these items are no longer being saved.

I'm thinking that there is just a simple correction that I need to make.
Here's what I don't see (what follows if from memory and is not exact).
Do you want Firefox to Remember?
This is followed by "always for this site", "never" or "not now"
I don't ever get that bar anymore AND those sites that I used to be able to automatically get into without entering userid and password, I now have to use my userid and password.
Can you help?* Make sure that you not run Firefox in (permanent) [[Private Browsing]] mode
* You enter Private Browsing mode if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"
* To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
* Uncheck: [ ] "Automatically start Firefox in a private browsing session"

I am tired of always having to type my user name and password every time I want to get on Internet emails. I want Firefox to remember. How do I do this? Also I have trouble on Saturdays with my computer freezing or site just closes.

I don't want firefox to remember my log in on Facebook. How do I change that?
I don't want firefox to remember my log in on Facebook. But I accidently hit remember. How do I change that?
== This happened ==
Every time Firefox openedA. Delete the Password:
https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Remembering+passwords#Viewing_and_deleting_passwords
B. Add Password Exception:
1. Go to Facebook and log in. When Firefox asks you if you want to save this password, select '''Never for this Site''' . See the attached screenshot. -
I want to know how to set firefox to remember my yahoo mail id and password. i've changed my password, but firefox only remember the old password. So, i've erased it in the security settings.
If the name stays the same and you only need to change (update) the stored password then fill the name in the login form and let Firefox fill the wrong password.
You may have to press the Tab key to fill the password field.
If you replace the wrong password with the new password then Firefox should offer to store the new password.
Yahoo uses "autocomplete=off" to prevent Firefox from saving passwords, so you need to use the ''Remember Password'' bookmarklet.
You can verify that Firefox has stored the new password: Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
If that didn't work then remove that name and password and Firefox should offer to save the new password on the next visit or if you refresh the login page.

How do I prevent computer from remembering my credit card number?
I want my computer to NOT remember my credit card number. When I go to renew a subscription on line my credit card number appears automatically. I do not want this to happen.
Hello Robin.
Hopefully this support article is what you need:
https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Form+autocomplete
In any case, your form autocomplete information is safe and will not be transmitted to outside your computer. Now, inside your computer (when someone else uses your Firefox profile), it's not as secure, but it's still fairly secure. -
IPad will not remember my client card number for online banking since ios7 update
iPad will not remember my client card number for online banking since ios7 update
Generally speaking, your bank would use a cookie to store your card number (bad) or to associate your browser with its list of saved card numbers (less bad). If you have cookies cleared after each session, then you may be blocking this feature.
To check your cookie handling for your bank's site, when you are on the site, right-click the page and choose View Page Info, then Permissions. Under "Set Cookies" most likely the "Use Default" checkbox is checked. The actual setting will appear in gray.
If the actual setting is not Allow, then uncheck "Use Default" and check "Allow." This will take effect the next time you start Firefox or if you clear the site's cookies on the Security tab (View Cookies button) and then revisit the site.
If the actual setting already is Allow, then some other feature (e.g., clearing history when you exit) or program (e.g., a security suite) is clearing the cookie.
This article has more tips on troubleshooting problems with cookies that don't save: [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Websites%20say%20cookies%20are%20blocked Websites say cookies are blocked | Troubleshooting | Firefox Help].
