Ed Roske & Tracy McMullen (and Glenn for that matter) are some of the best in the business, and their presentation styles are entertaining.
If you are a new or fairly new with Essbase, the book will save you from reading through the dry (sometimes convoluted and often irrelevant) Oracle documentation.
You won't be wasting your money.
For what it's worth, I'm considering buying Glenn's Essbase Studio book.

It's the Retina Display. the programs you are using need to updated to work with that display. Until that happens you will have to live with it.

I want to know why you are trying to double charge me

I paid for a subscription. Instead of honoring it, when I go to use it, it keeps asking me to pay for it again. I look at my account, and it acknowledges the subscription is paid through January of 2015. But it will not allow me to use the export service to convert a pdf file to Word.
Please tell me why you are doing this and are not giving me what I paid for.
I don't want to be on a discussion board. I want the COMPANY to do what I paid it for.

When I try to export pictures of the night sky in Lightroom, they always look brighter than they are in the preview and are filled with white noise/grain. I've tried changing my color management settings, but to no avail. What can I do to fix this?

Since it has always been very basic to backup your computer and all it's data, Apple provides no way for you to transfer music from your iPhone back to your computer. As you know, you can re-download all iTunes purchases, but music that you ripped yourself you'll have to just re-rip again.
You can try and find 3rd party applications that might help you. I'm sure you'll pay, however.
Let this be a very important lesson learned.

How come that the design mode looks different than preview mode with slideshows?

I am placing a slideshow on the site. when I look in the preview mode the slideshow is not exactly in the same place.
How come? Am I doing somthing wrong?

Welcome to the medium that is the web. Every browser has it's own text layout engine and "web-safe" fonts are a misnomer. You cannot rely on text line breaking the same in different browsers. Thus creating text frames that snuggly fit the text within is likely to result in what's occurring on your site in some browsers or browser versions.
As a general rule, you should attempt to use Web Fonts whenever you can. Use "Web Safe" fonts as a second choice. And only use System fonts as a last resort and only for small amounts of text (since they become an image when output).
If you want a specific portion of text to absolutely never go to two lines, you'll want to put it in a text frame that significantly wider than the text so when the line length varies the text doesn't wrap to a new line.
"Web Safe" fonts are not a single font but actually a list/stack of fonts where the browser goes through the list until it finds a font that's available on the current viewer's device. The fonts in the list/stack are similar in visual appearance and font metrics, but any difference in font metrics is sufficient to result in changes in line breaks, so when using web safe fonts you need to account for much larger variations in line length and line breaking than will occur when using a Web Font.

Why do the site identity buttons not look like what you are showing on the information page?

Just read the email about security from Firefox. I do have the identity button show up in a color, but I do not get the passport officer, nor do I get the information in the drop-down window. All I get is "Verified by: ... or "This site does not supply identity information."

On Windows, you can switch between a classic menu bar and a compact menu opened with an orange button with the word Firefox.
You can switch between these using one of these methods:
* right-click a blank area of the tab bar and turn Menu Bar on or off
* View menu > Toolbars > Menu Bar
* orange Firefox button > Options triangle > Menu Bar
Does that help?
To get to the tab preferences, you can do this:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Tabs
To remove the Ask toolbar, you can go here:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category
You might still have to do a little cleanup after removing an extension, if it changed your home page, new tab page, search provider, etc. Please describe any remaining problems in more detail.

Right-click the Menu bar ''(File, Edit, etc)'' and click on the Menu bar item in that Context menu, so the check-mark is gone.

The pdfs print fine though.

Try doing a spotlight search for all files that start with AdobeFnt. They will be named AdobefntXX.lst, with the XX being some number. They will be scattered across the drive... After making sure that all Adobe applications are closed, trash all the adobefntxx.lst files, those with the 3 letter extension .lst.
Then, restart the system, and open the files in Acrobat again.
Otherwise, what happens in Safe boot? (Remember, Safe boot loads only a default set of fonts.) If they display fine there, the problem most likely is a font issue, one of the fonts that Adobe installed.
Check Adobe's web support page for troubleshooting Fonts.

Activation, selecting to move my existing AT&T number, worked fine. The whole process took barely 5 minutes to complete all within ITunes.

P45 Platinum Owers. Can you go higher than 450MHz FSB with v1.5 or v1.6 BIOS?

I like to know who can overclock FSB to higher than 450MHz if you are with v1.5 or v1.6 BIOS.
I could do over 500MHz FSB with v1.4. Unfortunaetly, it has vCore bug, so I couldn't adjust core voltage.
according to my personal experience, there was overclocking wall around 425MHz with v1.5 and v1.6.
I, actually, was expecting v1.6. But that problem was still there.
I guess MSI blocked overclocking feature on purpose due to reduce damage of there board.
That's why they have perfomance BIOS on there beta BIOS site.
I like to know anyone have same problem as me or all this thing happened to me only.

Study show my goldfish could possibly be smarter than all AT&T employees

I've been conducting a study over the last 3 weeks related to the intelectual competency of AT&T employees in which I gave their lowest-qualified employees a simple task to complete and then measured the time it took for them to complete the task. I was astounded to discover that not a single phone operator was able to schedule an appointment for a tech to move my services to a different apartment unit no more than 250ft away. I figured moving the services out of the area would be too complicated, so i kept the move short in order for the task to seem feasible and to keep my results within reason. After the latter results, I decided to assign the task to their managers, in the hopes that perhaps their minimal education would allow them to do, well, their JOBS. I was even more amazed to find that not one, but NINE different managers over the course of 9 different phone calls and over 9 hours of time spent on the phone could not complete the task either. I questioned whether the task I had previouslly assigned was perhaps too difficult, but decided that given the fact that it is part of their job as an internet provider I decided it was a reasonable request. I then gave the same assignment to my goldfish, Johnson. After the trials with the AT&T employees I was not too surprised to discover that Johnson was not able to complete the task either, but did manage to poop in his bowl which was more helpful than AT&T efforts. As a result, I have concluded that because no employee was able to complete the task but that Johnson's efforts were more useful that my goldfish is actually smarter than AT&T employees. This is a major set back and would make my decission wheather or not I stay with another apple Iphone! I know it is sensitive and is a touch screen but a simple button to press and lock while on phone would be smart thing.
