I want my guest map on to be centered in iWeb site. What am I doing wrong?

Hey gang,
I spent yesterday working on my website http://www.ericseals.com
and added a guest map, similar to what Rowan Cottage did.
His site shows the whole world from Alaska to the left to China on the right.

On my site when the guestmap comes up it shows Europe, Asia and Africa not North and South America like I want it too.

Also I want to get rid of the white bar at the top like Rowan did. Any help and advice would be great

Great work on getting the map integrated...
To get the map to display what you want by default, login to your guestmap account here...

Then adjust the values for "Map Center Longitude" and "Map Center Latitude" until you have it just right. What you can do is to have the Guestmap configuration page open to make adjustments and then have another window with your webpage open to view the changes. Just make an adjustment, then click over to your webpage and reload the page to see the effects of your adjustments.
To get rid of the white space above, below, or around your map... just move your textbox in iWeb around so that the top edge is covered under the textbox where you have your instructions. You can also insert other textboxes and make the the same color as your page background to mask off undesirable areas.

There are two ways that should work. When you are in the trash folder, you can swipe on the email in the list - left to right - and a red Delete button should pop up. Or you can select - Edit - at the top of the list of messages and then select the message and tap delete.
Not sure exactly how this works - but if you have restrictions enabled - especially since you let your grandchild use the device - that may be restricting what you can do in the mail app. Go to Settings>General>Restrictions. If you have it set to on - turn it off or see if you have mail restricted.

Open System Preferences > Displays > select the window for you external monitor > click on the Arrangement tab and check the box next to Mirror Displays. It may be slightly different in Lion, but the idea is the same.

I have iTunes open on my computer and have chosen hen songs that I want to put ony iPod but when I click sync it loads a little bit and then everything disappears. What am I doing wrong?

I had my iPod set up and everything then when I hooked or up to my computer iTunes told me that my iPod could not be read and that I needed to restore it, so I did that and after when i plugged it into iTunes and selected the songs that I wanted to put on my iPod and clicked sync it started to sync but right when it gets to the end it goes blank and says choose your songs/playlists once again and I have to start all over. You haven't opened an account with that Apple ID in iTunes. Open iTunes and log in. A dialog will appear in which you need to enter your Apple ID and/or password. Below it you should see a link for creating a new account. Click on that link to get started.

Your description of the issue is not clear:
What format, bit depth and color was your original file "from the net"? It sounds like it was a Color Indexed GIF, which would cause what you are describing.
In the Macintosh Finder, select said "net image" and do a Get Info on it (Command+i). When the Info box appears in the Finder, take a screen shot and upload it here by using the little camera icon in the Reply Editor in the forum's web interface.
If the image is a 256-color GIF, remember the rule: GIGO = garbage in, garbage out.

You should be getting an error message that PS CS5 requires a higher version of ACR with two options "render using Lightroom" or "open anyway". You should choose the first option. If you are not seeing the error message then go to your Lightroom prefrences >General Tab> under Prompts> select "Reset all warning dialogs", then try the edit in function again.

Good morning to all.
Well I spent many hours last night trying to get my Mail going on my iPad. I phoned Yahoo. After listening music for 3/4 of hour, they gave me so called advise, which I had already tried 25 times. I exchanged emails with Apple support team. They said I did not have support arrangement, so they could not help me unless I buy one time support that costs $30.
I can do emailing through Safari, but It is not up to current standard after I am so used to using "Mail" feature on iPad.
I am now in a desperation state, so I am thinking to buy one time support from Apple.
Just so someone might be thinking about Downloading Yahoo app for Mail, you should know it would not help me because my iPad iSO is 5.1.1. It has to be iSO 6.0 or higher. So I thought rather than spending $30 on one time support from Apple, I just trade in my iPad to get newer iPad.
Is there anyone out there who might save me $30? Thank you everyone for thinking about my problem. BcCanip

Please try the following steps,
1) Visit the My Apple ID website at:
http://appleid.apple.com
2) If the site is not displayed in your preferred language, click the Change Language link in the upper-right corner, type the name of your language in the field that appears, then click the Save button.
3) Click the "Manage your account" link.
4) Type your iTunes Store account name (which is your Apple ID) in the Apple ID field, type your password in the password field, then click the Sign In button.
5) Click "Addresses" in the column on the left. If you have multiple shipping addresses, remove any out-of-date or duplicate addresses by clicking Delete. Also, make sure the state or province field is filled out correctly for each address. To edit an address, click Edit. Edit all of your shipping addresses and make sure the appropriate state is selected in the State drop-down menus.
6) Now click "Phone Numbers" on the left. The area codes should be in the area code fields and the phone numbers should be in the phone number fields. If an area code is missing, or if it is in a phone number field, your account information may not save properly.
7) Make any other necessary corrections, then click the Save Changes button.
8) Click Log out in the upper-right corner.
When you make your next purchase on the iTunes Store, you will be asked to review your billing information. AppleTV rentals are fixed size, and don't degrade quality if the connection is slow.
Minimum suggested requirements for 'instant' streaming are:
SD 2.5Mbps
720p HD 6 Mbps
1080pHD 8 Mbps
Any slower for the content quality selected (Settings iTunes store) and AppleTV has to partially download the movie in order to play through without rebuffering, and that can take anything from minutes to hours depending on internet speed and actual 'file size'.
The problem you see is usually related to slow intermet (very slow LAN connection from your router is rarely an issue but could be if AppleTV is not getting good signal).
On a computer use speedtest.net to test your internet speed.
When I has a 1 Mbs it would take 8-10 hours to download an SD title.
With 4.5 Mbps it take 15-30 minutes to play 720p movies, longer for 1080p.
A big flaw with AppleTV for those with slow connections is the limited hardware and memory - if you get bored waiting for the movie to start and use AppleTV say for YouTube. streaming from your computer iTunes or merely browsing the store trailers this can be enough to delete the portion of a rental already downloaded forcing it to restart each time you use it for something else.
If you turn out to have slow internet an alternative is to rent in iTunes on your computer, then once fully downloaded you can play on AppleTV under Computer>your iTunes>Rentals (only appears when a rental is on the computer ready to play). Alternatively lower rental quality settings from 1080p>720p>SD in future if you need faster starts.
I have also seen issues recently on some of my units where it starts downloading well, but for some reason freezes and refuses to fetch the rest unless I play from the start - this is usually after I've played and paused a rental a few minutes in and I've confirmed it just stops fetching more data sporadically - it never used to do this.

When A person want to log in to a hotmail account to read or send an E-mail, one have to enter the e-mail adress and password. There is also a small square you can mark i you want Firefox to save your password so that you don't have to enter password every time you log in to the e-mail account (in this case hotmail)

* Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* You need an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep that cookie, especially for secure websites and if you let cookies expire when Firefox closes
* Make sure that you do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"

Want to make a report on Custom Object 4 and 3...what am i doing wrong?

My Custom Object 4 has a field which refers to an item of type Custom Object 3. I want to write a report that shows What Custom Object 3 each Custom Object 4 is related to.
So i went to the report builder, clicked the "Advanced Custom Objects" reporting, and made a really simple report that has:
Custom Object 4: Name | Custom Object 3: Name
When i preview it, it says "No Results". But that's not true. All my Custom Object 4 objects refer to a Custom Object 3 object. What's going on here? Can custom objects 4-15 not interact with 1,2, and 3 in reports?

Hi, Yes, it is weird but that is how it is. May be fixed in next release. To hide the column, choose column properties -> column format tab -> Click the field "Hide this column"
