I want my Skype account permanently and completely...

I never use my Skype and I want to delete my account 110%. Contacting skype to do this is a night mare in the worst degree. Please I need my account removed totally and forever.

Skype account blocked and they won't unblock it.

I had this really old skype account, I believe I created it when they released skype, but I had like 7 contacts or less, and used it like once a month, sometimes once a year, I don't know. But I used msn messenger a lot, and my account was really old aswell, and when they merged it with skype, I had to merge my accounts, so that's what I did. but at that time, it was so complicated, you had like two contact lists, on the same software you could send messages as a messenger account, or a skype account, to messenger or skype contacts, and it was really not user friendly, it was impossible to use, even tried to clean my list, deleting duplicated entries, people i never talked to, but still didn't do it, so once again, I abandoned skype and went to facebook. so last year I went away and wanted to do a video call to my girlfriend, so we installed skype. I didn't remember what account name I should use, or wich password was correct, and for some reason my account got blocked. i'm not even sure that i entered a wrong password, but it got blocked anyway. when i tried to retrieve it, said i had to contact support and cmon, to reset your password you have to contact support???? no thanks, decided not to use skype again, and made a video call with facebook. but as of this week, I wanted to make a video call from my android phone, and decided to give skype another go, people told me that it was a good video app, so why not. and there was i trying to retrieve my password, when i ran through this form to fill with a lot of irrelevant information: if i "used credit card to pay for a skype service or if i used paypal." how the hell should i remember a thing i did once in my life and many years ago? i don't know if i used credit card or paypal, how should i know wich credit card i used? ok, next field: "what email address you provided when you registered." ok, when i registered my first skype account, or my messenger email wich i merged later? because i don't know what email i was using back when they launched skype, ffs. so i put my messenger email and procceeded. next question, when did i create my skype account (year AND month). again, my old account, or the one i merged later? and how the hell should i freaking now the year or even the month i created it??? was like centuries ago, cmon!!?! next question, "provide five names that are in your contact list." heck, I had hundreds of people on my messenger, wich i often deleted and replaced, and barely 5 or 7 contacts on skype, wich i never used, and when they merged, i reorganized my list, so i had no idea wich list they were talking about, or who was on it. next question, "what is the total cost of a recent order that you have made." you're kidding, right? next, on what date did you place the recent order (dd/mm/yy)? ... next, "please provide two phone numbers that you have recently called or contacted using skype." god, i tried to order a pizza once, and i called my mother another time, but how am i supposed to remember wich pizza place, and if i called mother at home, work, cellphone 1, 2, or what? jesus. I answered the other questions properly, but apparently they 'don't have enough information to retrieve my account" thanks microsoft. I really wanted to use that account, since it's linked with my microsoft email, wich is also my xbox live account, and some other stuff, and I don't want to have 2 ms addresses, but ok, i really needed to make a video call, so i tried to create another account. I was on my pc trying to solve this problem, so I opened skype website and clicked create account. luckily (or is it?) there was an option to create account with facebook, so that's what I did. and when I went to my phone to login, bam, no option to log in with facebook, and when you create an account that way, you just don't have a name or password to log in on your mobile. good job ms! thanks for ruining my day, and good luck beating apple, google or facebook when you keep treating your costumers like **bleep**.

I've recently noticed that my skype account has been blocked. I don't know what the issue is. I have the password, but it won't let me make calls. I have cash on the account too. But now it is requesting me to fill in forms. What year did I set up my account? 10 years ago or so, maybe 11, maybe 9, 8, 7, not sure. What card did I use to last put money on it.... not sure, it was about a year ago, debit or credit? Can't remember. But out of the 10 questions, I seem to have got one wrong, but it won't tell me which one. I have asked customer service for help, but the genius just asked me to refill in the form. I did again, same issue, something wrong (waiting for 24 hours for failure notification on both occasions) I've asked him to point out what is wrong, but genius refuses to. Honestly, a pathetic customer service experience. 0/100 score. Just some autogenerated BS from India. I've had to now set up an entirely new Skype account. So warning, if your account is blocked, don't bother with customer service. They are useless. Just set up a new account and forget about what ever cash is on your account. Thanks Skype!!

Skype account deletion and no support available.

Hi, i am trying to delete skype account, i have filled up dummy texts in my profile as shown in the support page of how to delete account.and the answer tell me to contact skype support for further actions, but there are only two options on support page, "skype community" and "chat". Community shows me the same procedure and when i open chat, no one from skype comes online to chat, when i try to text in chat, it says You are not currently in a chat session. I tried 4 times and I waited for 15 minutes everytime but no one comes online. Can anyone tell me the exact way to contact skype for account deletion?

Please post back with the details of which web browsers you used in your attempts to contact Customer Service as well as which mobile device or computer you used and its operating system. More importantly, please indicate the steps you took (what you clicked on, exactly) and at which point in the process your progress was halted.
If you can provide screen shots, particularly if error messages are displayed, that would be most helpful. Please ensure no personally identifiable information is revealed when you upload your screen shots here.

Warning! Skype account hacked and money stolen

I feel it is important that Skype users be warned of their vulnerability to Internet theft and take the appropriate action.
All persons with Skype pre-approved payment agreements through Paypal should seriously consider cancelling these agreements immediately. The urgency to take this action is for the following reasons:
1. Paypal considers the theft of a Skype prepaid account as "not an instance of unauthorized account activity" and will not refund monies stolen under these circumstances.
2. Skype has indicated that it is "not liable, and is unable to refund any money that has been lost because of this incident."
After losing almost $100 in unauthorized Skype usage on June 30, 2011, I feel all Skype users should be notified of their vulnerability and be aware that neither Skype nor Paypal will refund money stolen from pre-approved agreements.

Account password changed suddenly and ofcourse the EMAIL was changed as well.
And IM aghast at seeing how many such accounts and for how long has these been going on and SKYPE does nothing.
A simple solution is - when a user is changing EMAIL address, do it via the OLD address only. So if i created a login name ABC thru [email protected] (the first email id) - anytime the user wants to change it, treat it like the Password change TOKEN process. This way NO UNauthorized genius can LOCK some user out.
Maybe some secret questions etc.?

- And credit card FREQUENCY usage? can users set something there? that I wud NOT change my Skype account for more 10$ everyday? or everyweek?

and money wise - there shud be a way to STOP auto-recharge option? Or stop from blowing over like above.

Skype account suspended and customer support will ...

My Skype account was suspended by MS without any reason, I am 100% sure I have not violated any terms and conditions or even done anything out of the ordinary with my Skype accout.
I have contacted customer support on multiple occations and they keep telling me to fill out the account recovery form. Every time I do this they email me back saying to fill out the account recovery form if I want to recover my account, so I am stuck in an infinite loop. The customer service representatives don't even seem to be real humans as they just give a canned reply and don't tell me how to fix this issue. There is no phone number to talk to a real human being so I am now stuck without access to my account and Skype has stolen my money since there was credit on the account.
I will never purchase another Microsoft product again if this is how Microsoft treats their customers, I already own both Mac and PCs and I will simply use Mac from now on. Apple would never treat their customers with such distain.
Microsoft, time to own up to your massive failing in this matter and resolve the issue.

Multiple skype accounts - business and personal.

I have used skype for quite some time now, and I have a personal account that I always use. However my company is requiring that I log in my business account from time to time and use the Skype Business client. Are there any major differences between the business and free client? Can I login my personal account from the business client?

No, the system isn't setup to let us do things like that...this question comes up very frequently and there just isn't a work-around.
Maybe you should try pinging Apple with feedback, especially from the enterprise side, and see if that helps.

Managing account details and completing a seasons pass

Hi. I'm trying to change my account details (ie country), but am getting an error that I have an incomplete season pass. I've already downloaded all the episodes from the tv series, how do I "complete" the pass?? Thanks!

I don't dispute that fact at all, but I know for a fact I had 2.81 GB as download on my account virtually before I even started using it, 150 mb belonged to me as download, and 4 gb for occasional play on runescape doesn't add up either, both his computers are running on Virgin, not the BT internet connection, and why can't I log into my own account as the password doesn't match and have to reset it many times, I suppose thats another .5 gb used as well ???

How do I permanently and completely get rid of instructions in a language I don't speak?

I installed Acrobat XI from a disc I bought from BestBuy, on Windows 7. I eventually used custom install to disable Slovenia language which for some reason kept appearing in the installation instructions. I wanted English only. I kept uninstalling and installing to try to get it to load in English. Finally it seemed to work, but then when I opened the program, the instructions for registering were once again in Slovenia, and I couldn't get past that page. I even looked up some of the words, pressed the right button, and was taken to the serial number page, but I received an error message when I entered the correct serial number. When I try to open .pdf files, I am again taken to the Slovenia registration page. I am stuck, and I cannot activate the product. And yes, I did choose English as the setup language.

In case anyone else run into the same issue, here is the solution:
1. Add remove programs -> Select Acrobat
2. Then click on Change button present next to Uninstall option. Acrobat setup dialog will be launched.
3. Now select Modify option in Acrobat setup dialog
4. In the dropdown list select View Adobe PDF
5. Select the desired language support
6. Install the required language packs
When i did, i got the dialog that let me change the language next time i launched Acrobat XI.
