The procedure is detailed starting on Page 67 of your Maintenance & Service Guide.
Note: I don't work for HP, but looking at the degree of disassembly required, I would say the procedure may well void the conditions of warranty.

How can we get the oil paint filter for photoshop cc 2014

As a matter of fact I have tried GREYCstoration.
Have you actually run that thing? The has no sliders, no scroll bars, is not resizeable, and has about eleventy seven parameters that interact in who knows what way. I'm as geeky as they come and this plug-in is still simply too much like a research tool and not enough like a usable noise reduction program. I have not yet found a set of parameters that delivers the good results I showed above, which balance just enough smoothing with just enough detail retention.
Its heart is in the right place, but it does not equal the ease of use and utility of Oil Paint.

Depending upon what country that you are in (films can't be redownloaded in all countries), and if it's still in your country's store (and if the studio allows redownloading), then you might be able to redownload it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes. If you can't redownload it then do you have a copy of it on the backup of your downloads/library that you've been keeping ?

I lost some music and I want to know how to get it back.

We have 2 iPhones and an iPod Touch all linked to the same iTunes account. When one of us downloads music and apps to the different devices, it does not always download it to our PC when we plug in. Some of the albums show up on the PC iTunes account, but won't let us play them. Now I have downloaded the latest software update for my iPhone and all my music that I had downloaded to the phone is gone and it cannot locate it. How do I get the albums back with out having to purchase them again? We have started to only download things on the PC and just plug the device in to add the items. I just want to know what to do about the previously purchased items.

You get one download only.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc.
Use your backup to put everything back.
You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception, but they are under no obligation to allow it.

How do I go back to Photoshop CC ? After 2014 downloaded, and the panals were gone, I want to go back to the CC version.. All of my extensions are on CC..

Please tell me how to revert to the previous version of Photoshop and the programs that went with it ?? The default in Windows Explorer is the 2014 version , with no option for CC at all. I can't even change it on the default extension on windows. I would also like the extension manager that went with it, please. I also don't want to LOSE any extensions that might have been brought forward from CC to 2014.

My Adobe Reader toolbar that allows you to save, print, email, etc. the document in the browser window/tab has disappeared and I want to know how to get it back.

I was unable to view PDF files in Firefox and would get a blank screen telling me I needed to re-install Adobe. I did that and was still unable to view PDF files in the browser window or tab.
Now that I have upgraded to the most current version of Firefox I no longer have the Adobe Reader toolbar that used to be a toolbar above a PDF file when viewing in the browser window or tab. I don't have the printer icon, floppy disc icon, email icon, page arrows to scroll up or down, the percentage for size, etc. Is there a way to be able to have this toolbar again?

I do not use Adobe Reader, but use Foxit Reader in its place, and had the same problem. In Foxit Reader, I right-clicked in the area at the top where you would expect the toolbar to be (it was a blank area immediately above the displayed PDF file), and chose which toolbars to display and that has "stuck" and I still see the Foxit toolbars when I load a PDF file after system shutdown overnight. The only problem is that the area where you would expect the toolbars is still there and blank, but the toolbars that I selected appear immediately below that blank area. See if that works in Adobe Reader for you.

Need Programming Help - Changing Algorithm for PhotoShop's Oil Paint Plug-In Filter

The existing PhotoShop Oil Paint filter only works well when applied to relatively small image sizes of around 500kb. I need to apply these effects to relatively large image sizes of around 100mb.
I do not have a background in programming, but to my way of thinking it seems reasonable to assume the algorithm parameters in the existing code can be altered so that the Oil Paint filter will work well when applied to large images.
I am seeking a programmer capable of doing this.
The Oil Paint filter is derived from Pixel Bender, for which there is an SDK. Adobe no longer supports Pixel Bender and will not be supporting the Oil Paint filter with the next release of PhotoShop CC. I will need to run the updated filter in PS 6 (on OSX) for which Adobe has promised continued support.
If for some reason it is not possible to enhance the existing Oil Paint filter, creating a G'MIC filter capable of achieving the same goal may be a feasible option. In GIMP there is a G'MIC filter under Artistic called Dream Smoothing that produces results somewhat similar to the Oil Paint filter. Unfortunately, with just one control parameter, it is severely limited. It also does not function well when applied to large images.
The most desirable solution is to have a PhotoShop plug-in filter that functions exactly like the existing Oil Paint filter, with the one enhanced characteristic of working as well when applied to 100mb to 200mb images as it currently does when applied to 500kb images.
Suggestions, advice, guidance or other wisdom on how to accomplish this is very much appreciated.
(I am a digital illustrator in the San Francisco Bay area using OSX running on a new-model MacPro.)

Think the now unstoppable Google Chrome v32 for Macs. Unbelievable gall from Google; and it breaks anything that is supposed to run /stream from the web in Apple Inc's QUICKTIME). Anyway: When I clicked on your provided link (above), it brought meto the PIXEL BENDER page, including numerous archived PLUG-IN downloads; Neither of the URIs (for a plug-in that enables OIL PAINT filter in PS CS 5) - for any of the offered 64-bit Mac OXS plug-ins /downloads. Nothing happens. Can you please explain more; or perhaps what it is I am doing wrong? NOTE: I did not "sign in" at the time, to the Adobe site with my Adobe account ID /pwd; but then - I did not think I HAVE to sign in download a freely available plug-in.

Before: attachments not in body of letter. Now: attachments in body of letter - not wanted so. How do I fix?

A few days ago when I used Thunderbird in sending e-mail messages as I would place an attachment it would just stay as an attachment and there was not change to what I had entered in the body of the message.
Now when I make an attachment to an e-mail message, the attachment holds with the message, but also becomes part of the body of the message. i.e. form or picture now showing in full in body of e-mail message.
I want to know how to change Thunderbird back so the attachments just stay attachments only.

Need Oil Paint filter enhancement to work with large images

As Adobe is not supporting the Oil Paint filter with the next version of PhotoShop, can the code for this filter be made available for open source development?
I desperately need to utilize effects that can be created using Oil Paint, but I have to have the code altered so I can apply these effects to relatively large image sizes.
The current filter works fine for relatively small image sizes around 500kb or so, but has little or no effect on images of around 100mb.
I need to have this capability. I would like to have the code of the current filter altered to be able to achieve this.
I realize I will need to continue using PhotoShop 6 as the code will not be supported with the next version of PhotoShop.
If this is not the correct forum to post this, please let me know where I should be asking this question.

What's the problem you're having with applying it to an 80 MB image? Is it that the effects don't scale up enough?
Technically it can run on large images if you have the computer resources... I've just successfully applied it to an 80 MB image, and with the sliders turned all the way up it looks pretty oil painty, though it kind of drops back into a realistic looking photo when zoomed out...
If it's just that the sliders can't go high enough, given that it's a very abstract look you're trying to achieve, have you considered applying it at a downsized resolution, then upsampling, then maybe applying it again? This is done that way...
Oh, and by the way, Oil Paint has been removed from Photoshop CC 2014, so if you're planning a business based on automatically turning people's large photos into oil paintings you should assume you'll be stuck with running the older Photoshop version.

pl/sql has a break button?
assuming that you're using some gui tool, and hit a break button while executing some pl/sql - when the "break" is hit, the gui either rolls back the transaction or it leaves the transaction alone, waiting for you to either commit or rollback.
the rollback will stay there until the transaction is either committed or rolled back.
when the session disconnects, it will either rollback or commit the transaction (depending on the tool).

How do I get back PHOTOSHOP TOOLS in Bridge CS5.1?

I used the PHOTOSHOP option under TOOLS in Bridge CS5 all the time. I upgraded my InDesign to CS5.5 and with it I was automatically upgraded to Bridge CS5.1 but now ther is no longer a PHOTOSHOP option under TOOLS. When I try to open the older Bridge CS5, it automatically opens CS5.1. How can I get back the PHOTOSHOP option under TOOLS in Bridge CS5.1?

It seems related to the different versions and their start up scripts. First check Bridge Preferences Start Up Scripts has a PS script showing and see if the checkmark in front is checked. If not you have to copy the old script in the new location. Not sure if this works and without knowing if you have a Mac or Windows. For a Mac there is library at root level (so not in the user account).
Here is the path: HD/Library/ Application Support/ Adobe / Start Up scripts. You probably have two folders, one called CS5 and one called CS5.5. Try to copy (copy, not move) the Photoshop script to the CS5.5 folder and try if that works. Theoretically Bridge 4.1 (that comes with CS5.5 - yes it is a bit confusing) should recognize the scripts. And basically Bridge 4 (CS5) and Bridge 4.1 (CS5.5) are the same. But If you set Bridge 4.0 it will probably not recognize the new InDesign start up scripts.
