I want right-click to always be Pencil tool... how?

I want right-click to always be Pencil tool in the piano roll editor, but almost every time I open my project, the mouse-click tools are not how I have previously set them. Sometimes they are, sometimes not.
I have "right mouse assign to tool" in preferences
No other preferences are being forgotten

Ok, with that preference selected you can see 3 tools in the top right hand corner of the piano roll editor (actually in all the editor windows). The 3rd one is the right-click tool, set it to pencil and save the song. As these are project preferences they will need to be set for each project so make the changes in your templates and any projects you start from them will be set up this way.

To begin, the form doesn't fill when I start to type.
I found that I can click on the pencil icon and then down-arrow. But when I do that I have to:
Name-enter, Address-enter, State-enter, Zip-enter. You get the idea. It's about the same as having to type it out anyway, practically.

I can't right click with the new lion update. how can I fix it?

Before the Lion update I was able to right click and now I cant. It doesnt even give me the visual example when you get into the track pad set up page. just the 1 finger and the 3 finger opts. AND everytime i got to set up the two finger tap for right click, once i get out o that pane it doesnt work and whe i go back to the set up pane it is unclicked. Help!

Create a new user and log in as that user, and see if Safari works over there. If it does, then it's probably something in your local login environment related to Safari. If the other user also has trouble with Safari, then there's a more general problem with Safari.
Also check the console (Applications > Utilities > Console.app) when Safari tips over, and see if there's anything relevant logged there.

Go to your User's Library folder. (if you don't know how to find, see this link .)
          •          Scroll to Mail folder.
          •          Select the V2 > MailData folder.
          •          Delete any files in MailData with envelope in the name. (should be 3)
When you open Mail it will re-index your files.
Open the Connection Doctor under Window in the Menu bar.
Do you see red lights? If yes, click on Show Details
Most likely you need to re-enter your passwords in SMTP settings.

Since about two weeks the right click doesn't work in firefox, how do i resolve this?

I always used the Nightly version of Firefox, so I figured it was a bug in the new update. But by now I completely removed Nightly, and installed the normal Firefox, but still nothing happens after rightclicking in the screen > in, e.g. the bookmark toolbar it does work properly, but not anywhere while browsing!

Is there a way to open the right click menu on the left side of your pointer?

Whenever I try to right-click an object that's located on the right side of the screen, the pointer always automatically click whatever entry in the right-click menu which just happens to be under the pointer the moment the menu is opened. I noticed that the reason this happens is because the right click menu always forces itself to open on the right side of the pointer, and when there isn't enough space, the right-click menu will open underneath the pointer. Since this is horribly inconvenient, is there a way to open the right-click menu on the left side of your pointer?

Are you saying you have an icon on the far right side and when you rt click on it, your pointer ends up opening wherever it lands? That is a two step process, or normally should be at least a two step process. Do you have a Mouse in your Control Panel? You should check, because there may be some properties with which you can play. For instance, I can switch primary and secondary functions on my mouse buttons by checking a box.
When I rt click on right side, the menu opens on the left.
When I rt click on left side, the menu opens on the right.
In order for me to take an action, I then have to move to an area in that menu and click.

What you can do if you want right click is create a new ContextMenu and ContextMenuItem. You'll have to add a mouse click listener to each of your stage items though so you can track the last one clicked;

How to activate a JButton with right-click?

If I create a JButton and add an ActionListener, I can activate the button with a mouse left-click but not with a mouse right-click.
I've looked at other posts related to this topic. Some people have said that the default is that either a left- or right-click will activate a JButton but I can't get this to happen.
If I add a MouseListener to the button, I get mouse events for both left and right clicks (in mousePressed() for instance) but only the left-click goes on to activate the JButton.
I'm using Java 1.4 with Windows 2000.

I use Windows 98, that's what I get too. I'm pretty sure that's normal behavior. If you want right clicks to be processed as well, use this code:

I have a jtable setup to provide right click menu's, however I want to have the row i'm right clicking on to be selected. How would I go about that?

You can use JTable.rowAtPoint(Point)
and pass in the mouseEvent.getPoint( ) value to retrieve the current row.

I don't know how to change the setting so that I can have a traditional right click on the touch pad.
I know that you can press with both fingers to do some functions like a right click, but when I am using Microsoft word or Facebook I cannot figure out how to right click a misspelt word and see how its spelt. When I right click a work in word or facebook the cursor changes to the scrolling.
Please help, it is getting really annoying taking a minute to figure out how to spell a word because I cant right click

Go to control panel -> mouse
Here you would find some standard options to control the USB mouse and touchpad.
In order to find some advanced touchpad control settings, you should go to last tab.
I guess your notebook supports ELAN touchpad and therefore the last tab should be called ELAN
Within this tab you have to click on Options button.
Now new window (ELAN smart pad) would open providing different control options.
In One finger tab you would find the option to control the tapping, clicking, drag and drop, edge scroll.
Additionally you find the tabs for Multi-finger and Additional features.

Inside the browser, right click on the mouse seems to be disabled. How can I enable the right click button? It works fine on toolbars and tab bar but not inside tabs or windows. I would like to be able to copy and paste and such. Thank you

Right mouse button does not open any menu when clicked inside of tabs or windows. Works properly on the toolbars, in the address line, search bar...etc. but has no action on the page I'm browsing. I purchased a mouse recently and like the old one, the right button works in all other areas of my operating system. I would like to know if there is a setting in firefox that I can change to correct this.

There are also websites that can disable the right-click context menu.
