Problem with Full Screen Caller App on my Nokia 67...

Hi, am having some trouble with the Full Screen Caller App, that I downloaded yesterday from the Ovi Store.... It seemed to work ok, but is inconsistent - when texts come through, some say who the text is from (& the image associated with that contact), but too often, it reverts back to the phones way (Nokia 6700 slide) & just says 1 new message.... Also, when I call someone, sometimes the FS Caller comes into action, other times, it doesn`t.
I mainly bought this app for the incoming text solution, as my 6700 slide does not state who the text is from (unlike my old 6700 classic)....... My settings all seem to be ok, but I could still be doing something wrong..... Would it help to re-download the app?
Any advice would be very much appreciated...... Im starting to think that maybe I shouldn`t have bought it

This could a RAM case, as when the phone is doing something and RAM goes down, it starts to close certain apps. Personally if all you wanted was a name on txt msg alerts I would recommend iSMS or ThreadSMS. AFAIK both works on on non-touch phones (iSMS was originally for s60v3) and not only do they provide the senders name on the text alert, they also let you view your messages in conversation view (iphone style) and are free...XD

Full screen caller picture on iOS 7.1?

Now that iOS 7.1 is out I successfully upgraded my iPhone 5.
It changes the full screen pictures to a small picture in a circle. It used to be more
aesthetically pleasing, showed more information at a glance, it's totally beyond me while they would change something that looked so good.
Is there any way to restore the full screen caller images?

Dearest Apple I love your designs and so I am going to cut you some slack but please fix. Tnis is how serious it is : I am on iPhone since 3GS. This is the first time ever i am not going to upgrade on the very day the new iOS came out. I am not going to upgarde despite the fact that my iPhone 5S crashes and restarts two times a day without an apparent reason and iOS7.1 apparently fixes that. I am not going to upgrade despite the fact that since 4S I am looking to change the Siri UK English voice to female and now I could. I will eventually have to upgrade when I buy a CarPlay compatible car but you will have fixed it by then and all will be forgotten;)

Before in iOS 6, whenever friends or family call my phone..i used to get the full screen call image of them...now ever since i updated to iOS 7...its a circle...is Apple bringing back the full screen call image thing or is it there in iOS 8?.
Please advise.

@Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.

Settings you make in ACR for a Raw file are written to the separate XMP side car file. (The Camera Raw preferences has this set by default and to my opinion it should stay so, but the other option is to save them in a central database)
However, opening the same file in ACR and make new adjustments the previous settings are overwritten by the new ones. You can save them separately but that would be a hell of a job. If you want to be on the safe side you should make a proper back up of the whole folder (be sure to have the XMP files included, by default those are hidden files in Bridge) before someone else starts playing with the settings. However, you can always go back to the default version using the option in the little menu icon next to the name op f the panel (first panel is Basic). click on the icon and from the provided menu choose 'Reset Camera Raw Defaults' to go back to the originals.
I don't use jpeg in ACR very often but I believe ACR settings for jpeg and tiff are written in the XMP data in the file itself instead of a separate XMP file. You can revert to default or make new settings that also overwrite the older settings.
Making adjustments in ACR shows the results in Bridge (it uses the XMP data for the preview) but to make it visible in other apps you also have to save them in Photoshop itself to make the changes persistent so that mail and print reflect your settings.
So basically, let her play with the files and either chose the option to save the files (bottom left in ACR Window and choose the wanted provided options or open and save them in Photoshop to get the proper result. And if you want to be on the safe side let here use her own copies and keep the originals to your self.

Haha .. I have seen one million post on this issue since 7.1 was released. Everybody hates it and it is perhaps Apple's stupidest design decision. I, personally, happen to like it ... or not mind it as much either way, I should say.
But that's not what you asked ... Apple thought it was best for some odd reason to change the full screen pics to an itty bitty circle. As a previous poster said, it cannot be changed. But be sure to go to Apple's feedback website and let them know you are unhappy about it. I sense an iOS 7.1.1 coming out REAL soon!

Just want to ask about the full screen icon that used to be on the play bar but seems to have disappeared since upgrade to mountain lion, any way to get it back?

Since upgrading to mountain lion I've noticed the full screen icon which used to be on the playback bar in quicktime has gone, I know you can go to the menus to make it full screen but if you're watching something online like with apple trailers I can't seem to make them fullscreen anymore, is it me or have they just taken this option away now?

As already stated, the icon was replaced by the "Share" pop-up menu icon in the same location.
and the command-f keys don't work either when I'm playing in a browser and it's truly only been since I upgraded to mountain lion.
Strange! It works for me. Here is a link to a screen recording of me wayching a trailer in Safari and later watching a trailer download. In both cases the trailer could be expsnded for full screen viewing and then reduced back to the size of the original 720p player display screen. If you can't do this then you may have a player problem also.

Why did apple make these changes when they worked perfectly the old way, I mean if it ain't broke don't fix it!
Only Apple whould know for sure but my guess would be that other users may have requested the "Share" pop-up more. Makes no difference to me because I normally use the key shortcuts anyway.

The message shows " SUCCESS " . I think you should contact the vendor of that particular application through his support email . Have you tried to contact that vendor to know about this error ?

Full Screen Caller image was one of the best feature of an iPhone that made look iPhone simpler and fantastic to use..
This particular feature seems to have been last with the upgrade to iOS 7.1..

I agree with you on the full screen view for when a users contacts call them. I hesitated upgrading, Apple has now joined the ranks for screw-ups! Since the late Steve Jobs left this earth, Tim Cook has royally screwed-up this company! Customers here in th U.S and arouund the world are the ones shelling out hundreds of dollars for a product that is the best next thing to revoluntionize the way we communicate with others. But it seems that $600+ dollars gets us junk and a device not tailored to us, the users. I want to call them "M!cr0$oft Apples!" Give us the ability to go back to iOS6. Let us choose! We the customers have made this company rich, full of wealth beyond their greedy little hands. Give us the ability to choose what OS we want to install. Their should be a transparency relationship between the customer with the money, and worker who will work for us to render a product that we "the users," want" and not want a senior desinger assumes we think is good. Remember, this is all thanks to a legend who we all know and respect as ("in my own opinion), the father of modern communication Steve Jobs. SJ worked till his last days here to creat a masterpiece, T.C came on board and took a huge "memoryDUMP," and disregarded his visions. Contacts full screen caller id

do I have to set the contacts that are on my iphone 3gs to sync in from icloud only so that i can get a full screen caller id photo ?? I had tried this but i found that if there are any other contacts from google or yahoo the contacts photo when they call my phone show up as a small square in the top. so I wanted to ask if anyone else had made this work correctly and if so how??

But, I checked all the options under accessibility, and I can't find a way to do this.
Like Genuis2000, I have tried setting the photo by:
1 - Using an existing Photo
2 - Taking a new photo with the iPhone and using that.
Either way, it only shows a little thumbnail photo when the person calls.
