I want to acces my one note book offline. ..

I cannot acces my notebook in offline mode. However, it seems that online mode is the only possibility to syncr with my Ipad.
I would like to be able to open and edit my notebook both on my Ipad and on my windows computer offline, and when I am online it should syncr. automaticly.
(By the way, how does the syncr. work if in case of offline edit - I have been editting in the same doc on both my Ipad and my computer ??)
This is how it looks. The problem is, that it is not a real onedrive folder/file like the other ones (wordfiles other notebooks not accesable on Ipad etc.). A googlechrome symbol and just a link..
I have been searching and searching for answers, and it should be possibe.. I just can't figure out HOW.. This is what it says on a Microsoft webpage: "One note creates a local copy for editing ..."
- But it hasn't... If so, WHERE?

OneNote creates a local copy of the notebook for offline editing in the Local Settings folder,
You can access this folder here:
Quick way to access the Local Folders is to type %localappdata% in Windows Explorer and hit Enter.

It's not an accounting "oversight" but rather has been the policy since Apple started offering the ability to buy gifts. Why they do not allow gifts to be purchased with a gift balance has never been explained, but they're not the only store to have such a restriction by any means - Amazon is one example - so clearly there is some valid reason, legal or fiscal, why this is not allowed. I point out that the gift cards clearly state that they cannot be used to purchase other gifts.
In any case, ranting here does no good since, as KP said, we are all fellow users. If you want to complain to Apple, use their feedback page.

Make my own template for a one page book?

I need to make a book template that will appear in the list of possible book designs -- is that possible?
Secondly -- I want to make a one-page book (call it a poster if you want) it's really a form that I want to print out with a different photo each time. It's actually a casting form/release for models. I want to be able to shoot a tethered photo of model, put it into a one-page form which already has a model release in it and print it out so they can sign it.
I have not been able to work with any of the existing templates because they won't permit me to reduce the number of pages to one or two. (sure I can always just choose to print one page, but I want to keep all this as simple as possible as it will be casting assistants or studio assistants doing this).
So my questions are:
1. Can I create my own Aperture book template?
2. Can I create a template that is only one or two pages?
3. Can I enter the model's name, email, phone, etc in metadata and have that print out as a release form for them to sign?
4. Can I use Automator to make this a "push the button" operation?

I don't recommend you switch to manual management as it is more work for a worse outcome. Play counts and ratings will no longer sync in both directions for example, and should you need to restore the device you will need to work out what has to be synced to it again. The whole point is that if you are syncing the device with selected playlists all management of what does and does not go on to the device can be done in iTunes, whether the device is connected at the time or not. Edit the playlists that you sync to the device, connect it, sync, and you're done. Since you have no need to micro-manage the content directly on the device when it is in sync mode, iTunes doesn't let you.

Data A:D is all cells start at column A thru column D.
There is built-in help using the menu item "View > Show Function Browser" in the search field (top right) you can enter vlookup and you will see the detailed description.
From this we see:
VLOOKUP
(search-for, columns-range, return-column, close-match)
search-for: The value to find. search-value can contain any value type.
columns-range: A range of cells. range is a reference to a single range of cells, which may contain values of any type.
return-column: A number that specifies the relative column number of the cell from which to return the value. return-column is a number value. The leftmost column in the range is column 1.
close-match: An optional value that determines whether an exact match is required.
close match (TRUE, 1, or omitted): If there’s no exact match, select the column with the largest top-row value that is less than the search value. Wildcards can’t be used in search-for.
exact match (FALSE or 0): If there’s no exact match, return an error. Wildcards can be used in search-for.
So... the 2,0 means return the value form the same row as the lookup value but from the 2nd column of the range. 3, 0 means from the 3rd column. the ", 0" means exact match

Don't know if there is an option make the download window stay up, but you can bring it back with Ctrl+J then right-click on the download to open the folder it was downloaded to.

I have just come from IE and am trying out Firefox. The send to one note feature is not available and looked at the extensions and enabled all the ones I previously had. I would like to have the send to one note for MS 2010 as I did before. Is that option available?

How does one retrieve missing documents form note book

Check Settings>iCloud>Notes
Is the switch for this turned on? If so then your notes should be backed-up to iCloud. If not then the only backup that would be available will be when you last backed up either using iTunes or iCloud.
If you use iCloud to backup then then go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup - if you see a date at the bottom of the page this will confirm when your device was last backed up to iCloud, and you may be able to restore it this way provided of course that backup date was when required note was still on your device.
