The Game Center app is pre installed and cannot be removed from the device.
Best thing to do is move it to the last available screen.
Hold down the Game Center app until all the apps jiggle then sliide the Game Center app to the right from one screen to the next. This requires a bit of finesse, but it's doable.
Press the Home button one time to stop the apps from jiggling.
For the Apple ID issue, try resetting.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Then try your Apple ID and password for the Game Center app.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You might try to see if you can change your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > Password and Security.
I'm able to do this, others say they need to input answers to their current security questions in order to make changes, I'm inclined to think its worth a try, you don't have anything to lose.
If that doesn't help you might try contacting Apple through Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices)

HT5622 My wife and I shared an Apple ID, have closed out iTunes on her iPhone and iPad but will not allow her email address to be associated with a new account even though it does not appear anywhere in my information. Any suggestions.

While trying to set up a new iTunes account when I enter her email address it says we have to select a new email address. I have checked and her email is not associated with my iTunes account and really do not want to establish another email account. Any suggestions?

Why does our macbook pro save pictures to downloads on my wife's account, but my side does not?

In the beginning, everything worked fine. I dabbled with everything. Just getting the feel for os x. My account still works great, but my wife is having issues on her side. Such as, changing her desktop background, all of her friends pictures on facebook has downloaded to her download folder and if she deletes them, she also deletes them from her friends list. and the notifaction pop up that I get showing me that someone has sent a notification to me without being on facebook. I forgot how I did that, but my wife wants it done to hers. Any help on these issues? Please?

Hi. I am really frustrated with Apple support. After two hours of trying to navigate their support site, I finally gave up. I really hope someone here will be kind enough to help me find a solution to my problem.
My iTunes always launched with my account, my library, etc. present. Now it launches in a generic form with none of my information present. It also has no "sign in" area so I can get to my data. I'm not sure what happened, can anyone help?

I've not noticed this but haven't looked for it either - I suspect you are seeing 'normal' behaviour for AppleTV 2/3 - in other words it's ignoring the iTunes flags.
With AppleTV 1 I used to set playback start/end times using Get Info in iTunes for certain self-indulgent music videos I'd bought which had several minutes of 'acting dialogue' you'd only endure once - this allowedme to shuffle music videos with only the song part of the video being played not all the waffle before the song started. AppleTV 2 and 3 ignore this setting.
Also, with AppleTV1 if you unticked the check box next to stuff you never wanted to stream AppleTV would behave as expected and not display it at all - useful for preventing non-family friendly material from streaming in the first place or excluding seasonal material and do forth. AppleTV 2/3 completely ignore the checkboxes on iTunes ans stream everything though you can of course enable parental controls.
Hard to know if it's the AppleTV's ignoring the info or iTunes not sending it to them in the first place.

They won't answer but it may get put on a 'to do' list if enough users complain.
I'm still waiting for AppleTV 2/3 to handle iTunes LP and iTunes Extras!

What do I do when I want to create an Apple ID if I dont have any method of payment? The 'none' option does not appear beside other payment methods in the 'Review Payment Information' page.

Using an existing iTunes Store or App Store account
If you have an unpaid balance or payment due, you can't select None as your payment type. To see which order you need to pay for, view your purchase history. When you sign in to the store, you may see a message that there was a billing issue with your last order. Click the Billing Info button to see the order.
After you pay for the order, you can change your payment information to None.
Creating a new iTunes Store or App Store account
When you create a new store account or sign in with an existing Apple ID (that you haven't used in the store), you must provide a payment method. If you want to remove the payment method after you create the account, you can change your payment information to None.
If you want to create an account with a new Apple ID, follow these steps to create an account without a credit card.

Problem with Call Library Function. Want to pass a string and return a string, but my compiler does not recognize "CStr" and Labview does not recognize my "char *function()" callout

Hi, I'm trying to use a .DLL I wrote in Visual C++ .NET. The Call Library Function generates a function prototype of "CStr Parser(CStr arg_raw)"
but my compiler won't accept this. So I change it to how C normally deals with strings "char *Parser(char *arg_raw). Now the Call Librafy Function does not find "Parser" in my .DLL though it is definitely there!

You will need to include extcode.h in your C file. You can find this under ..\LabVIEW\cintools folder.
The include has all the defines you will need.

I want to sync mail on a few computers but Firefox sync does not appear in the tools menu. Do I need to download and install syncing tool? Thanx

Also, bear in mind, please that at home I use Mac and in the office Win 7. I'd like to be able to sync my emails on both computers and my netbook which I use when travelling.

Firefox doesn't do email, thus Firefox Sync has no features for email.
If you are accessing your email thru Firefox, you are using web mail. By default most email portals keep your email until you delete it. You should be able to access your email from anywhere - not device dependent.

The button to create a new account with iChat does not appear

The @mac.com Registration is Here
You are right that there was a Button in iChat and iChat 5 that when @mac.com was selected as the type would then sned you off to that page (in iChat 5 the AIM option and using the Button took you to the AIM registration)
Soon after Apple brought this to iChat 5 then AIM moved their Registration page making the Link useless.
For some reason Apple also removed the ability in iChat 5 to go to the @mac.com site
The Button is absent (rather than "Missing") in iChat 6 and Messages beta.

ON the @mac.com site keep the password to 16 characters or less (The AIM server limits)
You cannot use another Email to link to the @mac.com name that is already in use with an Apple ID

HT1848 I downloaded a book on itunes on one computer and it is not listed on a seconded computer. Same account. I have tried updating purchases and transferring recent purchases, transferring purchases from another devices. Still does not appear.

I purchased a book on one macbook in my itunes account. I tried to open it on another account while logging into itunes account. The book does not appear.
I have tried updating purchases, the bottom at the bottom-update purchases from another device. Still does not appear.

If it's an audiobook then you will need to copy it over from the first computer to the second computer - audiobooks are currently one-time only downloads, so they won't appear under the Purchased link for re-downloading. If you copied it onto a device from the first computer then you should be able to copy it off that device to the second computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. If it's not on a device and both computers are on the same wifi network then you should be able to copy it over via home sharing (there are instructions on this page), or you can copy it to, for example, a flash drive (you can find it's location on the first computer by control-clicking it in your iTunes library and selecting 'Show In Finder') and then add it to the second computer's iTunes (File > Add To Library).
If it's an ibook then you should be able to re-download it from the store : re-downloading.

I'm trying to get her ID's sorted out. Anyway, I am wanted to know if there's a work around for this. I know it's a safeguard created so people cannot endlessly log in and out of others accounts and share there music and stuff. So, any help?

There is no work around, you must wait the 90 days (or however long is remaining) before associating the device with another Apple ID.
Keep in mind that if you log into your mother's iPad with your iTunes Store Apple ID she will then be using that Apple ID for everything including purchases. Any apps purchsed with her Apple ID can not longer be updated on the device.
