I want to activate my windows 2008R2 64bit server getting error message is invalid license key
i download the windows 2008R2 64bit media from microsoft site and install it after that try to activate my key but error message coming invalid license key. pls help me.
if you are using a key and download form same area of the license ports you may just have a corrupt down load you can try to download again, or if you burnt the disk try buring a new copy at a slower speed. otherwise you should call your Microsoft licensing
professional to make sure the order went through as expected and you are downloading the proper image.
I don't think you can buy a 2008 r2 license anymore so I also assume you purchased 2012 r2 licensing and are you using a 2008 r2 key? the 2012 r2 key will not work with downgraded OS you need to get the key that matches the os from the licensing portal.

Can't reinstall itunes on windows 7 comp. Get error message "object already exists"
Difficulty reinstalling itunes on Windows7 machine. Despite uninstalling everything apple, I constantly get error message: "object already exists" and the install fails. I have gone through hard drive but can't find anything itunes or apple. Uninstalled everything apple in control panel. What am I missing?
Try opening Control Panel > Programs and Features > View installed updates then checking for the Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2918614). , Uninstall if you have it, then reboot.
There is a strong hint here that it should resolve this issue, although personally I have that update installed and have been able to remove and reinstall iTunes without any problem.
Click for more on KB2918614 which is an update to the Windows Installer Service released July 12th 2014. The timing and nature of the update suggest a connection with the "Object already exists" issue which affects other installations as well as iTunes.

We bought Premiere Elements 10/Photoshop Element 10 a while ago and it worked brilliantly on our Window XP machine, but since we moved to Windows 7 last year we can't get Premiere Elements 10 to work properly and always get the error message 'A reduced set of content (Instant Movie Themes, Title and Menu templates, etc) has been installed. You can install the full content by inserting your Content DVD or downloading it. Do you want to install now?'. So I've tried reinserting the DVDs and installing them. I've uninstalled all the software and started again, but each time I get the same message at the end of the process. I've spoken to the computer shop I bought the computer from and they say Windows 7 is incompatible, but that doesn't seem to be what the Adobe web site says. Please, any advice welcome as I've got a year's worth of videos I need to edit.

Are you working with Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit? What video card/graphics card does your computer use? NVIDIA GeForce? And, are you doing your download and installing with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?

If you have tried to obtain the Premiere Elements 10 Content from the installation disc labelled for Content for your version and operating system and that is not working, then can try downloading and installing the Content from the following Adobe link if you do not decide to click on the message to initiate the content download from within the program.

BrianDany I am sorry you are facing difficulties installing Creative Suite 3 under Windows 8.1. Windows 8.1 was not available during the time period which Creative Suite 3 was developed and the last updates released.
I would recommend reviewing your PDApp.log and possibly AMT3lib.log file for error messages which are preventing the installation. You can find details on how to locate and interpret the log files at Troubleshoot installation with install logs | CS3, CS4. You are welcome to post any specific error messages which you discover to this discussion. -

Help(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. Using Boot Camp to Install Windows 7. Keep getting error message "Installer Disk Not Found"
I'm partially throught the Boot Camp set-up process and keep getting the same error message when trying to install Windows. The disk is in the drive, not sure why it's not recognizing it.
I had this problem on my brand-new Mac Pro, but fixed it in my case by burning another copy of the installer disc (from the official download image, not a pirate copy lol) at a SLOWER speed, rather than allowing it to burn at the "maximum possible" setting. This gives the laser more time to properly record, but it didn't perceptually increase the time it took to burn the disc.
I speculate that error-checking is too stringent, but weak; that is, not intelligent enough to correct any read errors. Of course, Apple's test configurations are likely using commercially-produced off-the-shelf discs rather than burned from downloads or they know to never use max speed out of habit. -

Hello, I am having a bit of trouble with my win 8.
I have a genuine product key, but for some reason it will not activate.
Does it take some time to get connected for activation or is it something else?
The error is 0xC004C780 and i get message that my windows cannot be activated at this time.
I had several systems that I had this problem with, but no problem on the others I support. In every case, it was caused by the "Media Center" upgrade being installed. Apparently, the upgrade process is not expecting the upgrade
to be installed, so it fails because it doesn't find the file versions it is expecting, or at least, that seems to be consistent with it's behavior.
Fortunately for me, I also had Windows 8.1 from my "Action Pack" subscription, so I just installed 8.1 over the top of it. However, once the install and required reboot had been accomplished, I discovered that it was no longer activated. I tried
several times to activate the system, but it kept telling me that the "key was invalid for this installation". I scratched my head for a while and then figured out that the product key changed when I upgrade the original installation of Windows 8 to
Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center.
Thinking quickly, I used a copy of "NirLauncher" (e.g. Nirsoft Utilities from nirsoft.net) and from the "System Utilities", I ran the "Produkey" utility to capture the "Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center" product key and pasted it into the activation window
and it worked!
