I've been unable to locate an app that will do this. The Photos app that comes with the phone or iPad has extremely limited duration controls. PhotoStream seems to load everything from my phone or iPad not allowing me to just load up a set group of images.
iPhoto for iPad is getting some terrible recent reviews. I tried a couple other free apps but they don't use Airplay.
I can do something like this with iPhoto and my MB Air, but it's kind of ugly to have the computer open in order to connect by Airplay to my Apple TV. I've thought the iPad or iPhone would be a lower profile controller.
Am I out of luck?

Thanks for your help. Since I'm uninterested in loading all my photos (the only option) into photostream, I won't be able to use the settings in ATV. I guess I'm just stuck with using iPhoto on my MB Air. Thanks again.

Thank you for your reply Domingo. Your suggestion worked as far as sending me a link to buy the book at iTunes. But it did not allow me to download the book from my wife's account. I did finally get an answer from Apple. It took an entire day of emailing back and forth and the final answer was relatively easy once Apple finally decided to give up the solution. Basically, you have to open ibooks and sign out. Then you have to sign into ibooks using the book purchaser's Apple ID and password. Then you can download the book onto your device. Not too bad, huh? It only took a whole day of Apple people sending me wrong instructions before they figured it out. Geez. What a disappointing experience.

You're not talking to Apple by posting here.
WhatsApp is only available for iPhone. It is not up to Apple to change that, it is up to the developer of the app.

Ok so I have an iPod touch 4th gen and I purchased some music on it. I also have an iPad mini and wanted to download it onto there also. Problem is that no matter how many times I try I can't get my purchased music section to load. I get the big at the top where you can select all or not on this iPad and the alphabet down the left hand side and the little loading thingy appears but nothing ever actually loads no matter how long I wait. It also sometimes just crashes the whole thing and kicks me out the app. Any suggestions? I've tried turning device on and off, it has the latest software iOS 7 and I've tried resetting all the settings already also as well as logging in and out of my Apple ID.

You can't, the developers of that app haven't made a version that is compatible with iPads - the version that is in the store can only be installed on iPhones.

I had Skype number purchased in october 2012. which i was using for almost two years. Also used WhatApp for same number. Later i didnt renewed that number in nov 2014 and it expired. Now i got new number and trying to activate whatsapp on it. It's not working. Tried call me option as well. says " You were not called. Please check the nuber i try again'. Tried few times. No luck.
Any option for this? as my previous skype number did worked well with whatsapp i wonder what's wrong now.
Previous number started with area code 323. New number starts with 626.
