Nope. I've already turned off cellular data. It happens regardless, as soon as it is done powering on.
I suspect it might just be built into the phone's firmware to do that... and I have to hit "ignore" whenever it happens, but I just wanted confirmation of that...

Keep getting message "wants access to your keychain" but does not identify what wants access

I keep getting a message "wants access to your keychain" but the process asking is not identified. I think it is a process called usbmuxd which I understand is fine but even when i say allays allow it keeps popping up. Any thoughts?

I want to add a message when I close firefox reminding me not to forget my memory stick

I'm using the latest version of firefox portable on a USB memory stick. It is a fresh install today. I work in different places and I'm worried about leaving my memory stick behind. I was hoping there was some way of adding a notification when I close firefox reminding me to remove my memory stick. I have searched the add on site and forums but cannot find an answer.
Is there an add on that might help?

For Windows computers, write a batch file. The first line would start Firefox.
The rest of the batch should be your reminder. Add a '''Pause''' command
at the end of the batch, or the message will just flash and disappear.

How can I add coverart to my imported CD's. Most of the time I can find them automatically in the itunes store. But sometimes I have to add them by hand.

I'm not sure if the Get Album Artwork feature finds and "adds" artwork to WAV files, but if it does work, the difference is that getting artwork from the Store doesn't embed the artwork into your song file (which is what happens when you manually copy and paste artwork to the file). WAV files do not support embedded artwork.

Hi, I have Win 7, so can only generalize, but I would enter '''Firefox''' into the PCs search box, then right click > Send To Desktop.

I want to add my Norton 2013 toolbar to firefox 12 but it isn't showing in the tools menu

My hard drive crashed and I had to replace it. I had my tech install my windows XP pro and I have installed my other programs. After downloading Firefox 12, I tried to retrieve my Norton Toolbar (It is on IE 8) but I cannot find the Norton Toolbar under tools, toolbars where I had previously found it. Is there another way of getting the Norton Toolbar on Mozilla Firefox and is V12 the most compatible with my OS Windows XP Professional?

Thanks for the input but there must be something wrong with me. I can't locate a norton toolbar anywhere. Tools does not have it nor does the view toolbars have it.

The recommended procedure is to create the presentation on the DMM (upload the video to the DMM) then create a deployment package using the presentation created on the DMM. Once you deploy it to the DMP, the DMM will FTP the video along with presentation files to the DMP which will contain the links to play the video that will be stored locally on the DMP.

To get it on your Mac Pro just copy the aplication from the aplication folder on your MacBook. You can do this via a thumb drive or over a local network connection.

How do I add /usr/local/bin to path

Hi.
I have installed arch linux on a server.
It seems really very good - manged to install latest snort-inline easily...
However (and this is really a completely NOOB question)
- how do I add /usr/local/bin to the default (root) path ?
I have tried to add
PATH=/usr/local/bin
to /etc/enviornment
But it did not show up when using the - env command (after re-logging in)
I know that I could sym link to /usr/bin but i would like to know.
Any help would be good

There's a place for all three of /usr/bin, /usr/local/bin, and ~/bin --- even on Arch.
If you download package whizbang-1.2.3 from some non-Arch site, its installer will often by default try to install its files into the /usr/local hierarchy. When making a PKGBUILD, you want to tell it instead to install into $pkgdir/usr, so that when you install the resulting pkg file with pacman, it goes into the /usr hierarchy. That's what the wiki page is saying: pacman-managed stuff goes into the /usr hierarchy.
/usr/local/* is for files you want to install systemwide without making a PKGBUILD. Your own scripts are a great example. Also you might want to install some compiled files that way, if making a PKGBUILD isn't worth it or you don't have the time to write (*and maintain!*) one.
~/bin is for scripts (could be compiled files too) that you want to only be available to that specific user.

Java library for local search algorithms?

Hi everybody,
Could anyone please help me with the following?
I am looking for a Java library with already implemented local search algorithms. Does such a thing exist? Would anyone recommend one?
I am testing several AI programs and need to select the best parameters for each one (in a relatively large number of experiments). I could write my own search algorithm, of course, but it would be so much easier to use several already implemented algorithms and choose the best one.

Well you can try, but I wouldn't hold your breath to find another rocket scientist in such a place. You may want to go to a forum where rocket scientists congregate in stead. Just a friendly tip.
