I want to authorize this computer but adobe says a previous computer is registered with this email address and is not allowed.

Take a look at the info and tell me if you see "Account Name:" on one of your purchases. And is that associated to your old email address? There has to be a way to fix this or 'transfer' older purchases, especially if it's all under the same real 'account'.

Forgotton second Apple ID with same email address

My email address is linked to multiple Apple IDs but i dont remember the details of the second one, what shall i do? I cannot use my first Apple ID. The one im using now is new one with new email address where i have no contacts.

Two accounts with same email address: TROUBLE!

In experimenting with accounts (to solve a problem involving connecting to different ISPs at different times), I wound up creating a second account with the same email address as my regular one. These were POP accounts. When I realized that wouldn't help me, I deleted the second account. To my surprise, Mail deleted all of my inbox, sent mail and trashed mail. It still showed many, many mails (in those places) with the indication "you must reconnect to the server", but in fact I rebuilt the mailboxes and the mails were truly gone. I think Mail shouldn't have permitted the second account to be created in that way. Loss of mail is pretty serious, and there was no indication to me that I was doing anything wrong. I hope this is fixed in the next version.

I don't know a workaround for that other than to use a different address for the calendar share.

How do I set up another Apple ID with same email address so that my daughter can use game center with her own account?

We have two Ipods and an Iphone. We usually just use my Apple ID for everything on each device. However, when downloading games to the game center, we have to use my Apple Id and then it automatically sets up my game center username on my daughter's Ipod. But she wants to play some of the same games that I do but she can't because my username keeps coming up.
How do I add another Apple ID to the same email address or create another user id for the game center?

Multiple accounts with same email address

We are working on a system where we need a blackberry to access an email account, for example [email protected] - in this case its a POP account. However we are also using a google apps for business account for calendaring where the login is [email protected] We can't add two accounts, one email and one google with the same email address. Is there anyway around this?

Install Photoshop on a second computer with same serialnumber

I would like to install Photoshop on a second computer using the same serialnumber used erlier. Is it possible to install the programe on sereral computers using the same serialnrumber?

If retail CS6 Serial Number then you can do licensed install on two systems same platform(Win or Mac). This depends for which platform you bought the SN for.

Authorizing computer with old email address.

I was trying to put some songs from my computer onto my Itouch. There were some of them that said they weren't available until I authorized my computer. It then listed an old email address that is not my current email address. (My computer is authorized on my current email address.) I can't seem to get around this problem with the songs being associated with an old, defunct, email addy. What to do?

It sounds like you no longer have access to the email address that is also your Apple ID and you cannot remember the password for it. According to the following article you may be able to reset the password either by answering your security questions or sending a password reset email to your rescue email address if you had one setup.
If you forgot your Apple ID password
Answer your security questions
Select “Answer security questions,” then select Next.
Select your birth date, then select Next.
Answer your security questions.
Set a new password and select Reset Password.
Use email authentication
Select “Email authentication,” then select Next. Apple will send the email to your primary or rescue email address.
Open the email and select the link to change your password.
When the My Apple ID page opens, set a new password and select Reset Password.
Use these steps if you didn't get the email or can't find it.

Can not retrieve my password using my email address nor birthday as security question, can not access my purchases to update them even if I creat a new account with same email address, what can I do?

Has anyone had an issue with password and not been able to retrieve it using email nor answering security questions? This is my case, I tred to do both, I do not get any email from Itunes to let me know how to do. If I try to reset it using my security question, which was my birthday, does not work either. I believe someone changed everything for me and I do not know what to do because in oder to update all my purchases I need my original account. Content and Apple IDs -
Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with one Apple ID with a new Apple ID.

and again How does the option launch and using the select library command not work ->
it simply does not accept the copy of the imac library . if i want to choose the library, it is not accepted to be chosen.
so i tried over network to choose the other way round as you suggested (labtop library on the imac) and it worked , but it ruined (as i thought) my original library of the imac ! i could restore it from the back up , BUT this is simply strange, i can not find the restored libary of the imac on it´s original place ! it must be hidden somewhere !

Dear Dominic,
When I try to authorize my laptop, after writing my username and password, I get the message "You can only authorize this computer with an ADOBE ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile devices. Please try again"
That means it doesn't PERMIT me to aythorize my second computer (a laptop) with the same adobe ID (that was used for my first computer, a PC)...
