I want to be able to redirect internet temp files to a different Hard disk

I wanted to redirect internet temp files to a different hard disk?

See:
To open the <i>about:config</i> page, type <b>about:config</b> in the location (address) bar and press the "<i>Enter</i>" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.<br />
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.<br />
*Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
*Preferences that have been modified show as bold(user set).
*Preferences can be reset to the default or changed via the right-click context menu.

  • I want to be able to open up a file (from an app or mobile website) to show a customer, then be able to send it to them.

I want to be able to open up a file (from an app or mobile website) to show a customer, then be able to send it to them. So add a 'Email this file to Client' link that opens up an email with file attached. Is this possible in any of the Adobe Creative Cloud Applications?

Thank you for the feature request.
Besides attaching the file to an email yourself, you can use file syncing and the Send Link feature to email a link to your customer.
File syncing is built into the Creative Cloud desktop application that you use to download and install Adobe desktop applications. Files saved to the Creative Cloud Files folder on your computer are synced up to a cloud file storage. From the Files page in a browser at https://creative.adobe.com/files you can used the Send Link feature.
The email will be sent and received more quickly since no file is attached, and your customer can download the file from the url you share.

  • HT201250 i am using for first time the time machine and an external hard drive because I want to erase my macbook and start from zero files. do i keep my files in the portable hard disk when I connect it again with the macbook or the time machine will era

i am using for first time the time machine and an external hard drive because I want to erase my macbook and start from zero files. Am i keeping my files in the portable hard disk when I will connect it again with the macbook or the time machine will erase all?
I would like to know if after I erase all my data, empy hard drive inside the macbook, the time machine will erase all my files that I have saved in my "WD "My passport" external hard drive

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Time Machine has to erase the external disk in order to make backups. Before setting Time Machine up, copy the files of your external disk to the hard disk of the Mac in order not to lose them, and then, set up Time Machine. The first backup will start automatically.

  • I am using FCPX 10.1.3. and want to duplicate my project, and its complete resources, to a different hard drive.  When I click "duplicate", it automatically duplicates the project in its current hard drive.  How do duplicate to a different hard drive

I am using FCPX 10.1.3. with Yosemite, and want to duplicate my project and its complete resources to a different hard drive.  When I click "duplicate", it automatically duplicates the project in its current hard drive, unlike the previous FCPX that gave you options. How do duplicate to a different hard drive?

Since projects are now stored in events and events are stored in libraries, you need to create a new l;bray on that different drive or open an existing library on that drive. Then duplicate your project and move it to the new library. It will copy the media. Then use the Consolidate Project File command to round up any external assets; there may or may not be any.

  • IE has an option to have internet temp files deleted at exit of IE. Does Firefox have the same setting I can select? How do I get to it.

I would like to have Firefox setup delete internet temp files when I close out the browser. Is there a way to do this. IE allows users to select that as an option thru Internet Options - Advanced Tab but i can not find the option on Firefox.

I have followed the above instructions for clearing cache automatically and have found that the cache is not being deleted on exit from Firefox. Clearing the cache manually appears to work (amount of cache goes to zero). However just closing Firefox does not result in the desired outcome. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Firefox version 7.0.1

  • I am not able to delete or write my files to my external hard disk drive what shall i do?

i am teja i brought a new mac book air here i am not able to write or delete the files that are present in a external hard disk drive what shall i do now to enable required permisions................plz reply me i am new to mac

I guess your external drive is Windows (NTFS) formattet.
By default you were only able to read from that drive, as Mac doesent support NTFS write.
If you want to have read/write access to a NTFS volume you have to use add-in tools like MacFuse or Paragon on your Mac.
Not having write or delete permissions on the external drive may also preventyou from changing existing files on that drive.
Right click on the drive in Finder and choose "Information" from the menu will give you more information about the reasons of your problem.

  • How do you get a jar out of Internet temp files to decompile.  Is Malware.

Using Chrome, I was going to www.semiaccurate.com daily. Today Chrome intercepts with warning page. Me being dumb ass went ahead anyway. My Java console popped up, and I immediately alt-F4 ed, and restarted. Found 1.jar from www.ejdueyhs.com/1.jar in my temp files. Is it possible to get this as an actual file, so I could decompile?
    Jeff Palmer
FYI, I sent note to [email protected], and it did not get returned, but who knows if some will actually look at it.

If you go into the Windows Java control panel, and show temporary internet files, then select resources. It showed a 1.jar as a resource, but a search of the whole C drive found no such file. It must be being renamed. For me that was only a speed bump, since the control panel also listed the URI. I just re-got it myself. I am good now.
    Thanks
    Jeff

  • How can I redirect Batch Report Files to a different directory.

I have a custom version of the Batch Process Model that allows for on the fly report updates. At the end of execution the final report is written. I need to redirect this final report to another directory, but I am having trouble identifying where the report directory is specified. Right now, it is writing in the same directory as the sequence file and I need to change this.

    Hi Terry,
have a look at the following inside the process model TestUUTs (or Single Pass)
    Locals.ModelData.ReportOptions.DirectoryType
    set this to "SpecificDirectory"
    then in
    Locals.ModelData.ReportOptions.Directory
set this to your target directory.
If it's a permanent setting, then I'd suggest updating these values before run time in the report options panel from the Configure menu option.
If it can be determined before the sequence is run, then you could do it as part of the report options callback. Otherwise, slot it in as and when needed, just before the call to the Determine Report File Path and Determine UUT Report File Path steps, although I guess that depends on how much you've modified the process model so far.
    Hope that helps

  • Photos app in my mac is not able to open the iPhoto library from my external hard disk.

I am using iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013) OS 10.10.3. i have 2 iPhoto library one on my Mac HD and the other on my External HD which i primarily use and which has all the latest photos in it. Now with the new update to photos app in Mac i am not able to open the iPhoto library from my external HD. I get the following error message please help.

i am not able to open the iPhoto library from my external HD
How is the external HD formatted? Is the filesystem MAcOS Extended (Journaled) as necessary?
Is theHD directly connected or by a networked connection?
Have you tried to set the "Ignore Ownership on this volume" flag?
See how to prepare the drive for storing an iPhoto Library on it in this document: iPhoto: Sharing libraries among multiple users
Which version of iPhoto created the library? If it was iPhoto 7.1.2 or earlier, download and run the iPhoto Library upgrader.

  • I have macbook pro 13.3 inch ..mac os lion 10.7.5   i want to tranfer data from macbook to external hard disk  without loosing data which in already in extrnl drive

i want to take back up of my macbook . so i have external hard disk around 1 tb and already have 230 used ...when i transfer manually with out time machine ....because i want to tranfer into windows .....so how to change ntfs into fat32 without loosing data in external harddisk ?

You don't have to change NTFS to FAT.
Just install Paragon NTFS and you'll be able to transfer your data to your external HDD even if it is NTFS.

  • Not able to delete file from external hard disk

I connected my external hard disk to my macbook pro. But am not able to delete any file since it says the file cannot be deleted when I move it to trash. Could you let me know how to delete a file from the external hard disk?

How is your HDD formatted? NTFS? FAT?
Did you write files with rights? When you strike +I on any file, you can see its rights; if you're read-only, you may change your file's rights.

I would prefer to answer in your post. as I have tried on two occasions to help.. so far this is the first time I can see you stated  you are using Lion.
    1. Did you download and install the 5.6 utility..?
I said to do it.. you never said yes.. I did that.
Please do it. .. you will get no place before you do.
    2. Did you bridge the TC.. ?
If so it will work perfectly.. please post a screen shot of the summary page from the 5.6 utility. If something is wrong I can work it out from there.
    3. Or ring apple support and get them to walk you through the setup.. there should be phone support for the first week or two.
