I want to buy a blackberry off of eBay...

and i was wondering if it would work out. I mean i would get an unlocked phone..
So i would have to pay $30 for the data plan..? whats included with that and how much of the 'internet' on the phone can i use? 2gb? 25?
Right now i have a samsung reality and so does my mom (i am on the same bill) and i dont get an upgrade until like next year. can i just call verizon to tell them to change my phone, or do i have to wait until i get an upgrade?
aand one laast thing. i know that if i do change to a blackberry, i would automatically be charged for the data plan, but will my mom be able to keep her $10 plan or will she need a blackberry too?
thaaanks. i reeeeeally need thesee to be answered!(:

You would have unlimited data on your phone for 29.99, internet, web, app downloads, email all that
She wouldn't have to have a blackberry too she can keep her line the way it is set up now, keeping her 10 plan as well
Once you get the blackberry you can call vzw and put it on your line without affecting your upgrade date.
The only danger in buying a phone off ebay is the chance that it has been reported lost/stolen and possibly be a bad esn (the risk is pretty low but it does happen)

  • If I buy an ipod off of ebay, can i also buy long warrenty from apple?

I'm not sure if anyone knows the answer to this, but it seems hard to get answers from apple...
If I buy an ipod off of ebay, can i also buy an extended warrenty from apple?

It depends on when the iPod was originally purchased by its original owner.
The Applecare Protection Plan can only be purchased within 1 year of the original purchase date.
Since you are posting in the 5th Gen iPod forum... I'll assume you are looking to purchase a 5th Gen ipod.
If so, then you can buy the APP, since all 5th Gen iPods would be less than 1 year old at this point. They were released late 2005.

Having a BlackBerry device won't allow you to get the full services of BlackBerry phones. In such case your should contact your mobile operator to know how you can get BlackBerry services.

  • I want to buy a song off the US store

I've been after a song for ages but the UK iTunes doesnt have it but the US iTunes does but I've tried buying it off there and am not allowed is there any way to buy the song through the UK site

If you have a UK account but the song isn't on the UK site then you can't buy it and unless you can show some form of residency you cannot buy from another country's store. The question on cross store purchasing is asked frequently so I'll just quote the most complete answer (courtesy of Dave Sawyer) from the many given:
In order to buy from any given country's iTunes Music Store, you must have either:
    a) a credit card with a billing address in that country, or
    b) a mailing address in that country and a gift certificate or a prepaid card that was bought in that country.
If you cannot fulfill one of these two sets of conditions, you will not be able to purchase from any given country's iTMS.
.......this is due to restrictions placed on Apple by the record companies and other rights holders (who are often completely different from country to country and so all require their own individual negotiations and contracts), not by Apple's choice. And this also applies to all the legal download stores that carry major-label content, not just the iTMS.

  • If I wanted to buy certain songs off a deluxe album that require the whole album to be purchased, will I have to pay for the songs I have from the regular album again?

A long time ago, I bought one of Mumford and Sons' regular albums, and more recently, I bought two bonus songs off their deluxe album. The last song on the deluxe album can only be download with a purchase of the whole album. Will I have to repay for all the songs I already have, just to get the one extra?

Unless the album is included in the "Complete My Album" feature:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1849
then yes, you would pay for those tracks again when you buy the entire album.
    Regards.

  • I live in mexico and i want to  buy sing off music, but it tells me that i am only allow to buy in mexico store why?  i what to buy original, this is only pushing me to piracy

i want to buy original sing off street corner symphony , but it tells me that i can only buy in mexican store, that obviously dont care about good music, this is why many people go to piracy, this is a stupid form of seeing internet oportunities

    Hi Luis,
This is Little John from Street Corner Symphony. I'm glad you like our music, but it also ***** that the iTunes store doesn't have it available for sale down there. Unfortunately, Sony is picky about that stuff for some reason. The bad news is, it's not Apple's fault and there's little we can do because Sony's the one holding all the cards.
The good news? We're no longer with Sony, so when we release our first album in a couple months, we should be able to make it available worldwide so you don't have to resort to torrents. Since you did have to resort to torrents to find the Sing-off stuff (I'm not going to make a judgment call, the issue of legality versus morality is not black and white, despite what some other posters want to guilt you into believing), we would appreciate it if you'd help out a little with our fundraising to make our first album. You can find donation information at our website:
    http://www.streetcornersymphony.org
    Hope all's well,
    - John

I want to buy new music off itunes website on my Ipad, i know my email and password, after i have typed them in it asks me for a security questionaire. However i do not remeber the answers, how am i meant to download music as this is stopping me from doing it. I really need help as it is really annoying me! Thank you.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
The most recent BlackBerry models that came out are:

  • Buying iphone off of ebay

Recently, I've been craving over the iphone, and I'm planning on buying one. Do you think it's a good idea buying one off of ebay? Some listings on ebay seem plausible and trustworthy. What do you think?
The new one on the apple site has a hefty price, so I'm opting for the ones on ebay.
Also, am I able to purchase applecare and have warranty on my iphone if I buy an iphone off of ebay?
    Thank you for reading.

The ones on ebay will most likely be more expensive then the ones from Apple Directly.
Applecare can be bought but if the phone is unlocked it will void your Apple Warranty making it null and void. Even if you didnt unlock it, once Apple recieves the phone and sees it was unlocked the will not honor you warranty even if it is due to the past seller

Google can be your friend.  Watch this YouTube video as it appears you can tether a Blackberry to an iPad.

  • If I have a 20.oo gift card balance on my iTunes and want to buy some gems for my treasure diving game does it come off my gift card balance first or off of my visa

If I have a 20.oo gift card balance on my iTunes and want to buy some gems for my treasure diving game does it come off my gift card balance first or off of my visa

I have a credit card on file in my I tunes account, but I have been using gift cards for years. iTunes has never hit my credit card if I had enough money on my account with the gift cards.
The money should be taken from your account, if you have sufficient funds in the account. If your purchase goes over the amount that you have in the account, the entire purchase will be put on your credit card, even if you are only pennies over the account balance.

  • I tried buying an album off the iTunes Store but I didn't know the security question answers. It disabled my account from buying for 8 hours but I want the album by tonight! Help please?!?!

I tried buying an album off of the iTunes Store but I didn't know the security question answers. I reached the limit for the amount of answers and now it disabled my account from buying for 8 hours but I want the album by tonight! Can anyone help?!

If you've disabled your account for 8 hours then you will need to wait until the 8 hours have completed.
When the 8 hours are up, then if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account then you should get a reset link on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6170
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.
Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps on this page to add a rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5620

  • I want to buy apple car protection but I missed the cut off by 12 days. Anything I can do?

I want to buy apple car protection but I missed the cut off by 12 days. Anything I can do? It would be great if Apple reminded me. There's nothing wrong with my laptop and it is well taken care of. I just want the extra protection. Any help?

No, there's nothing you can do at this point.  Note that AppleCare must be a better deal in the long run for Apple than for you, otherwise they wouldn't sell it.  The same is true for all extended warranties.  In the long run, you should spend less paying out-of-pocket for warranty repairs (which don't happen often anyway) than buying AppleCare.  Especially since AppleCare doesn't cover accidental damage.

  • I want to buy the new iPod Nano to play audiobooks. Does it remember the postion where switch-off took place and resume from there? Can one rewind and replay freely?

I want to buy the new iPod Nano to play audiobooks. Does it remember the postion where switch-off took place and resume from there? Can one rewind and replay freely?

    1. Many thanks! I look forward to your revert on being able to freely rewind and replay with the 7th Gen iPod Nano.
    2. Re resuming from the position where one left off - I meant after switch-off and not merely pause. Often, with audiobooks, I have to stop for the day, and resume maybe after 1-2 days. I'll be grateful if you can check this too
    3. The above features make the iPod Classic a joy to use, but I have reservations about using it on walks because of its HDD.
    4. Greatly appreciate the trouble you are taking. Best regards.
