Yes! As long as you don't delete your project files/library, you'll be fine. When you install the full version, it might create a new library, go to your movies folder or wherever your current library is and just double click it to open it.

just got an offer from a private Person, who owns a boxed Version of Photoshop CS4 (DVD) and an Upgrade from CS4 to CS6....he told me that he can transfer the current license to me... now there's one important question for me...
Is there any possibility to check his Adobe-ID (which he already told me) if it's the same adress, name,etc. as he told me...

Old versions of Photoshop are not marketed by Adobe. Only CS5 can be upgraded to CS6. There are many scams on the web if you find a cheap copy of Photoshop out there its most likely a scam... Be careful.....

I'm an English photographer living in France with an iMac 27" and have downloaded the trial version of Final Cut Pro X which was in French.
the trial period has now ended, and i want to buy the product.
so my question is will i get a choice to change language if i buy from the app store, or will it automatically install the language version already installed.
It's very important that i get the english version.
Or is their a way of changeing language once the soft is installed.

FCPX is multi-lingual and uses your System's setting language.
so, set your OS to English and presto/voila/bingo ... English interface.-

The serial number is what you pay for not what’s on the DVD as that is the same as what can be downloaded.
Boxes can be stolen and the serial-numbers they have can be blacklisted by Adobe when they discover the theft, so I’d be suspicious of boxes of Adobe software from a non-Adobe-reseller so be careful.
I’d suggest you buy a CS6 serial-number from Adobe, themselves, and download CS6 from Adobe or ProDesignTools, which links to Adobe’s servers.

I live in rural New Zealand and want to buy the student version of cs6, but can only find the CC version. I have very unreliable and slow internet access so CC is not an option for me.

I've installed a trial version of Premiere Elements 8 and I would like to buy it. When Premiere starts up a window pops up where I can continue the trial version, enter a serial number, or buy a serial number online. When I click the Buy online link, I am directed to a page where you can purchase the product for downoad or shipment in a box, but it also says the following:
Already have a trial version of Adobe Premiere Elements 8 installed on your computer? Continue using the product uninterrupted by clicking the Buy button within the trial to purchase — no need to reinstall the product.
But I can't find that Buy button. Can anyone tell me where that button is?

Platform: Windows
Language: English or whatever is appropriate
Delivery Method: Download or Ship the Box to Me, you select Download
Next, did you click on Add to Cart?
If not, click on Add to Cart and see where that takes you
I tried to find (via Adobe online chat) the sequence of events after hitting Add to Cart, but got no where quick.

b. Hit Add to Cart which I am almost sure will lead to a sequence of events to get the purchase complete
You do all this if you have the tryout version installed, do not want to uninstall it, but want to purchase whatever is already installed. But, remember there are two different versions Premiere Elements 8 and Premiere Elements 8 with the extended photoshop.com features. Make sure you order the right one. One is more expensive than the other.

Want to use Premier Pro and After Effects but don't want to buy CC

I have CS6 Design/Web Premium standalone edition and want to add Adobe CS6 Premier Pro and CS6 After Effects Standalone to the group.
I've downloaded the trial versions of Premier pro and After Effects to get me past this recent job issue, but I may need to purchase it after the trial runs out.
If the job I've got pending does not pan out I'll go back to using Final Cut X and Motion.
But if it does pan put I'll want to buy the standalone versions as I'm not into Hacking and Kracks.
I do not like the idea or want to "upgrade" to CC so please no suggestions about this.
Any clues. For some reason I'm not able to ask Adobe directly as they do not appear to supply and email address to be contacted, and I'm now on this forum sharing my questions to the community.
Anyone out there with an idea to help in this regard?

Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
