i want to change my icloud account but when i do it says "turn Find your iphone" when i do that it says "There was a problem deregistering this iphon wit icloud. try again . what is the problem and how to fix it ??

Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

BUT I get a message saying that if I delete my account it will remove all data from iCloud! Which is not what I want as I want to continue to use my iCloud on my iPhone and remotely.
There is no option in settings for changing the iCloud account, so it looks like you need to delete the one you have in there and set up a new one .

First, turn off using iCloud for your contacts. Go to:
Settings --> Mail, Contacts, Calendars --> (your iCloud account)
Switch "Contacts" to OFF.
You should get a dialog box asking you if you want to keep the contacts on the phone or not -- choose the option to keep them.
Now you can delete the iCloud account but retain the contact information.

Have you got 'Find My iPad' enabled? This has to be turned off using the original ID address.
Try going back to http://appleid.apple.com and changing the ID back to the original address. If you can get this accepted, then go to the iCloud preferences/settings pane, stop 'Find My ....', and then sign out. Do the same on any other devices or computers.
Then go back to http://appleid.apple.com and change the ID to the new one. Sign in with that on all your devices.
However if the address which forms the original ID is now not working it can't be validated and it's possible that you won't be able to revert to it. In this situation only Support can help you.

Your iCloud account ID and password are the AppleID and password you used when you created the account. As fromsouth says, change the password for the AppleID and you've changed it for your iCloud login. You can also change the primary email address of that AppleID if you need to.

Hello,
If you have made any positings then you cannot change the reconciliation account or vice versa.
However, messages can be switched off in OBA5 & OBMSG. I would recommend not to switch off this message.
You can create a new account instead making change to an account which is already having postings.

I upgraded my phone to ios 7, but it keeps asking me for an iCloud account password that I can't remember. I know longer have access to the email account that its linked to and the security question for my birthdate is incorrect. I am trying to change my iCloud account, but it tells me I have to accept the terms and conditions first, however when I try to accept them, it says "Unable to connect to server."

Ok, so I changed the name of my account, but the phone was still looking for the old name. I was instructed to login to my apple id, change the name back to the old name, then go into the phone and type the password to delete the account. Then I should be able to log back in to my apple id and change it back to the correct email and username. After that, I can go back to the phone and add my account to sync them both up.

If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. You can now go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your correct iCloud ID and password.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to have them reset the password so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account. You can either go to https://expresslane.apple.com, select "More Products and Services", then "Apple ID", then on the next page select "Other Apple ID Topics", then "Lost or forgotten Apple ID password" and click "Continue"; or you can contact Apple Support (http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/).
