I want to change my name on my outgoing ID. I want to use my professional name rather than the name i use only for legal purposes as that is how people know me

my friends and clients know me as Jeanette Vonier
this is also on all my bank accounts
I use my birth name Jeanette Stringham only for legal documents and credit cards.
I prefer to have my professional name Jeanette Vonier show as my id on messages.
however the thunderbird mail through gandhi.net inserted the professional id instead and I cannot figure out how to change that. as a consequence my emails may be flagged as spam or go unopened.
please advise how I may correct that and change the name showing up.

The way to change what ever people see when they get your email is to set up your email the way you want to. '''Modzilla''' defaults to the name that you use for your computer.
'''Open Modzilla''' go to tools then '''account settings''' When that page opens you will see your name as it appears on your email and your email address you can change any of this if you want and even create a signature which can be really cool if you know some basic HTML

How can I show the name in the list of new messages rather than the address

I have noticed something weird in Apple mail. In the list of new messages, the FROM field sometimes shows the email address rather than the name of the sender (even if that sender is in my address book). Because of this, when I search for some users, I can search by name but for others I must search by email address. However, in the FROM field when I actually open the message, the full name is always in the field rather than the email address (if the contact is in my address book at least).

(notice that in the message list it says from [email protected] but in the message view below, it says from Tony XXXX
My question is: Is there any way to display the actual name in the FROM field in the list of new messages rather than the email address, in the same way it is displayed when I actually open the message? I can't seem to find any settings that fix this.

However, because I modified the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast and nothing changed, I redirected it to another feed and then I deleted this feed.
Is there any way to change the feed in itunes? The only feed I have now is http://feeds.feedburner.com/CasaEgyptStation
I tried to restore the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast but feedburner refused.
I know that I missed things up but I still have hope in working things out.

Apple changed my Apple ID to the email address associated with my iTunes account. I now can no longer access my account because the old user name is no longer valid and has no password. I have been on the phone with tech support for hours trying to fix.

It's a really bad idea to post your email addresess - it's an invitation to spam - and I've asked the Hosts to remove them.
This is a user-to-user forum and no-one on here can take any direct action. If your Yahoo address is not working that's something you would need to take up with Yahoo - have you checked it by sending yourself an email to it?
Otherwise you will need to contact Support: go to https://expresslane.apple.com/ and click on 'iTunes' in the center column and then 'iTunes Store' in the right-hand column and proceed from there.

You should be able to change your rescue address by going to My Apple ID, signing in to manage your ID, then selecting the the Password and Security section, and answering the two security questions. Display description of report rather than the technical name

Hi all
I have made a few reports using the Bex report designer that have been emailed to end users by the bex broadcast facility as a PDF
However, when end users receive the email the attached PDF received has the technical name rather than the description.
Does anyone know how to change this so that end users receive the PDF with the description rather than the technical name.

Yes the DOS 8.3 shortname format is the only accepted for the ThinkVantage button registry key.
One general way to obtain DOS 8.3 formats from a path except from DIR /x in a CMD window is to use execute a VBSCRIPT file that uses the FileSystemObject class
If you save the following sample vbscript code to a text file with .vbs extension and open it in file explorer it will write the short path of LSC.exe to a file text file named "Path_DOS83.txt":

Depending on exactly what you want to do, there are a couple of ways of handling this. You may want to access teh user guide for some ideas: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/ipad_user_guide.pdf
In particular, check the sections on Customizing iPad and Settings > Restrictions.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

You can do it, though the result isn't ideal. Import your episode, then select it in the Music list and hit command-i to bring up the info panel:

What is the problem with iCloud? iCloud has nothing to do with iTunes syncing.
