You can't do that, you'll need to change the password on your Wi-Fi and then change the settings on the Apple TV to log into your network again using the new password.

Sorry, but if you have forgotten the password for your encrypted backup, you'll have to start all over again:
Make sure that the password you use is one that you'll remember. If you encrypt an iPhone backup in iTunes and forget your password, you won't be able to restore from backup, and your data will be unrecoverable.
If you can't remember the password and want to start again, you must perform a full software restore and choose set up as a new device when iTunes prompts you to select the backup from which to restore.

You should contact Apple by phone as soon as possible. You'll need to change your Apple ID and all passwords.

I finally figured out the answer to my own question. I created a new iCloud account on my Mac. Problem solved!

If disabled because of a passcode, and you have not synced AFTER setting the passcode, you will have to force the phone into recovery mode & restore it as a new device. All data on your phone will be erased:
Turn your phone off. Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new. In your case, setup as "new" will be your ONLY option.

just check the SAP services through services.msc and check with what user it is maintained.It must be with SAPserviceSID,if it is with <sid>adm then you will need to change the password here
else there must be no impact

Changed the Shared Secret, and now VPN doesn't work...

Hello all. So our VPN was working fine. I changed the Shared Secret, and it stopped working. Seems like any Shared Secret now that I use doesn't work, and I've been triple-checking it on both the server and clients to make certain that it's not miss-typed.
It seems to connect OK, but then it fails to authorize. I've got the proper ports open, and again, it worked just fine with the first Shared Secret I used.
Is there something I'm missing about Shared Secrets here? You should be able to change them when you need too, right?

Looking at the logs I'm seeing something strange that I don't understand. It appears that one part of the authorization is succeeding, and another part failing:
"DSAuth plugin: Could not authenticate key agent for encryption key retrieval."
Then, two lines later:
"CHAP peer authentication succeeded for USER"
"DSAccessControl plugin: User 'USER' authorized for access"
But then the client never shows that it's authorized. So is this a problem with the client configuration, since the server is showing an authorized session starting, or is there something wrong with the DSAuth Plugin?

Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

I just bought a new iMAC. I want to set a password. But, the system seems to think I already have one set, and I don't know what it is. How do I reset this feature, so that I can set a password, without knowing the current password?

Have you yet, during setting up the new iMac, transferred old data and settings from an external hard drive or another computer? If so, then your computer obtained its current set Password from that tranfer, so you would have to determine what that Password was in the old system. If you have Not transferred any information that way, then the installation and/or setup seem to have corrupted somehow since it hasn't yet received a new system Password selection from you.
At this point, if you can, you can reboot while holding down the Command - R keys to boot into the Mountain Lion Recovery Partition. There you can select to "Reinstall Mountain Lion from the Internet". This will overwrite your current installation and any problems that have occured and give you a fresh install that hopefullywill allow you to set up without problems.
