I want to connect outboard speakers without using USB

I don't presently have a USB out board amp but would like to connect to my Imac for better sound with outboard speakers.

on the back of the imac look at the image

connect the 3.5mm minijack connector of the external speakers with that
usb don't really carry audio at all so all audio devices you connect with usb are really full audio cards which use drivers and also use more proccessing power then using the internal audio system so it's really better to connect using the audio output port on the back of your imac

Windows 8.1 laptop cannot connect to the internet using USB Mobile Broadband stick.

I bought a new laptop and it came with Windows 8.1 installed. Well, things worked perfectly until I wanted to connect to the internet using my mobile broadband USB stick. I installed the software that came with the stick, and my laptop recognize
the stick but I still cant connect to the internet. The stick workes perfect in my Windows 7 and Windows 8 laptops, but IT DONT CONNECT WITH MY WINDOWS 8.1 LAPTOP. What can I do to troubleshoot this???

If you haven't already, verify that you can connect to the internet through some other means such as Wi-Fi or Ethernet with your laptop to rule out any network setting issues. If you are able to connect successfully to the internet, use that opportunity
to make sure you have
Windows 8.1 Update installed as well as any other applicable updates your laptop may require.
You may also want to check the
Windows Compatibility Center to make sure that your device is compatible with Windows 8.1.
Another possibility is that the driver your laptop is installing for the device isn't the correct one. Check the device manufacturer's site for the most up to date driver they have available for Windows 8.1.

Sometimes it can be something very simple and easy to fix. Before you get into any involved troubleshooting, quit iTunes, restart your Mac, restart your iPad and then try to sync again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If this doesn't work, then try the more involved stuff.

The Apps usually only work with wireless printers, though if its free, there is no harm in trying, and see if it gets picked up, but its doubtful, as the print server would need to transmit in the same protocol the Brother Print App is expecting from the supported wireless printers.

Please see this KB (along with the links within) for some instructions. Unfortunately, it does not appear to be written for the latest 6.0 Desktop Software. But, the 6.0 features discussed in this KB seem to say that the feature remains. Since I don't use that function myself, I've got no direct guidance for you.

Recently i bought a new Mini Router Huawei 4G LTE E5732 Router, it was connected easily using WI-Fi to my Mac (MacBook Pro Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013)
installed the latest update OS X Yosemite 10.10.2, I tried to be connected through the USB port on the Mac using USB connection in the Network option on the System preferences, but i was surprised that there is no such a choice !!
Please can anyone help me, it is affecting my job !

How can i connect the printer without a usb?

I have recently changed my internet provider and have tried to reinstall the printer software but it wont find the printer and says that i need a usb cable which i dont have. Can i connect the printer without one? Its a photosmart all-in-one c4380 printer.

Have no idea, no model number of printer. You can always buy a USB Printer cable.

I had this problem when connecting my iphone 4 to my retina MacBook Pro. The phone was running ios 6 but I updated it to ios 7 and since then it works fine with no problems. Try updating it to the latest software and see does that help!

If you have a router connect an Ethernet cable from the cable/DSL modem to the WAN port on the router. Connect another Ethernet cable from one of the router's LAN ports to the Ethernet port on the computer. Open Network preferences, select the Ethernet port and click on the Advanced button. Click on the TCP/IP tab then select DHCP from the Configure IPv4 drop down menu. Click on the Apply button.
Turn off the computer, router, and modem. Wait at least one minute. First, turn on the modem and wait until the status lights indicate connection to your ISP. Second, turn on the router and wait until the status light shows communication with the modem. Last, turn on the computer.
If you do not have a router, then do the same as the above except that the Ethernet cable connects from the modem's Ethernet port to your computer's Ethernet port.

Question about connecting to internet without using Wi-Fi

This is a potentially dumb question, but I am a brand-new iPhone user and former Treo user, so I am used to a different set-up when it comes to connecting to my mobile carrier's data network. I can successfully connect my iPhone to my wireless (airport) network, but when I'm out on the street, I thought that the AT&T data network would pick up where the wireless left off. But, nothing happening. I'm used to the Treo having a VPN settings page. On my iPhone, there are no VPN configurations. I signed up for a data plan with AT&T, so I thought they would have configured the phone with the settings. Can anyone fill me in on some missing information? Thanks!
