I want to create a cutaway using photos for the a-reel
I'm making a photo slideshow and want to use the audio portion of a video clip under some of the photos. I can get the cutaway feature to work when I drag a video onto a video, but when I try to drag it onto a group of photos, it splits then instead of covering them. It doesn't seem to matter in what order I try to add them (meaning, which I try to drop on the other)--they're just not mixing. Please help!

I have just upgraded to OS X Mavericks. It wanted me to upgrade my 20000 photos before the New iphoto could use them. I did. 43.6GB of photos became 1.8GB of very small photos of arounf 178KB instead of 2.5MB. Can't do anything with them. Help?
The obvious and simple solution is to restore from the back up you made before upgrading.
Other than that you'll need to give us a lot more detail. Mavericks doesn't ask you to upgrade your Photos, upgrading to a later iPhoto asks you about upgrading the Library. Where is the library? What version were you upgrading from? Anything else you can tell us that might help understand the problem you're having. -

How can i do this requirement, any help?You do not need to create a custom web part if you need to show the latest question and then display result in graphical way. The Survey list gives that OOTB.

I mostly work on Mac desktop, but use a Macbook Pro on trips. Due to limited HD space on the latter, I want to create a library of part of the images on the Mac, to be used on the Macbook. I do not however want to remove these images from the Mac library.
Choose one or more Projects, and then use Export as New Library (from File). The resulting export will be a fully functioning Aperture Library to either transfer and open on the Macbook Pro, or to Import into a library you already have on the MBP.

How can I send a text message to send at a later time? This is somethign my basic phone was able to do. I can't even find an app for that! They all seem to just give you alerts to remind you to send a text at a given time. Any help or advice?
