I want to create a form in IWeb can you help?
I need to create a form page in Iweb on my website for visitors to complete and submit back to me.
A Club membership application form.
Anyone able to help??
There are online form sites that you can use like JotForm, Wufoo, etc. Jotform creates some very nice looking forms which you can embed into an iWeb page. The free package gives you 100 submissions per month and 10 SSL secure submissions per month. Over those numbers you will need to pay a monthly fee.

Or you can create your own Form Action form which uses the visitor's own email client to send the information. This is not best integrated method to obtain the information. An example of this type of form is also on the page linked to above.

I want to be able to fill out the form and it place itself into Sheet 1 without changing everytime. I can index the array from the form, but it changes everytime.You think it would be the other way around.
Just speculation, but forms probably came to iOS first because of likely use for data entry in the field that syncs back to the Mac. On a small screen with a touch interface, forms make inputing values easier.
On the Mac, with its bigger screen, typing directly into a data table often works well enough.

Unfortunately Formscentral does not support drag and drop pictures into your form. If you want to form filler submit their images with other form data, you can use file attachment field. Add an file attachment field when design form, so that form filler can add their image file into it and submit with other form data.

Wanting to downgrade to Snow Leopard. Can you help?
I like Lion in many ways and it has some nice features, but I have been having wifi trouble, programs not working, safari acting wonky, etc. since installing Lion. Can someone give the tips, etc needed to downgrade to Snow Leopard until Lion's bugs are ironed out? Is it doable? Will it cause other problem? Is it very time consuming? Thanks!
I got into Mac's in 2006 to escape all the Windows troubles... Lion so far is giving me flashbacks. Whew!

P.S. BTW, my iPhone 4 has no wifi since uprading. I did the Lion upgrade and the iPhone 4.3.4 upgrade on the same day.Backup ALL your Users folders manually to a external drive and disconnect, your going to be wiping the entire disk (Windows files too)
Hold c and boot off the 10.6 installer disk that comes with your computer and second screen in just STOP.
Look at the Utilities Menu for Disk Utility.
On the left is the name of your hard drive maker, click it and Erase (format HFS+ Journaled), give it the same name as before, and click Erase...
This should wipe the drive of all three partitions (GUID, OS X and 10.7 Recovery)
When it's done, quit and install OS X 10.6. Then install all your programs from fresh sources and validate/update.
Update OS X to 10.6.8 using the Combo Update for best results.

When you setup a account, use the same user name as before, this way you can simply drag and drop your Users folders right back in and everything should work peachy.
If your original machine had 10.5 and you want the free iLife that comes with the disks with the computer, then you'll have to install 10.5 first, then 10.6, then Combo Update.
A lot of people use a Carbon Copy Clone of their boot drive to a HFS+Journaled external drive as a "hold the option key" bootable backup in case something goes bad. (in addition to TimeMachine for more immediate backups.)
If the above doesn't work, then I would suggest trying to restore your machine to a TimeMachine saved time without Lion. If that doesn't work then I would try doing what the above directions state, but going to the Apple Icon and selecting StartUp then choosing your bootable disk. -
I want to create a form in Acrobat XI Pro, but if I try to do a new form, it opens Forms Central.
I don't want to create a form in this application since it is going away. How do I get around that? Is there some way to turn off that option so I can create the form directly in Acrobat Pro? !
Thanks! That will help. I didn't want to start to recreate this form in another app. It is one I created in Live Design before we upgraded and I lost that app. Now I cannot edit the form anymore so I need to start over. This way I can just re-create what I already had.

I want to create a form with a manager completing one section and a staff member another. Neither should be able to edit the others. Can different sections be password protected by different passwords? I'm thinking there might be an "official use only" function.

My computer went crazy yesterday on two occasions involving PDF documents. One dealt with attachments to an email from a bona fide corporation. The other dealt with IRS PDF forms & schedules needed for today's submission.
As both dealt with PDF and had nothing else in common, I suspected my PC had a virus. When I asked a local store technician, he agreed. I turned to Norton, which protects my PC from viruses, and after a few hours of really thorough searching, the computer was found to have no viruses.
Before describing what I call "crazy" computer behavior, you need to know that I have long had IE8 as my default browser but a few weeks ago switched to Mozilla Firefox because IE8 had beome incompatible with some websites from which I get information.
When I received the email from AT&T email service and clicked the first of four icons representing attachments, there was figuratively an explosion on my monitor: a series of new tabs, each called New Tab, burst onto the monitor--but no text or picture. The new tabs appeared faster than I coul kill them. I finally decided just to shut down the computer, hoping they would not reappear when I restarted. I was wrong. After 2 repeats, I decided to forget about the attachments and asked the sender to send them to me by regular mail.
That was no solution for my IRS PDFs. I wanted to complete filling in the various forms and schedules that I had begun months ago so that I could mail them today to the IRS (without having to copy them all in ink). When I tried to open the first one, BOOM. The same thing happened: the blizzard of New Tabs atop blank pages; my IRS form or schedule did not show up. Did the same shutdown/restart routine with the same results.
When I looked at the list of current forms that had to be completed, I noticed something very strange: the icons that began the listing of the documents' names were replaced one by one by Mozilla icons. When I moused over them, they said Firefox HTML. Why?
Starting the day today, I had the same experience. What's more, when I started to retrieve 2012 IRS PDFs from a year ago, the same New Tab tabs appeared and had to be killed, and Mozilla icons replaced whatever icon was there before.
Assuming that the problem arose with Adobe Reader's reading of the PDFs, I contacted Adobe but got no helpful phone number because PDFs are a free service and was directed to use this Forum to get help.
What do I have to do to (a) read and use PDFs in the normal way and (b) remove the Mozilla icon from those that have appeared on icon documents. If Mozilla is the source of the problem, shall I go back to IE8? (In my 80s, I want eventually to replace my old computer but for the time being I must continue using it. It will not take an IE9. Anther possible default browser would be Google Chrome, but I have unfavorable impressions of it because of its intrusiveness, loading my PC with stuff I do not need.
Can you help?The problem is absolutely not Reader. The problem is that FireFox has stepped in front of Reader and handles all the PDF stuff - wrongly in your case. FireFox is DESIGNED to take over PDF files. But it is not capable of doing IRS forms!
To start with go back to IE for these forms. When you save them to disk DO NOT DOUBLE CLICK ON THEM until this is fixed. Just open the in the normal way - start Adobe Reader and use Open from the File menu. -

Yes. I would clarify your statement about the "shared" iTunes Library though. If you want each iOS device to have its own music library, you should create separate user accounts for them. Read:

with your iPhone connected to your computer, open itunes, under devices, select your phone. in the main window, on the top right, select photos. be sure sync photos fron iPhoto is chosen in the drop down list, and sync all photos is selected, or you new album has a check next to it if you are selectively sync'ing.

???Yes. You can add forms to you page which send you emails with the information the visitor put in the form. There are two types, one that you create with Form Action Code that you create and put in an html snippet, Form Action comment form, and more sophisticated forms that are created at a 3rd party site and embedded into a page with an HTML snippet and iFrame code as in this demo page: Embedding Forms & Encoding Email Addresses. With the second method you can set the form to any color combination you'd like. Another example of the Wufoo type is at the bottom of this demo page: QT Movie w/o Quicktime.

It seems like the best way to do this would be to make a playlist from just the one song that you want listen to while falling asleep. Our iPad User Guide explains exactly how to do this:

Create a playlist: View Playlists, tap New near the top of the screen, then enter and save a name. Select songs and videos to include, then tap Done.

There are two ways. Here's how to get what you want: got to your twitter profile and under all the people you're following on the right, where it says something about an rss feed click that link. BUT!!! before you do hold down command (Apple key) and shift and keep holding them down as you click it. A screen should flash up, but only for a second , at that time, while holding down Command and shift press 3 (the one above the letters) this takes a screenshot. Go to your desktop and find "Picture 1" Open it and look at the URL. Now open iWeb and go to you're RSS widget type in the URL and then custimize as you'd like.

I'm using FF on another computer, and pages that I have used in the original have opened, except for Twitter. I give the PW and the message for saving the password appears, but Twitter's HP page doesn't open, instead the registration page is the one that does... I have tried with another system and the page opens, so I know the problem isn't Twitter's, but FF's... can you help me? I want to open Twitter here...
This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.
