I want to create a new photo album in iweb

Help!! I have forgotten how to create a new photo album in my albums page and cannot locate where to find out how. I don't want to just slide an album from iphoto to iweb, but want to use several photos from several iphoto libraries. I know it's simple, but arrrgh !!

Albums are created in iPhoto and then dragged onto the albums page template in iWeb.
Either that or create a page using a Photos template. See this page about the problems with the slideshow...

I have a phot gallery on my iweb created website. I created new albums before but can never rember how I did it. From memory I tried dragging a number of pictures over to the gallery page and tried to drop them on the page..once with and once without using the command key - as that's how I thought it was done. When I create a new photo album in Iphoto it adds all my photos in the library

I love my macbook pro but still not fully understanding Iphoto. When I create a new photo album and drag photos over from a disk it seems to add all photos from my library. When I remove them it removes them from all the albums. HELP!

Add the photos from your disc to iPhoto, then drag them from the iPhoto Event or photos to the Album.
You can delete photos from the Album without removing them from the computer. If you delete them in the Photos or Events area, they are removed from iPhoto, therefore taking them out of the Album.
The photos have to be in iPhoto to exist in an Album. They cannot exist in an Album and not be in iPhoto..

How old is your Mac? If it's very recent you need to update via the App Store
If you purchased at the App Store you need to update via the App Store
Otherwise you update via Softare Update

Long story short, I made a backup using TimeMachine of my iMac. I got my MBA which was being repaired and i restored from backup. Everything works fine, except for iPhoto which is not saying:
"You have made changes to your photo library using a newer version of iPhoto. Do you want to quit and use the latest version of iPhoto, or do you want to create a new photo library?"
I have OS X 10.7.2 and iPhoto 9.1.4. I've tried:
Repairing permissions
Deleting iPhoto, installing agaian, and updating
Repaired iPhoto Library (stays stuck at 98% when rebuilding database)
I've also tried iPhoto Library manager which cannot even see the library
Tried restoring from backup from iPhoto and it messed up library (I still had my backup)
Quite frustrating - any ideas on how to get iPhoto back to life?

Dunno why Software update was not displaying the latest version of iPhoto (9.2.1 as of January 27, 2012)...updating to this has fixed the issue

how do i create another photo album in photos? the one that i have right now say PHOTO LIBRARY. that is the one in sync with i-tunes. how do i make another album to organize my photos because hundreds of my photos are all in one folder.

I have a Mac and use Apple's iPhoto application to import, store, organize and view all digital photos with a layout and organizational structure similar to that used by iTunes. I create and make use of albums with iPhoto to sort photos by category and have access to all photos in each album or not associated with an album by selecting the main iPhoto library. The similar with iTunes is the entire music library and the ability to create and utilize music playlists. All iPhoto albums are made availble to select individually under the photos tab for my iPhone sync preferences or I can transfer all photos imported into iPhoto over the last 12 months or the most recent import only or my entire library of photos.
Long story short, a Mac with iPhoto makes this process extremely easy but to answer your question, you need to create the additional folders or albums inside of this existing folder which contains all photos being transferred to your iPhone.

Plug your phone up to your computer in itunes... click on devices, then your iphone, at the top of your itunes, beside of summary you will see photos, click on photos... untick or uncheck the albums you don't want on your device then sync... you can do the same for vidoes, music etc...

i have read a few different posts and finally realized that albums can only be created on your PC then transferred to your phone, or by using an app. but im not sure how to do that. i have a ton of photos on my computer but dont want them all on my phone, if someone could help that would be great. or if you are someone who uses an app and knows of a good one that works well that would be good too

The pics sync ( photo library - pics synced to iphone from computer) is one way - computer to iphone.
Your camera roll pics ( pics taken with/saved from iphone) are imported to your computer as you would from any digital camera.

i actually just did that, shortly after i posted my question, i thought i would try it while waiting for a response.
i sync'ed the photos to my computer. created my folders and put those pictures in them. then resync'ed my phone in itunes and chose the various folders to sync. but the "folders" did not sync back to my phone. everything is still in 'camera roll'.
i just want the pics in folders on my phone so i can find pictures easier!
why are there all those spaces under camera roll if it won't let u have more than one folder!? i'm so frustrated! do i have to purchase iphoto or something?

Photos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. Import the photos with your computer and create an albums or albums for select photos and the same with any other photos on your computer followed by transferring the album or albums to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process. This is selected under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes. You cannot create photo albums on the iPhone.

You need to create them on your computer, then sync them to your ipod.

New photo albums not appearing in iTunes

I upgraded to IOS6. Now when I create a new photo album in iPhoto it does not appear in iTunes when I sync my iPad. I am now no longer able to add photo albums to my iPad. I do not want to use the cloud to manage my photos. Anyone else encounter this problem?
