I have recently created an apple ID account but when i go to purchase a free item it tells me to review the account and i have to put in my credit card details. is there a way where i dont have to enter them?

that did use to be the case but ios 8 you can create a child's Apple ID which will stay linked to the main Apple ID until they are 13 when they can if you wish take over the Apple ID themselves.
I Have the same question regarding creating an Apple ID for my son but it insists I have to add a credit card to prove I'm an adult.
thing is I don't have another card to add to my Apple ID I have been using the same card for all my family's Apple purchases i just update my details when I get issued a new one.
Any ideas or suggestions greatly accepted.

So you are trying to change the account from India to the Uk right...? Cause it wont accept UK card if you're trying to keep it for India...

You should really read the manual.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.

What's the full error message that you are getting ? And (though from the same bank) the credit card is the same type as your wife's ? The card was issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are ?

Nonesense, why would a service that offers redeemable cards as cash would require a credit card verification. Who is answering this question? I am sick of Apple! It is my understanding that such credits can be used for US purchases of any online content, including music, apps, and movie rentals. Are such cards sold in your area?
