I want to delete a downloaded program. but i get an error message that it is open.

So I downloaded this app from the internet. I didnt buy the full program. I took the trial program. I do not like it and want to delete it. Ive tried dragging it to the trash and I also tried to delete it from my applications folder. However now I'm getting a message that the program is open so I can not delete it. So HOW do I delete this program?? Its not opened! And if it is how do I close it? HELPPPP PLEASE

Click the Apple icon and choose Force Quit. Find the name of the program you're trying to delete and force quit it. Now you should be able to throw it out.

Because the location for each song in your library is on your hard drive. If the hard drive isn't there, how can iTunes play it?
You'll have to move/copy the music from your hard drive to your computer's hard drive.
Basically, EASIEST way to do all this, if you don't care about your play counts, etc...
-Delete EVERYTHING from iTunes, so that your library is now empty.
-Go to "Advanced" inside of the "Preferences" window, found in the "Edit" drop-down. You can also access Preferences by pressing Ctrl+, (Press Ctrl and the comma key)
-Change your iTunes Media Folder Location to something simple, but on your computer. I use C:/iTunes. Make sure "Keep iTunes Media Folder Organized" and "Copy files to...." are both checked. You can close Preferences now.
-Now, drag and drop your music from your hard drive into your iTunes library. iTunes will automatically add the music to your library, as you would expect, and also creates a copy of each file to place into that iTunes Media Folder you just created.
Shouldn't have any more problems...

The CC Cleaner Tool assumes the Akamai Download Manager is activated and it has not. You can't import MPEG-2 files directly to FCP X.
Can you play this file in Quicktime Player? If so, then you can use the free program MPEG Streamclip to convert this to Quicktime. Use the ProRes codec.

I find the Air easier to work with if I need a keyboard if, for no other reason, that's more compact to carry around than the iPad and a keyboard, even one that is part of an iPad case. I also often have to access data from one application when using another, and iOS is not at its best when having to do rapid application switching (Command-Tab switching is a lot faster than the double press home, scroll the icons at the bottom and swap).
As well, for editing I find the lack of sandboxing on OSX allows for efficiency enhancing utilities across applications, something you don't get in iOS. I understand the reason for that, but while more secure it also creates issues of its own in terms of usability in a number of situations.
I prefer the iPad for totally single application focused situations where little or no input is required. I use my iPad to hold copies of manuals when I'm doing a full day continuing education presentation for CPAs. A MacBook Aire can't really fill in very easily for that usage.
I see them each as tools appropriate for different jobs.

It suggests the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

Wild guess but if your WinXP system has formatted your drive(s) as FAT32 then the maximum file size is 4GB. Could be that the download in 1080p is >4GB? (if formatted NTFS then this should not be a problem).

If you don't already have the "Google Toolbar" why would you want it, it is a problematic extension as are most third party toolbars. I would expect that anything that just about anything that you would use it for can be done with a bookmarklet. As for searching, the builtin Firefox search bar is wonderful you can add or create search engines for it.
