Hello, I have so much Podcasts in my Podcast-App.
I want to delete all Podcastepisode-Downloads in one step!
Long time ago this was possible in the Music-App.

Change the default settings on the app to manually download.
Then delete the App
Then reinstall it and change the settings back to whatever you want....
Think this should work, but I've got too many podcasts on my phone to try it on your behalf!

Try this
Go to your Inbox folder
Tap on the "Edit"-Button on the top right
Select the first email in your list
Hold down the "Move" button
While you are still holding the "Move"-Button, deselect the first E-Mail
Put away all your fingers from the screen and wait a few seconds
Now Mail asks you where to move ALL of your emails
Select the Trash Folder as destination
From inside the Trash Folder, you can delete all items at once
I will have to find out where I got this from and edit. It does work, takes a little dexterity and patience.

From the Terminal app, this should do the trick, but run it at your own risk:
rm -r ~/Library/Preferences/*lockfile

I have this excact problem too, Deleting the the app and then reinstalling it won't delete your photos as they are stored on facebooks servers. You will just have to remember you username and password to sign in again. Ever since Facbook bought instagram i have had this problem on my 4S too.

You are trying to sync to other than the one iTunes library you can sync to. You can copy music from multiple library/computer if you use the manual method of syncing. That method is described here

If you want to make this computer/iTunes library your syncing computer/library you have to restore the iPod on this computer/library. Restoring erases the iPod.

Yes there is. Those songs are not actually on your iPad. They are in iCloud ready for download if you choose to do so. If you want to remove them go to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Show All>Music>Off. You can also do this in Settings>Music>Show All Music>Off.

When in recovery mode you can't backup the iPod.
You will have to restore via iTunes. See:

To restore from backup see:

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

iTunes will only give you the option to copy your iTunes Store purchases directly from an iPod to the computer, you'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer
For everything else (music from CDs, other downloads and including iTunes purchased songs and in some cases, videos and games) there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. I use Senuti but have a look at the web pages and documentation for the others too. iTunes content you purchase is tied to the Apple ID used to download it. You cannot update from a different Apple ID. Also, these are public forums and Apple isn't here, so you posted your password for all the world to see. I'll ask the moderators to remove it.

I do not recommend reformatting your harddrive and reloading your software. This is a Windows thing. On an older mac it may be difficult to find all your software again.
Best to have greater than 2gig of free space. Many posters to these forums state that you need much more free space: 5 gig to 10 gig or 10 percent of you hd size.

Be careful when deleting files. A lot of people have trashed their system when deleting things. Place things in trash. Reboot & run your applications. Empty trash.
Go after large files that you have created & know what they are. Do not delete small files that are in a folder you do not know what the folder is for. Anything that is less than a megabyte is a small file these days.

Yes, you can download it using your Adobe ID.
Just a word of caution here: DO NOT just "delete" the other version. Use the correct Adobe Uninstaller to UNISTALL it. Otherwise you'll leave all kinds of leftovers and debris that can interfere with any new install.

Why you can't redownload? Don't you have the Apple ID that used to download these apps?
You can "transfer purchaces" by right click on your iphone in iTunes but i guess you computer is not authorized and will ask you to authorize with Apple ID. Try it.

There are two methods...
For small deployment of iPads... Go to Settings > General > Restrictions > Enable Restrictions. Enter passcode. Switch the following to off: Installing Apps, iTunes, Deleting Apps.
For a large deployment of iPads... Download iPhone Configuration Utility, Apple Configurator, or enroll in a Mobile Device Management platform. Create a configuration profile. Under the Restrictions section, uncheck the following boxes: Allow installing apps, Allow in-app Purchase, Allow use of iTunes Store. Distribute and install this profile on all iPads.
