I want to delete icam photos stored on iphone 4s
I have 2,500 icam images stored on my 4s, and now they have been streamed to iCloud! I don't want to delete each snapshot that makes the videos, but want to get rid of these images that are eating up my iCloud storage, and 4s storage. I deleted iStream from iCloud, but I am sure the next auto sync will reload them. How do I delete the iCam photo album from my phone and iCloud without turning off all the benefits of iCloud backup?
iCam? What is this? Is a app on apple store?
The iCloud save you document and if you save the first time the pictures is ok!
If you delete this pictures after and you have a backup on iCloud you lose them(I think)! :((

I have run out of memory on my iPhone. I want to delete some photos on my iPhone but I want to make sure they will stay on my Macbook in photo stream.
If you have your iPhoto library set to automatically import Photo Stream photos
they will not be removed from the library (but will from the Photo Stream) when deleted from the iPhone). If you don't have the Autokmatic Import checked the select the Photo Stream photos in your LIbrary and drag them onto the Events icon in the left hand pane to import them. Then you can delete from your iPhone.

If I want to delete the photo library from my iPhone, how do I make sure I dont delete them from my desktop as well?
If you have copied them to your computer, then you will be OK. Just deselect the photos when you sync.

How do I reorganize my photos on iPad 2? I need to move (not copy) photos from one album to another. When I use the copy function to another album, and then try to delete an image from the original album, the system wants to delete the photos from all albums. Please help.
You can't do it directly on the iPad - the new album functionality basically only allows you to copy photos into those new albums, you can't move them. The way that I think of it as working is that you are just creating pointers to the photos in those new albums, so if you then delete the original photo on the iPad you therefore automatically delete all the pointers to it.
If you want to re-organise your albums then you will need to do it on your computer and then sync those albums over to the iPad -
I have copied some photos to my I phone through the computer of my friend. I want to delete those photos but not able to do. My friend is not in my country. I tried through another computer but didn't know how to delete it
If they were synced to your phone, they can only be removed by syncing them off with iTunes. Create an empty folder on the computer you normally sync your phone with. Then connect your phone to your computer, open iTunes, click on the name of your phone in iTunes, go to the photos tab and select to sync the empty folder you created earler. Then click Apply at the bottom to sync your phone. This will remove any photos on your phone that were synced to it from a computer.

I want to delete some photos of the user pictures. Where can I find them?
I want to delete some photos of the user pictures. Where can I find them?
I mean those pictures, which come on when clicking on the user-picture, here "latest".Unfortunately I don't speak German.
Go back to Recents (Letzte), select a picture, and then hit the delete key. Delete all that you want to. At this point the 'Done' button will be grayed out.
Click the Show All button at the top left.
Then go back to see if the user pictures were removed. It worked for me. -
I have Windows XP laptop. Can I get the photos Saved on the iPad1 iOS4.3 from emails and websites etc. Onto my laptop as backup or in case I want to delete the photos from the iPad?
It never seems to synch fully with the laptop?Ivon, when you are satisfied that you have successfully imported the new folders to the iPad you can go back (as I have described above) and delete the originals of those you copied out in order to avoid 'duplication' and also save space.
The method I have described also has advantages over creating new albums within the Photos app on the iPad since it 'duplicates' the photos and only permits the deletion of all so called copies. King_Penguin is correct when he states you can copy out photos originally taken with the iPad etc.

How do I bring back the "Are you sure you want to delete this photo" dialog box in Iphoto. I accidentally clicked "never ask again" so it never appears. I want it back.
The following previous discussion may help: Re: Delete Confirmation Warning. I want back.

Not only that but now that photo stream is turned on, it shows 3 photo stream albums, 1 called my photo stream that i made from my cpu,1 photo library, and 1 called photo stream. when i turn it off, it just deletes the photo stream album and leaves the others. what do i need to do to do this right? i just want what's necessary and to be able to view my photos on itunes or wherever it's suppose to be because i have way too many photos on my phone that i want to take off.
Photostream will only work with photos newly taken on your iPhone. It will not work with photos already on your iPhone. The idea of Photostream is to allow you to take a photo(s) on your iPhone and a copy will be extended to the Photostream album on the iphone as well as other devices(with Photostream turned on) and your PC (with icloud control panel installed and photostream turned on) so that you can copy those files into your local folder.
If you want to transfer old photos from your iPhone, connect it to your PC and there will be an AUTOPLAY popup window for you to select to import pictures to your local folder.
If the Autoplay window dose not showup, you can go to windows explorer to look for your iPhone and right click to select import pictures: -
I want to take the photos off my iPhone and put them directly onto an external hard disk - I don't have any room left on my computer. I want to bypass iPhoto altogether. When I link my iPhone to my computer, it only opens in iTunes, which only gives me the option to save my photos to iPhoto. Help! This is seriously frustrating!.
Additionally, I'd like to be able to take the 2000+ photos out of iPhoto and put them on a disk in a folder. I have managed to export them to the hard disk but it's just plonked all 2000+ photos in a list - not ideal if I want to use it for anything else. And then I have to manually delete the photos from iPhoto. Is there not a quick and easy way of dealing with this?
Anyone got any bright ideas? Thanks for your help!I too would like to be able to do this. Just put them where i want the. IFTT a scripting app will put the images in dropbox for you , but its been pretty iffy.

How can delete my photos on my iPhone once there downloaded onto my laptop
?
You can delete the photos from the iPhone directly after import (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083)- iPhoto on your Mac or Aperture will prompt you, if you want to delete the imported photos from the device. If you missed that opportunity, delete the photos on the iPhone by opening the Camera Roll and tapping the trash icon.

How do I permanently delete a photo off the iphone 5 so that it can not be recovered?
I want to permanently delete a photo from an iphone 5 so that it can not be recovered? How can I do this?
You can perform an erase all contents and settings direct on the iPhone which is a secure erase of everything except iOS and the included apps and not restore your iPhone from the backup. Start as new with no existing data or settings whatsover that is currently available on the iPhone.
If this photo has been deleted from the Camera Roll, when updating the iPhone's backup that deleted photo will not be included.
