I want to delete my file, but when I press the "delete", the file becomes "reject". How can I change back to real "Delete" ??

I just bought a macbook pro two days ago, and it is my first Macbook.
I want to delete some pics in my macbook, but when I press the "delete" key,
the files became "reject". How can I change it back to a real "delete" ?
Thank You !

Use Boot Camp Assistant to remove the partition containing Windows. You do this from the Mac OS X partition and do not need to boot into Windows.
