I want to delete my skype accounts

I have 3 skype accounts in total. The first one was made through facebook but when I tried to log in to that account it seemed that I had somehow accidentally made another skype account. As a result I couldn't log in to the first one. Since this kept on happening I made a seperate skype account and unlinked the other two skype accounts.
It showed that the accounts have been closed but it still appears in the search box and that's causing a lot of confusion. Can you please tell me how to permanently delete those account.
To make it worse I can't even log in to those accounts.
Any way to close down these accounts?

You will need to contact Skype Customer Service to request the acccounts be removed from the search directory. Please note, you will be asked to verify that you are indeed the rightful "owner" of the accounts in question.

Here are a few extra notes to guide you along the way ...
You will need to proceed through each step, one at a time. Sign on to the Skype website as requested. Choose the subject and topic which most closely matches the item you need assistance with. Then, continue past Step 2 of the instruction where several articles from the FAQ library will appear for you to review, and proceed to Step 3, Continue Support Request (the blue "button" appears at the lower right corner of the website page). You may also skip through Step 4 where you will be referred back here to the Community; no need to do this as the Community is where you started. When you complete the web-form and click Submit, your information is relayed to Skype and you will receive a reply via e-mail unless you are transferred to start an instant message chat session with a Customer Service agent.

Deleting my Skype account... not possible!

I want to delete my Skype account. The reasons are many, but the main reason is that it simply doesn't work; I can't install the program, Skype claims I don't have internet connection (but how can I be here then!?), and it's utterly impossible to get in contact with support (only numerous FAQ sites). I have no more patience! I don't want to waste more time here.
But getting out of the claws of Skype/Microsoft/Google is not that easy...
When I search for 'delete my account' it says that I can remove all my personal information in my profile, so that people can't contact me (as I can't download the Skype program there is no risk of that!). But no, I can't delete my name, my email, my country and press 'save'. It wants me to fill out the fields again! So, at the end, my name, email etc. will forever and ever be kept at Skype. Deleting or even changing my account is apparently not an option.
I know my harsh words will not delete my account - when I am dead and gone the account will still remain.
Only I hope this will prevent others from creating an account - they have to know that their membership of Skype will last forever...

Do you wish assistance, or as stated in this instruction, 'Can I delete my Skype account?' , to request your account be removed from the search directory? Having read both of your posts, I am confused. Please clarify.
I have run into this same problem when making amendments to my profile details. Please try changing your profile settings from within the Skype software rather than signing on from the website.
Please advise; I am subscribed to both of your threads.

As noted in #2, above, the last step is to file your request to remove/delete/cancel your Skype account directly with Skype Customer Service. Here is a link to the instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service via their secure portal: Contact Customer Service
If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service or find yourself redirected back to the Community, please try again using a different web browser and choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented.
Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also block reaching an agent.
Last and not least, when you reach the last step of the process, remember to click on the "Start Chat" link when you are provided the choice of visiting the Community or starting an instant message chat with a customer service agent.

When skype asked me to change my pasword, it said that I have now 7 skype accounts. I made them on older computers. I only need one of them, and want to delete all the old ones, so that if people are trying to find me, they only see my current account.How do I proceed? thanks

I'm not really interested in using Skype anymore and I somehow wound up with two screen names - [redacted] and [redacted] . Is there a way to delete my accounts manually?

Deleting old skype accounts

Hi I have a huge dilemma. My dad has had me create various skype accounts for him over time and now he wants to delete all but the one he remembers the password to. He wants me to figure out how to do this for him but when I go on the solutions forum it mentions logging into the account with your known password and deleting the account from the inside which defeats the whole purpose here. How do we just delete the account from the outside- like right click delete or someone we can email? He just needs one account. Please help!!!

Skype does not provide a single-click "delete my account" facility as you describe; the accountholder must file the request with Skype Customer Service.
Skype does not use a central or general e-mailbox; instead, we use the web-form as also explained here: 'Can I delete my Skype account?'

You would have to delete the existing iCloud account and create a wholly new one - you cannot change the @icloud.com email address of the one you already have. To make a new one, you will also need an new AppleID as any AppleID can only have one iCloud account associated with it.
Deleting the account will not delete anything off your device (if prompted for things like contacts, choose to keep them). You will have to sync everything anew with the new account as you cannot move your sync'd content, your old backups or anything else from one iCloud account to another. You will have to set up sync again and let it sync to the new account, and then make new backups to the new account as well.
