It is an extension to protect the profile with a password, but being an extension that protection can easily be bypassed by starting Firefox in [[Safe mode]]. 
So do not rely on it. 
If you want to protect content then you have to use methods supported by the OS like a separate user account with a password or an encrypted file system.

Another thing you can do is to set your Homepage to a website that you have a password logon saved for and use the Master Password feature. It won't completely stop someone else from using the internet but it will slow them down or make it appear they need a password for access.

However, I originally had the kindle app on there and when he is reinstalling it comes up with my kindle account. How do we change this?
OPen teh Kindle app.
Tap the i at bottom right then Settings > Deregister this device.

He does not have an actual kindle so I am not sure if he would be able to create one anyways.
The Kindle app is so you do not have to use a Kindle. Yes, he can have a Kindle account and not own an actual Kindle hardware device.

I've seen this happen when the phone was encrypted... Other than calling apple/deleting passcodes I don't know of any solution.
If you're keen on waiting, upload your photos to dropbox, that's the way I do it.

You cannot delete any pre-installed iOS app.
Put the Apps you choose Not to Use into a Folder and ignore it.

Is this the Master Password for the Firefox Password Manager?
The Current Firefox release allows to save a name and password from sites that have a log in form with autocomplete="off".
If you want to disable this new feature then you can toggle the signon.storeWhenAutocompleteOff pref to false on the about:config page with a double-click.
You can open the about:config page via the location bar and you can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
Can you access the saved passwords?

I would recommend to download the driver appropriate for your system from the Canon webiste or, after installing it, to run software update and it will detect it for you.
If you have the last driver appropriate for your system, you may wish to reset the printing system. I have never set-up a master password for firefox. Somehow the browser to locked mode, now, and requests a master password. How can I get it to unlock?

If you haven't already done so then you can reset the password for your iTunes account via http://iforgot.apple.com, and after doing that log out of the account on your iPad by tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it. And similarly if using the account for iCloud then Settings > iCloud > Sign Out and then log back in
You say that you 'have a new account', if you have created a new iTunes account then all of your downloads from your old account will remain tied to your old account, so only that account can potentially redownload those purchases for free and/or download updates to its apps.

I want to delete password protect on Palm Pre

I had my work e-mail being sent to my Palm Pre and therefore had to add password protection. I am no longer doing e-mail on my phone and have deleted my e-mail account, but it's still requiring a password in order to use the phone.
