How do I display text only in the first page inXML Publisher

Hi everybody,
I've been reading so much, on the last two days, on this issue at this forum but I didn't get an answer. My problem is: In an invoices report some text and fields from the invoice header, (such as payment terms, bank details etc.), should be printed only in the first page of the invoice, (If the invoice has more than one page). These elements are not in the document header/footer but in the document body. That's why I think the different fist page of MS Word will not work. I tried also <? start@first-page:body ?>, with no success. Any idea, someone?

Itunes not displaying text only on ipad section tree.

Hi, anyone can help me with this,
i attached my ipad to my pc and itunes detected it but i cant see any text display under ipad,only icon and blank button.
Any idea how to fix this? i had try reinstall latest itunes, restart my pc, and my ipad is original. All seems doesnt help... i hope not to format my PC.

Your iPad is not a cellular telephone. It is not capable of sending or receiving SMS or MMS messages (except when used in conjunction with your iPhone using handoff).
Your iPhone can send and receive iMessages to/from other Apple devices when they (and you) are connected to WiFi or a cellular carrier that supports iMessage.

My browser displays text only with very little page formating for all pages. How do I enable page formating with images etc.?

I have a multi-user windows based machine where both users have the same browser, search engine, plugins, applications, etc. I use this machine primarily as an entertainment system (ie. TV client/server using a TV Tuner card, Music & Video Player, etc.). Most of my time on this machine is maintaining security and drivers. However, my wife uses it primarily as a social media communication device. My user account on this machine displays all content correctly. Where as she has crashed both Facebook games while playing as well as her mail (GMail). After one of these crashes it "appears" she is displaying HTML text with formatting but without images. I've tried to fix this without success. We have another machine that seems fine so it's not her login on our network, just the one machine. Please help!!!

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
*Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance

Want to display characteristics only

Hi,
I want to create a query from an InfoCube to display Material and Sales Org only in a list format without having to display a key figure. If I try this, I get 'No Applicable Data'.

Adobe required me to reset my password and since doing so firefox displays text only, no graphics or video; doesn't affect IE.

I received an email from Adobe requiring me to reset my Adobe password due to security breaches on 10/11/13. I determined it was a genuine request. I reset my password, then signed in on Adobe with the new password. From that point on, I have only text on Firefox, no graphics, no video. Most sites are unusable. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and Adobe Flash several times with no results. The problem does not occur on Explorer.

New version 35 displays text only

First, I'm working through TeamViewer 10 setting up another computer.
I started by installing FF 27 because I like the older version. It created a problem so I updated to FF35. The problem's still there. I've cleared the cache, restarted both FF and the computer, and reset the page style to "No Style". My next step is to uninstall and reinstall FF, but I hope I don't have to do that. Somehow I don't think that will fix the problem.
THE PROBLEM: FF displays almost all pages normally based on html script (graphics, text, animation, etc. are all okay). But when I go to any Mozilla page all it shows is text in non-html format. it looks like an outline form with all links blue + underlined. The links work, but continue the non-html script.
Also, when I ask FF to go to Add-ons it does the same think. Even then, when I click on the download link, it gives me an error message saying "There was an error downloading . . .". If I try to download the Windows version from the first page I get "Secure Connection Failed".
What's wrong? Why is html working for all other web sites but not for Mozilla? I don't think there is anything wrong with TeamViewer or it wouldn't work for other sites.

IWeb site displaying text only on some computers

I just created a site in iWeb (latest version). When I upload the site to server, it works fine for some people but not others; test on an iWeb page is viewable by some but not all users. I used a web-safe font. Can't figure it out. Help!!!!!

MSN only displays text. Firefox IE both. Rebooting router/modems corrects the problem for awhile.

Everything runs great for a few weeks and the right out of the blue MSN home page only displays partial imiages and the rest of the imiages display text only. Rebooting the modem and router and desk top corrects the problem for a couple of weeks. Help.

Something that only occurs every few weeks is going to be hard to debug.
Next time it happens, could you try reloading the page bypassing cached pages? You can do that using Ctrl+Shift+r to force a full reload from the server. If that works, then most likely some files in Firefox's cache became corrupted.
Not sure why you would simultaneously have the same issue in IE, though. Hmmm...

I need to display text only portal pages. Some of the more
detailed concerns at this point are below. Also, I've had an open
tar on Metalink for about two weeks, and after research from
their end has resulted in no help.
THE ISSUES (so far):

If an anchor [A HREF=...] tag uses an image as it's "text", I
need to strip out the ALT= text to show inside the anchor. If no
ALT text is available, then I would like to show the image name
as a default.

How do I get the resulting page from a form (which include the
login inputs and submit button, search box, advanced search page,
etc.) to be displayed by the text only page?

When a form is called, the <FORM> elements are as follows:

In this case, the action value is:
ACTION=/servlet/page?

This calls the advanced search API.

TRIED SO FAR:

I've written a socket/text scraper in Perl, running it from a web
server. The problems mentioned above are really causing problems,
plus the whole cookie thing. Since Oracle Portal tries to push a
cookie to the client, when the client is another UNIX server,
the cookie thing doesn't work.
POSSIBLE OTHER SOLUTIONS:

create some sort of PL/SQL procedure to catch the content then
strip out the HTML calls.
An Applet to do the same thing, but on the client side, but
since time is an issue, coding a complete Java applet isn't
really an option.

HELP! I need some help. This is for a client that is government
funded, and to meet Section 508 (part of the Americans with
Disabilities Act that states web sites and applications must be
made accessible. A text-only page is one of the requirements for
an accessible page.

Use Find/Change and the GREP tab.
Search for .+ and set the Find formatting to find the charcteristics you want.
What will you do with this text once found? You'll need something to "change" to, either new text or Change Formatting options...

Create a different text node under the template then
in each text node u have output options tab in that u have output structure frame
in that u have line and column give
line = 1
column = 1 for first row first column like that .........
then it wil display the text according to the template design.

Displaying text based on variable

I have a variable defined as brushSize. Depending on the value of brushSize, I want to display text in a dynamic text field that relates to its value.
For brushSize values of 3, 13, 23, 33, and 43 I'd like to display 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 respectively. I'm not really sure where to begin here, but I have tried and failed with something like this:

did that. now getting no messages on anything. opened up messages on the Mac and saw i had been sent many that never showed up on my phone.
I tried sending a text with iMessage turned off and while it said delivered, doesn't look like it was ever seen.
