I want to don't send to original mail sender for over quota

Dear all.
an messages deliver to first receiver
and first receiver forwarding message second receiver by auto mail forwarding.
So, if second receiver on mailbox over quota, bounce message deliver to first receiver and original sender.
In this case, original sender want to don't receive over quota message.
How to configure for this case.

In this case, original sender want to don't receive over quota message.
How to configure for this case.If you are using the mailforwardingaddress: method of forwarding, then the original envelope sender address will remain, therefore the original sender will get bounces.
If you have the most recent Messaging Server 6.3 patch installed you could use the sieve redirect :resetmailfrom parameter which will cause the envelope sender address to be reset to the current sieve owner. That way bounces go to the sieve owner.

Restrict E-mail sender in the Mail sender communication channel.

        My scenerio customers want to Email with attachment to PI server. I've successfull tested this scenerio without one open issue. Right now anyone having email id can send mail to PI server.
I want to restrict the senders list. Is this possible in the sender Mail adapter configuration.

You need to configure 2 receiver
1)MailA
2)MAILB
in receiver determination.
then you need to route it based on Subject using condition in receiver determination.

then based on subject field you can conditionaly determine the receiver.

Sending Macbook original disk as .dmg over the internet

I gave my old Macbook (2006 model) to my dad who lives in another country. I forgot to give him the disk that came with the machine. If I make a disk image of that disk using Disk Utility and send it to him using Yousendit, will it still serve the original purpose if he downloads the file and burns it on to a new CD?

I have requirement where we want to chage the sender name decription for mails which are going through workflow.When we send mails through send mail step in workflow it is taking sender decription name automatically as "GSAP E1B WORKFLOW SYSTEM".
I have to change this decription to "OSIRIS Invoice". Is there any way to change sender name?
We are using SENDTASKDESCRIPTION method of SELFITEM object in send mail step.
Any help on this regards will be grate help...

Hello Rahul,
here, the sender's name is the user's name of the background user performing this task, i.e. usually WF-BATCH.
If you do not have any other workflow scenarios running that could interfere here you could possibly just change that user's name.
Otherwise you have to re-program the sendmail step to specifically set the sender description.

Yes, it should work. If it does not work at the moment, try to sign out of iCloud and then try to sign in again, this solves the problem in most cases.

How do I change the hostname used when Mac Mail sends EHLO

Hi All,
I work for a tech support group and one of our clients is experiencing some trouble sending emails. When they connect to their outbound mail server Mac Mail sends the EHLO command with a hostname like 01:23:45:67:89:ab.home
Another Mac on the network sends a hostname like 00:A0:C9:14:C8:29.home2
So they appear to be the a Mac address for the computers NIC followed by a generic location in this case .home, not sure if thats a generic Mac thing or something they chose to configure but because the hostname is not an ip address and contains ".(dot)home" the outbound mail server our client uses believes it to be a domain so then rejects it as an invalid domain when a lookup on it fails.
I've changed the hostname of one of the Macs using the command "cutil –-set HostName new_hostname"
This has changed the hostname when checking it by the hostname command in a Terminal but Mac Mail still persists in using the old hostname. We've tried rebooting the machine and rebooting the machine with the left shift key held down as I believe this does some kind of rebuild of configuration files, but still the old hostname is send when Mac Mail sends EHLO.
How can I force Mac Mail to pick up the new hostname or is there something else I need to do to change it?

You can sign out from the account in iBooks and then sign in to another one.
From the menu bar, choose: Store->Sign Out
Then sign in again with the desired ID: Store->Sign In

Getting: Unable to send attachment with Mail Drop

Mail Drop is not working for me, I always get error message while trying to send.
Here is what happens:
-I compose a message that includes a large attachment
-I click send
-I get the message "Unable to send attachment with Mail Drop" for a few seconds
-My message is not sent and it goes into the Outbox folder.
Configuration:
OS X 10.10 Yosemite
Mail -> Preferences -> Accounts -> Advanced. The option "Send large attachments with Mail Drop" is selected.

I had the exact same problem. I finally figured out what was wrong. I believe you must have iCloud Drive turned on in System Preferences AND you also must allow mail to store document in iCloud Drive which you can check by clicking the "Options..." button in the preference pane of iCloud Drive. As you can see below.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

In Tiger, when I want to write some emails, and at the end review them before sending, I selected "take all accounts off line from the menu bar. The emails stayed in the outbox until I took them on line again. But now in Leopard .2 what has been "sent" goes anyway - even with the accounts "off line." So I ask..
1 What on earth is the meaning of "account off line?"
2 Is there any way of holding emails until it suits me to send then, other than saving them as drafts (which i invariably forget to finish)?

this only refers to incoming mail.

Drafts mailbox is your only option. It does exactly what you want - hold the e-mails until it suits you to send them.

You might just have to contact Apple and ask them to remove it (losing it). Usually people clear a balance by buying one song and having the exact remainder charged to their credit card, but if you don't have a US credit card you cannot do that.

This is exactly what I want to do but don't think I can:
I noticed the following :
If you attempt to create an Apple ID which is the same as your @icloud email address from the online facility, it does not allow you (can't use an Apple associated email address as your Apple ID). However - if you start a fresh device - such as a new iPhone, iPad (must be mobile it seems), and then create an iCloud account and Apple ID from the prompts when setting up the mobile device, it IS possible to have your Apple ID and @iCloud email address as the same. I know because I just did it!
Unfortunately for me, the result I got above is not for one of my own ID's but a friends, and I would VERY much like to do the same - my current Apple ID is a completely different email address from my iCloud account. Trying to get them the same in my situation is a major bother - I think that if I wipe a device (such as an iPhone5 that is mine) and try to setup as I did my friend's device, then I will get a conflict because the iCloud email I have ALREADY exists. This is my worry and I will not attempt this until I get the new iPad 4 soon to test this.
There is an inconsistency here between the two methods of creating Apple ID's and iCloud accounts.
Overall in my opinion, the Apple ID system as currently available from Apple is not designed very well, and should be addressed.
