I want to download an older version of Firefox 3.

The site I want to use (azva.com) will only accept Firefox 3.0. I have version 5.0 and it doesn't work. I could not find version 3 to download.

You can download it via this link. Choose your language and platform.

  • What steps are needed to download an older version of Firefox for testing an Oracle certified version?

I want to download an older version of Firefox for testing Oracle certified versions (for PeopleSoft PeopleTools). I found the directory of older versions but need instructions for the steps needed to download the desired version, which is version 17. Thank you for your help.

The latest Firefox 17 ESR ''(Extended Support Release)''' for Windows is available here: <br />
    http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/17.0.6esr/win32/en-US/
If you will be installing that version on a PC which already has a different version of Firefox installed, you will need to create a new Profile fir the ESR version. Let us know and we'll tell you how to create a new Profile.

  • HT4623 Hi, I have an iPod touch 2G with an iOS of 4.2.1 and there are no updates available for my device, I want to download an older version of iBooks that is compatible with my device. Pls what can I do?

Hi, I have an iPod touch 2G with an iOS of 4.2.1 and there are no updates available for my device, I want to download an older version of iBooks that is compatible with my device. Pls what can I do?

    - The 2G iPod can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. It does not have the hardware to support a higher iOS version.
    - Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.
    - You can only download the current version from the App store.

  • Firefox version 4 does not work with Mac OS 10.4.11. Is there a fix for this? Alternatively, how do I download an older version of Firefox that will work?

I have a an older IMAC as a second computer. I replaced an older version of Firefox with the new update. I had to do this because Firefox gave me a message that the older version would no longer work. The new version 4.0 will not open even after it is put in the applications folder. I get a message that says this version is not compatible with my Operating system. I don't want to change the OS at the moment.
Can anyone help? I'd like to just download an older version of Firefox if that is the only way to make this work, but I can't find an older version on the website.
    Thanks very much.

Had the same problem; would have been nice if they had told s that we need an intel processor on our older Macs! I am up and running again.

  • I need to apply for a student loan and I am told that the version of firfox is not supported It recommend I download an older version: Mozilla Firefox 3.5.x and 3.6.x How do I do this?

I'm told to download an older version of firefox that supports the application for federal student loan. They want me to download: Windows 7 - Mozilla Firefox 3.5.x and 3.6.x

The fafsa.gov site does not currently support Firefox newer than version 3.6.x. That is their choice.
You can install Firefox Portable version to use only on that site and use your installed current Firefox version for everything else. Firefox Portable is not produced by Mozilla (but is based on Firefox released versions) and is not supported on this site -- has its own support forum (see below). Firefox Portable installs in a separate folder on your hard drive so that it does not interfere with your currently installed Firefox version settings or personal information (bookmarks, passwords, etc.). You can also install Firefox Portable on a USB/thumb/pin/jump drive.

  • How can I download an older version of Firefox before 3.6

I am trying to do transcription from a website. I did one file before my typing stopped showing up in the "box." I emailed the company and they suggested downloading an older version than 3.6. ('Doesn't make sense to me, but I guess I had better try what they advise before complaining any more to them.) I can't find instructions to download '''pre'''-3.6 version.

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

For an unofficial Firefox 4 compatible version that runs on a PowerPC Mac with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8 you can look at:

Firefox 3.6.x (Mac OS X 10.4 and later) can be found here:

  • Can I download an older version of Firefox? 3.6.14

Firefox indicates the page is loading but get the timed out error. I can load the page on older version of Firefox.

If you could not connect to the internet with 3.6.15, it is probably due to a firewall blocking access, for details see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Firefox+cannot+load+websites+but+other+programs+can
I do not recommend using 3.6.14, it has quite a few problems with Java applets not working.

  • I want to download an earlier version of Firefox.

I have Mac OS 10.4.11, and when I tried to open firefox today it wouldn't do anything- no error message, nothing. So I went to this site to download it again, and all I could find was Firefox 4.0, which apparently is not compatible with my OS. So all I want to do is download an earlier version that IS compatible, but I cannot find anything that would allow me to do this. Does that mean I can't use Firefox on this computer, or can someone help, please?

You can get Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

  • How can i download an older version of firefox

I need to download Firefox version 3.5 for school. I am inquiring if it were at all possible to access the old versions of firefox?

For those that really need an earlier version of Firefox, find your system and the Firefox version you want
in releases, download and start the install.
    * ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/
:or with the latest of version 3
    * http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older.html
: Note Mac OS X 10.4 user, and Mac OS X 10.5 users without Intel cannot upgrade to Firefox 4 or 5.
When reinstalling Firefox from a download, Firefox must be down once the installation starts.

  • Is there anyway of downloading an older version of firefox so that my greasemonkey script will still work on the game i like to play?

I like playing a game called Fallen Sword. I use a Grease Monkey script to help with short cuts and so forth since updating my firefox that script is no longer doing the same things and i want to be able to use it again. Hence it is possible to revert to an older version so that this script works?

You might want to consider extending the lifespan of your G5 by using a different operating system. I put [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lubuntu Lubuntu] on a G5 recently and it runs the newest Firefox just fine. Lubuntu (pronounced Loo-boon-two) is sort of an Ubuntu lite - a user-friendly version of Linux. There are many applications to choose from, and it's all free.
The PowerPC I did this on was one of the old Bondi Blue ones. Firefox had no problem running on it at all and has all plug-ins needed for video, audio, etc.. I gave it to a church and it's running fine for them.
You can download old versions of Firefox, but you'll just open yourself up to security problems if you do.
FYI: The Mac operating system is built on Linux.

  • Is there any way I can download an older version of firefox?

Hi, I am working with a wysiwyg is having trouble with the newest version of Firefox. Is there anyway I can download old versions? Specifically Firefox 7? Thanks!

    Hey maiabee,
There are a lot of benefits to running the latest version of Firefox. You should consider [http://input.mozilla.com/en-US/feedback leaving feedback] for the developers so that they can continue to improve the product.
If you still want to roll back to a previous version of Firefox, just take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[Installing a previous version of Firefox]].
    Hopefully this helps!
