I want to download the application Shazam.
I want to download the application Shazam. However it is not appearing in App store. If i try to download it from Safari, it gives an error "Your request could not be completed". Any advice?
The only setting I can think of the would effect this would be restrictions for apps rated for too high an age (this would be in Settings>General>Restrictions>Apps). If that's not the case you might try closing the App Store app, followed by resetting your phone: double-tap the home button, navigate to the App Store icon (swiping if necessary), tap and hold until it jiggles, tap the minus sign. Then reset the phone: hold the on/off and home buttons until you see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider that appears first), and release.

My Adobe trial for Photoshop Elements 10 for the Mac was over and I wanted to buy the application. The screen message was "Your trial has expired...but the fun doesn't have to end! Buy now to continue using Photoshop Elements 10 without having to download or re-install. " and then the button "Buy Now". When I hit the Buy Now button I am put in a field to buy Photoshop Elements 13, with no way to change to Elements 10. I do not want to go through the hassle of reinstalling etc. In fairness, it's been over a month since making the decision to buy. Still, I consider this a nightmare. Any ideas on how to buy the app I've got withou having to purchase a whole new one? Thanks.
If worse comes to worse, will I need to uninstall the trial if I buy a new version? Can I use part of it lime download assistant?Adobe does not sell older versions of their software. If you wish to purchase an older version you will have to find and take your chances with a third party vendor.

i have a Mac i5 and need to download the application 'Numbers' but everytime I try to do so, it says can't do as the ver 2.2 for the app needs new software 'Snow Leopard'. I don't want to upgrade but dont know what to do??
If your profile is correct you're already on the final version of Snow Leopard (10.6.8). Sure it wasn't Lion it was asking for?
If that's the only version available on the app store, you'll need to source a copy of the iWork '09 DVD - not cheap now - only available via Amazon or eBay etc. -

Error downloading the Application/Framework files: DMZ issues
We have the sync servlet outside the DMZ. Users can do a sync of the data using this but when they want to download the WAR file (The Framework or Application) it doesnt let them do it.
The workaround that our basis guy has come up with is to go the Table where the PATH of the WAR file is stored (you can see this path in the Webconsole) and changed the relative name to include the full http://... name. This works, however is there a way to specify the location of framework or application file when we upload it using the WebConsole to include the full path instead of the relative path?

When you click on "Upload Mobile Component", there is a text box named: "Domain in URL". Enter something like: company.com
In this way, the URL for app download will have a full qualified name.

If you have an iPhone and have it set to keep the normal photo when shooting HDR photos the two image files that are created will be duplicates in a manner of speaking (same image) but there are only twp apps that detected the iPhone HDR and normal photos as being duplicates: PhotoSweeper and Duplicate Cleaner for iPhoto. None of the other apps detected those two files as being duplicates as they look for file name as well as other attributes and the two files from the iPhone have different file names.
iPLM, however, is the best all around iPhoto utility as it can do so much more than just find duplicates. IMO it's a must have tool if using iPhoto.

I want to download the latest version of iTunes from the internet rather than on the Apple software update...will i have to re-enter my account details in the iTunes i downloaded...plz help..!!
It may only ask those details when making a transaction in the iTunes Store.
It has nothing to do with reinstalling the application.
I'm pretty sure about that, as sure as I am that no meteore will fall on my head today.
But don't shoot me if it does.
It will also not ask you to re-authorise the computer, if you're afraid about that. -

Open App Store > Purchases, and see if iPhoto app is listed. If not, unhide it > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4928 Apart from that, check that iPhoto is in Applications folder. If not, put it in this folder.
If nothing works, remove iPhoto, open App Store > Purchases, and install iPhoto free of charge -

The hardware on the 2G does not support an iOS version higher than 4.2.1. If you want apps that require a higher version you will need to get a newer model iPod.

Someone else bought an app on the store on my new computer. I had already purchased the app before on my old computer, so I deleted the app on my new computer that the other person purchased. I now want to download the app again through MY account. When I click INSTALL it asks for ID, but it shows up automatically with the other person's ID, so I delete that and enter mine instead. I then click SIGN IN, but then it says "Unknown error", then I click OK, then it says "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (4)". How do I get rid of all info of other people's IDs so I can get the app through my account again?
The app that I'm trying to download actually might have been a pirated app. But I deleted it, so why is it not letting me get it through my account?

How do I download an app I previously had on an older device, not utilizing my cloud or itunes backup. I want to download the app as new as if I had never had it before. When I go to the app store, it only gives me the option of downloading from the cloud with the cloud icon?
When you download something from the iCloud, it is a brand new licensed copy. Your iCloud account just contains a notation that you have this app. It isn't storing an actual copy of the app from your Mac.
