I want to edit my school report document but the editing field is light grey and won't let me do anything to the existing docment
The editing tool isn't functioning. Do I have it in the right mode? Desperate to clean up reports to be submitted.

My mistake. I should have told you more on the same.
Please open the file in Adobe Acrobat and press Control + D
A new window named as 'Document Properties' will appear in which you have to click on Security tab.
The options under Security tab will appear and will look like in the screenshot given below:
Now, check whether 'Changing the document' option is allowed and also if any Security Method is applied.
I hope I am clear now.

I set up my fingerprint ID and it worked fine for 1.5 weeks. Last night phone shut off for no reason. I turned back on and fingerprint id does not work. [email protected]I had the same issue ... and also restored the phone and the option TOUCH ID was totaly gone.
But I restored it via the iphone itself ( general reset all data and settings etc )
It was still not ok
Then I tried to restore the iphone from ITUNES ( that reinstall completely the OS which is not done if you do a reset via the iphone)
And then .. the option was back again -
To copy an arrangement section - verse, chorus etc - I click the verse or chorus I want to copy/move in the arrangement line. But when I open the edit tab the copy/cut options are gray and won't let me do it. Same w/command 'C' and 'V'.
Also, how do I send a song from my MacBook GB to my iPad GB so I can utilize the Smart Instruments in my song.Use the alt key to create a copy of an Arrange section by dragging it.

I have deleted a song from my library and want to re-download it. When I access my purchased items in the iTunes store, the song has the 'purchased' button next to it and won't let me re-download. Any suggestions for things to try?

Pop up is in safari from a third party website and won't let me do anything in safari unless I click on it. I don't want to click on it because it is probably a virus. I hae tried restarting safari and also the computer, but it's still there.
Thomas' answer is the preferred technique. Sometimes, these pop-ups will block you from quitting Safari. In that case, press option+command+esc, select Safari, and Force Quit. Then, use the shift key with Safari when relaunching it, per Thomas' suggestion.

Adobe Send is a service used for sending large files. It does not provide you with the facility to edit or create PDF. Also, as suggested earlier in the thread, using Acrobat you can edit the PDF.

I selected a clip in the Project window in iMovie 11, opened the Clip Trimmer for that clip, chose the part of the clip I wanted to keep with the yellow bars, and "trim to Selection" in the menu bar is light grey so I can't complete the edit.
I'm using a MacbookPro so can't right click to highlight (as was suggested in this forum for the same problem) and can't seem to highlight that area. What do I do?When using the Clip Trimmer, you click DONE to indocate that you are finished.
The Trim To Selection is a great tool and I use it all the time, but you use it in the main project timeline, not the clip trimmer. Just select the frames you want so that the yellow border is around them. Then right-click and select Trim to Selection. -

In regarding of the issue, I need more information:
Which Office and operation system do you use?
Does the other Office suits encounter the issue?
Does the issue occur in some special documents or every documents (even a new blank Word document)?
Do you get some error message? Please upload some images about it if you can.
Let's try some methods, check if they are helpful:
a) Delete the Word Data registry subkey.
1.Exit all Office programs.
2.In Windows 8 or Windows 8.1, swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. (If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Search.) Type regedit in the search box, tap
or click Apps, and then tap or click Run.
Or, in Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
3.Locate the following registry subkey, as appropriate for the version of Word that you are running:

I started to learn HTML, and I'm using text edit and everything is going fine, when I save the file with a .html extension and open it with safari I only view the code and not the webpage that was supposed to be created.
That is because you don't have a web server configured and running to serve the html page. In order to see the page in a browser you need to access it using a url similar to http://localhost/~yourUserName if you are serving the page from your user account.
Prior to Mountain Lion you could go into web sharing and turn on the web server. With Mountain Lion there is no option, other than using terminal, to turn on the web server. The web sharing menu item has been removed in Mountain Lion. Apache is still on your computer but it will take a little searching these forums or the Internet to find how to turn it on.
If you want a graphic user interface to turn on/off the Apache server you could download and install a server application like xampp, http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html. I use this and it works well. -
I have an original iPhone running version 2.2.1. I wish to get rid of the phone, but before discarding it I want to remove the email records, phone book information, and photos. I would like to leave the other apps in place. Any suggestions?
Delete you mail account on the phone and disable to sync your mail account in the info pane in iTunes with your phone connected, same for contacts. Also deselect photo syncing in the photo pane. After the following sync, your mail, contact and photos should be gone.
Photos inside the camera roll have to be deleted on the phone.
Remember, that apps only can be used with the account they were bought with. If the phone will be set up with a different iTunes account, all of your apps will be removed.
