I want to edit the places name (with the little house icon)

I'm relatively new to Mac. This is a computer shared by a few people and I didn't want to plaster my name all over it. the places name for example is IanComputer but i'd like it Ian + Lisa.
Can this be done?

The simplest thing of all would be to create new accounts for the other users, with whatever names they want. Then they would only be able to log into their own account and wouldn't be able to see anything that's in your account. You could leave your own account just as it is.
Of course you shouldn't tell other users what your username and password are

It's not being authenticated..

Whether the user name is sent with each subsequent request depends on the browser and type of authentication. Same as the value of the CGI variable REMOTE_USER.
Returns:
a String specifying the login of the user making this request, or null
I'm assuming it's because it's on your local machine..

While importing, how do I save the file name with the artist in it?

Currently when Itunes imports any cd, it imports it with the song name only, and put it in a folder with the artist name. I would prefer the tracks to be named 'Artist - Song.mp3'.
Any idea how I can do this? It's driving me crazy. I need to rename all the imports with the artist on the file name.

Earlier in the week I created PHP photo/image upload form so clients will be able to upload to my site, it worked very well uploading image to designated directory to the C:/path/ but there is more that I would like to do with the form, and that is to write the image name with the extension, “Joplateau.jpg” for example in the database after upload. I wanted to use hiddenField but it's not working for me, may be i am not doing it right. If any one has an idea how to do this please let me know, and thanks in advance.

Displaying Document Name With The Summary in a Single Column Using Document Library View.

Hi All,
I have a question that relates to SharePoint Document Library Views. I want to view the Documents name with the summary in a single column. Below image shows an example of it. I need this within a SharePoint Document Library. Also I want the height of the
row to be increased more than the default height. I cannot figure it out how to do that? Could you someone help me to do this. I have inserted the Document Library as an App Part to the page.

You can create DataView webpart using SPD and then modify the display template according to your need.

Shell Script- To FTP the latest file with the date stamp

I have a Solaris 10 based system, where it generate some application files (multiple) in XML format and the file name comprises of the current date.
File Format is as follows;
CX-FIL-20070624000000-2-8452536d-000133.xml
Where 20070624 repesents the curent date of the file
I want to FTP these files to another server (Solaris 10 based Sun Machine) by comparing the file name with the current date.
Please let me know how I can do this by using a shell script.

Assuming you want to ftp the files with today's datestamp, you could match the files you want like so:
CX-FIL-`/bin/date +"%Y%m%d"`*
Use that in your script to generate the file list to be transferred...

I would like to change the name of a step just for the report generation. The sequence file should not be changed. I was able to change the step name with the activeX API, just looking for any other solutions that wouldn't involve adding another step.

Hi,
since the report generation is done from the ResultList, you coudl simply alter the data stored in the Locals.ResultList (which ever is the appropriate result element in here) to reflect what you want the step name to appear as.
This could be done through an expression, or a statement step.
e.g. Locals.ResultList[0].TS.StepName = "New name"

How can I sync only the company name with a sony cellphone

I've a problem to sync my adressbook with a sony cellphone.
In the adressbook there is sometimes only the company name and the phonenumber.
when I'm syncing with the sony cellphone the name looks like that " -, apple"
that's not what I want. Is there a way to repair this bug, or do I have to copy the company name into the surname field?

It's not a bug - it's a limitation of Sony Ericsson phones.
When programming the operating system of the phones, Sony Ericsson obviously took the decision to store contacts first and last names in one field not two.
So, unless you can persuade Sony Ericsson to change this operating system feature, and release upgraded firmware for all affected phones, you'll have to live with it.

I want to craete a report on number of total business and system faults with the help of Information Publisher in OEM 12c Cloud Control. I am fetching data from the table composite_instance_fault present in SOAINFRA schema. Below os my SQL statement:-

Now I want to know that how can I map the composite_dn name with a composite in run time. When we fetch data from the repository we used to map target in rumtime by using ??EMIP_BIND_TARGET_GUID?? but here as I am not fetching data from repository, how can I map target in run time.
On executing the above SQL statement its returing an empty table without any data.
Please guide!!

Open a new document big enough for your image. Then additional open your ice and flower image as well. Copy each and paste it into your blank document. They will be placed on their own separate layers.
Make sure in your layers panel. (Bottom right) the ice is above the flower, by dragging it in place. In that same layers panel click the ice layer to select in and find the opacity meter above. Drag to the left until you get the effect you desire.

This recently happened to me. I am a novice, but it seemed like that project got corrupted some how.
I deleted it.
Went to time machine and picked it up again when I knew it was working ok.
I lost a few hours of work, but not the entire project.
Once I had the project back from time machine, it worked fine (but like I said, I lost a little bit of work).

I created two different communication channels
for the first sender file communication channel i should not use processing mode archive,delete,Test
and only option is set read only.
if i set the read only the file ..then i can not use the same file again to call second RFC.
how we can acheive the above scenario?

If you want to file need to be picked up twice in same folder, it seems it is hard for PI adapter to achieve it, you should look for API's that control adapters availibility.
But if you have different folder, then it make your scenario simpler since you can process first time, then output to another folder, configure another adapter to pick up from different folder.
