I want to eliminate the "comment overlay" when veiwing photos in the cloud?

In IOS7, when I view photos that are stored in a shared file in the cloud, a soft edged overlay appears with "like", "Posted date" and "Add comment". In the horizontal mode, this overlay and soft edge covers up the bottom third of the photo.It really ruins the normal veiwing experience. How can I turn this off?

I want to eliminate the time between songs in a movie I a created. Even though they "but up" visually, there is a gap between the ending of one song and the start of the next.

The easiest way to do this is to drag the songs in and drop them on the frame of video where you want then to start. The song will appear as a ribbon below the video clips rather than as a solid color in the background. You can drag this ribbon to the left or right. So if you have 2 songs, you can drag the second song to the left so that it overlaps with the end of the first song.
Here is a good video tutorial for how audio works in iMovie.
The method I am referring to is used for sound effects in the tutorial, but it works equally well for music.

You cannot import contacts from your Nano to your PC via iTunes. The syncing process is only one way. However, if you enable disk mode on your iPod, open it up in a Windows Explorer window, you should see a Contacts folder. From there you can copy them back over to your PC.
Even though this article is talking about adding contacts to the PC, it should walk you through some of the steps mentioned above.

We are sorry but you would not be able to update from Creative Suite 4 .The reason being there are no updates available for Acrobat version 9 .It is quite an older version so you are unfortunately not eligible for any updates or upgrade .
The best option for you would be to opt for Acrobat DC .

Well, the web site building we can get out of the way rather easily: You cannot build websites with any Photoshop related applications. Adobe has other applications for that.
You can still buy the full version of Photoshop CS6 with a perpetual license—no monthly payments and you own it. $700 for the standard version, $1,000 for the extended version.
The Photographer's deal gives you a subscription to both Photoshop and Lightroom for $10 per month, but you never get to own the software. The moment you stop paying, the software ceases to work.
The Cloud thing is not really on-line. It resides on your computer. It only has to call the mother ship once a month or so.
Then there's the bargain-basement priced, emasculated Photoshop Elements, with some hand-holding features.
I'm a septuagenarian too, but then I've been using computers for decades, Photoshop seriously for over twelve years. Photoshop is a professional level application that makes no apologies for its very long and steep learning curve.
Depending on exactly how much editing you need to do to those products shots, you may be satisfied with Ps Elements mentioned above.
There are trial versions for all of the above.

iCloud only "syncs" data in the iCloud account, not data in other external accounts such as Gmail, Yahoo, etc. If your email, contacts and calendars are hosted by another external account, such as Gmail/Google, you may want to not sync this data using iCloud as you would have import it all to the iCloud account in order to do so. Instead, add your external account to your iOS devices and in Settings>Mail,Conacts,Calendars>Add Account and turn on contacts and calendar syncing with your external account.

What if I don't want to use the cloud to sync?

No, I don't sync via iTunes any more, but the option is clearly still there, with a warning about what might happen if I turn it on.

This process included syncing my Notes between all of these systems.

Phone wont rotate when veiwing photos?

any ideas why when viewing my photos or texting the screen doesn't rotate automatically? i haven't changed any settings or recently even linked the phone up to my pc, any help would be appreciated.

Make sure you don't have the portrait lock on. Double-tap the home button, swipe the icons on the bottom to the right, tap the silver button with the arrow on the far left. This unlocks/locks the screen in portrait orientation.

I want podcasts on my phone, not in the cloud

I download podcasts to my mac, and then sync my iPhone. I decide which podcasts i want on my phone, and click the 'sync podcasts' button and 'automatically include1 least recent unplayed episode of selected podcasts'. then I sync.
but..
i get on the tube and when i try to play a podcast, its not there. Instead there's the cloud symbol, presumably meaning it's not on my phone, it's in the cloud and I can download and listen to it by connecting to a network / wifi etc.
But i'm on the tube. No network.
I must have something set up wrong, but can't work out what it is. Can someone tell me how to make sure podcasts are never in the cloud please? I don't want them in the cloud, it's no use to me!

Podcasts have never worked very well for me, and even with the new app, they seem to be as naff as ever when it comes to file management!
