I want to erase a site, but it won't go away!
i have like 10 sites in my idisk folder in the sites folder, but in iweb i have only 4 sites. is it impossible to erase those other sites from the web?

Please confirm for me....on your iDisk...are you looking in the "Sites" folder at the top level of your iDisk? This is the "Homepages" webspace. Or are you looking at the iDisk/Web/Sites/iWeb/ folder where your iWeb sites should be?
If you are indeed looking at your iWeb sites (and not your Homepages sites) then maybe iWeb has lost track of those sites. Perhaps a "Publish All to .Mac" would help to realign iWeb's inventory of your sites.
If however you are looking at sites in your Homepages webspace, then these sites are probably old ones that you made through iPhoto or the online Homepages design page. You can delete these by logging on to your .Mac Homepages page and selecting and deleting your sites there. iWeb does not and cannot manage these sites and vice versa.

I think your Voice mailbox goes by time, not # messages, so if one or two of the messages is longer, then it would be "full" faster.
Go to youmail.com and follow the directions to set up youmail.
Just curious - why do you need to save 20+ messages? Once I deal with them, I delete them.... and I rarely have more than one or two \saved messages.... -

When I turn on my iPad the grey 'brightness slider' is in the centre of the screen and I can't get rid of it. I've tried switching on / off 'auto-brightness' in 'settings' but it won't go away. What am I doing wrong? Any advice gratefully received.
That folder with the question mark icon means that the MacBook can't find the boot directory. That can either mean it can't find the hard drive or the Operating System data on the hard drive is somehow corrupted.
Put your install DVD into the optical drive (CD/DVD drive) and reboot. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option key until the Install Disk shows up). That will force your MacBook to boot from the install DVD in the optical drive.
When it does start up, you'll see a panel asking you to choose your language. Choose your language and press the Return key on your keyboard once. It will then present you with an Installation window. Completely ignore this window and click on Utilities in the top menu and scroll down to Disk Utility and click it. When it comes up is your Hard Drive in the list on the left?
If it is then click on the Mac OS partition of your hard drive in the left hand list. Then select the First Aid Tab and run Repair Disk. The Repair Disk button won't be available until you've clicked on the Mac OS partition on your hard drive. If that repairs any problems run it again until the green OK appears and then run Repair Permissions.
If your hard drive isn’t recognized in Disk Utility then your hard drive is probably dead. -
I want to erase a site so that it isn't the first thing that comes up when I type into the url line
Every time I type into the URL a specific site is the first thing up. I would like to erase this site. I have tried clearing the history, doesn't do any good. I visit google 20 times a day but still this site is first everytime I start to type "g". How do I :
1) erase my preferences on the url line that pop up
2) better yet how do I get rid of the one offender from the list that pops up.If that site has a star at the far right then it is a bookmark and you need to remove that bookmark by clicking the star and click the remove button. If the entry is not a bookmark then highlight the entry in the drop down list and press the Delete key.

Else "All"It sounds like this parameter used to be in a stored procedure. I see you removed the reference to it in your procedure which is good. I think to make it disappear you could reset the data connection to a brand new one. If you are using ODBC give the DSN a different name. If you are using a native driver use a different driver like OLE DB or ODBC. Then reset the connection back to the original data source in the report. I think this will force the report to recognize it needs to update the connection information.
If the problem still exists, I recommend creating a copy of this report and removing half the items. If you get the parameter still, remove half of the remaining items. Keep doing this till the parameter goes away. Once the parameter is gone undo the changes until you find the item that is causing this.
I think you're best bet is to start with resetting the data connection and running it first before setting it back to the original. -

Instld. Moz. update; can get to site, but password won't work now
I loaded Mozilla update 10. My home page got changed. I fixed that. Now when I go to my bank website, it doesn't recognize my password and I can't get in. I checked add-ons; all are enabled that should be. I cleared history before; what is going on?? How do I get back into my bank? When I called the bank, they get into the site from the same page I'm using by putting in my password; the same page on my computer tells me that the password is not valid??? Did you cause the screen to be broken? Or are you saying that it failed under warranty?
If it's still under warranty, and you didn't damage it, then they should replace it. They can plug it in to get the SN and look it up. It has a 1-year warranty.
