Hello Skype..
I need help on getting a new different online number. I already have an online number 
but I want to change it to a different state number. What will I do?

You won't be able to change your existing Online Number to one in a different area or country, but you could purchase a new number in the area and/or country you want.  One way is to log into your account on the Skype web site (using the "Account" link above), then go to Online Numbers.  You will see a link to purchase another number, and see your existing number(s) with the date that each number expires.  You can have up to 10 Online Numbers. 
If the first number is no longer needed, you don't have to do anything with it.  It will expire, and then after the 90-day grace period where you can reclaim the number, it will drop off your account.

    I'm glad you took a moment to read through the legal stuff, and found that point.  Skype does claim ownership over the Online Numbers it offers.  In practice, for most countries, there should be no need to worry about Skype making changes to your number. 
    It is possible that the number could be changed in the future, if something in the country or area where your number is changes - i.e., changes in area/city codes.  If the changes are imposed upon Skype by its partner providing the Online Number in that country, or by local/national regulations in that area, Skype would have no choice but to make changes to numbers.  In the past, numbers have been cancelled when Skype and the local company providing the Online Number service to Skype have ended their business relationship.  This could happen again in the future for numbers in other countries.  Anything is possible, but how likely this is may be minimal.

    I want to get my skype online indian phone number but I am not able to find out India in available countries list. Is this service not for India. My family is in India I want to provide them my local Indian number so that they can get in touch with me if I am out of country since they don't use skype.

    in order to get a French online number is a proof of residence required in any case (individual vs Skype manager)?
    I have an Italian Skype Manager and would like to set up a French online number. Do I need a proof of Residence in France? If yes, is a proof of residence in France enough or it must be in the area I would like to set up the number in (ex. Paris number)?

    Exactly what version of LR are you running, the LR on the CD, or a downloaded copy? If downloaded, are you sure it is LR5, and not the Creative Cloud version? Where did you purchase this version of LR 5?

    Once a number runs past the 90 day timeframe during which it was held in reserve on your Skype account awaiting reactivation, the number is returned to the "pool" of available numbers from which other Skype users could choose their new Skype Number.  "Your" former number was chosen by someone else, and once in active use, could not be recovered for use by you.  This explains why you can not find "your" old number.
    You could keep checking back periodically to see if the person who started their own Skype Number subscription did so for a short subscription term, in case "your" old number becomes available again.

    If you can satisfy the requirements for a French Online Number, yes - you can purchase an Online Number.  Skype's partner for Online Numbers in France performs a verification process using your name and address before Skype issues you the French Online Number.  You have to be a resident of metropolitan France to get that number.
    For forwarding calls to a French landline, you would also need to either keep Skype Credit on your account to cover those forwarded calls, or purchase a subscription that covers the cost of calls to French landlines.

    Unfortunately Skype cannot offer the Online # facility in Canada unless and until the relevant Canadian authorities issue the required licenses.

  • A few Online Number Questions

    First of all, I live in Canada and it doesn't appear that I can get a Canadian online number.  Any idea when that will become available?
    Also, is there any way to change the Call Display feature to display not only a business name, but also a number that is DIFFERENT than the online number.  As I cannot get a Canadian online number, I would need the call display to read my business name, and then the local Canadian phone number that I would like people to call (so they avoid long distance charges).
    Any help you could provide would be apprecaited.

    Online Numbers have expiration dates, which can be seen in the Skype programs, apps, and by logging into your account on the Skype web site (use the "Account" link at the top of this page).  Unlike the subscriptions for calling phones, Online Numbers don't appear to renew automatically.  You can have a subscription that renews automatically, which sounds like what happened to you. Subscriptions and Online Numbers are not tied together, except in one small way - certain Online Numbers can be used as Caller ID when calling telephones from Skype.  Other than that, there's no link between the two.
    The only way you can get that number back is if it is shown as available when attempting to purchase a number.  You'd have to select the country, state/province, and city/area code.  Then you can attempt to search for the number you previously had.  It is possible that the number has been reassigned, or is not available for some other reason, if it has been more than 90 days since it expired.

    If, during an application page view, you would like to reference the page ID, use the bind variable :APP_PAGE_ID, the function call v('APP_PAGE_ID'), or the substitution string &APP_PAGE_ID., the use of each being particularly suited for different contexts as explained in the documentation.
    The page title can be obtained by querying the publicly accessible view apex_application_pages, qualifying such query with the application ID and page ID.
    Also, if you avoid non-standard punctuation, I believe your meaning will be more effectively conveyed.

    If you want to get a different theme for new users, based on my understanding, it’s not easy, we can load the specific theme for all user because we can control OS to load this specific theme file.
    The default location of theme file is:
    C:\Windows\Resources\Themes
    To configure OS load different theme for different user, I think this cannot be controlled by a registry key. It’s complicated to make OS choose different theme pack for different user, even more, the theme pack files are limited.
