I want to go back to 9.0.2 but how do I do that?

I have an Old Macbook (pre April 2010) and the other day I installed the iMovie 9.0.4 update through the Mac App store (I was using and very happy with iMovie 9.0.2) but now I have also installed Lion and everything else is working like a dream but when I go to record for my youtube channel using iMovie the video and audio are out of sync. I selected the button for face stablization it took more than 1 hour to go through the entire 15 minute video to stabilze, then 2+ hours preparing project and then another 2+ hours to upload to youtube. I uploaded to youtube and still the video and audio are out of sync in a few places and this has been going on since the install of Lion. It doesn't matter what I do (I have not changed any of my recording practices) except selecting the stablization button to see if that would fix the problem but I cannot get the same quality of video I was making with 9.0.2 therefore I want to go back to that version but I don't know how do it.
Can someone please let me know how I can go back to the previous version of iMovie 9.0.2 from currently using 9.0.4?
I think the latest version is either buggy or it doesn't like my computer (my computer may not be fast enough) or something.
It's really doing my head in I need to get this sorted asap.

Hi There, Can you tell me exactly what kind of video you are using? Are you shooting the video yourself from the built-in camera? If so, are you using iMovie to capture it, or QTPlayer?
In any event, one thing to try is to optimize the video. Select all of the video in either your event or proejct, then choose Filer-->Optimize Video-->Full. That tends to take care of the odd sync problems.
Let me know how it works.

Snow Leopard breaks quite a few drivers - my Canon exhibited the same problem.
I eventually found updated drivers on the Canon website. You can try that with the HP, but if the all-in-one is more than a year or so old, don't hold your breath.
You can also try Software Update to see if it will offer new drivers, or failing that go to the Support Downloads site and search for HP updates.
In fact there's a new one for HP at the top of the list just now.
You may not necessarily want the latest one, though - check the specs to see if your model is covered; if not, search for the previous update etc.

I updated my Firefox to 5.0 and now my Kaspersky Password plug-in no longer works. Spoke with them and they do not have a compatible update yet, so I want to go back to Firefox 4.0. How do I do that?

I love the Kaspersky Pure Password program and us it constantly! After updating my Firefox browser from 4.0 to 5.0... I found that the plug-in for my password program no longer worked!

Due to security vulnerabilities, rolling back to Firefox 4.0.1 is not recommended. Firefox 3.6.18 would be the safer choice.
Here's the process to roll back:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
Close Firefox 5.
You could install Firefox 3.6 over it (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.
Note: I haven't actually tried this myself!

You might just have to contact Apple and ask them to remove it (losing it). Usually people clear a balance by buying one song and having the exact remainder charged to their credit card, but if you don't have a US credit card you cannot do that.

I didn't understand the option to Inherit or start a new back up, and therefore selected the option to create a new backup. I believe I should have selected to Inherit backup history so that when i back it up on the new MackBook Air, it appears the same as the one I'm returning.... Is there anyway that i can re-select the option to Inherit backup history for time machine?

I recently just downloaded the 'Waze' app as a backup for my Garmin. I've read a few reviews that seem to rant and rave about how good the GPS app is. It is community driven and maps are constantly being updated by users. Plus it has a few other fun stuff in it (something similar to Gasbuddy where you can owe prices on the map). But like the person above me said, there is lots of useful free GPS apps in the App Store.
Oh and I may be wrong but I remember reading an article about Google being slower about updating its maps system--ie no turn by turn voice, which many people have had complaints about.

Currently, Adobe Reader for Android does not provide an option to disable auto-save.
In the Reader home screen (where your files are displayed), you can make a copy of the original PDF document, open the copy (instead of opening the original document), make changes to the copy. Once you email the copy, you can delete it.
For more information, please see Help > How To... > Copy, edit, delete, manage.
Although it is not the most convenient way to accomplish the task, that's the only feasible workaround that is available in Adobe Reader for Android right now.

Think the iTunes artwork playlist is for a new screensave they put in where if you click the album artwork it plays the song.

When I purchase ITunes music, and it is a song from a Greatest Hits album, the Year of the song shows the year the CD was released and not the year the song was released (i.e. a song may be from 1986, but the Greatest Hits album was released in 1999, so my songs in ITunes show 1999). So, I go into each of those songs and change it to the year that I want to be displayed. As long as I don't exit out of ITunes, it will show the year that I changed it to (i.e. the 1986 year in this case). But if I exit out of ITunes and then return to ITunes, the year reverts back to 1999. The same happens if I change the genre of a song from, say 'Pop' to 'Alternative', it will revert back the next time I log in.
Oddly enough, as soon as I right-click on that song to change it back, the year/genre that I had entered returns.
How can I make it so my changes are permanently displayed as I want them? This is pretty annoying when I try to find a song on my Ipod under a certain genre, but it doesn't appear in that genre because the incorrect information gets synched to the Ipod.

Make sure that these two options in Edit > Preferences > Store are turned off:

You can also process your Raw with a 3rd Party app like ACR or Photoshop. But iPhoto does not handle this gracefully and it's a bit of a kludge.
First off set your preferred app as an external editor in iPhoto:
Next: In the iPhoto Preferences -> Advanced, elect to use Raw with your External editor:
Now when you go to edit the Raw it will be sent to your external editor.
Now for the kludge:
You cannot save a Raw. The work you do must be output to a new file, in a new format (jepg, tiff, whatever). However, as the External Editor is making this new file iPhoto has no knowledge of its existence. Therefore you must save it to the desktop and then import it back to iPhoto as a new file.
This means that you will have your Original Raw and the processed version in iPhoto but they will not be recognised as version and original. iPhoto will see them as two separate shots.
