I just got my macbook back from servicing, the hard drive was replaced.
so - i plug in my ipod, it wont work because itunes needs updating. i installed the update, but apparently this version is too high? i only have 10.4.8? apparently i need 10.4.9 for it to run?
So, how can i download an earlier version of itunes to get back to where i was before? i assume i had 7.4 something.

and why would you not upgrade to 10.4.9? actual Tiger version is now 10.4.11 and you will need iTunes 7.6 in order to be able to purchase music.

To do this in iMovie 11. use the SHARE menu. Share your project using the Share menu and choose Export Using QuickTime.
In the Dialog box that comes up, choose Sound to AIFF, or one of the other sound options. This will create a file that you can drag into iTubes.

I dont like this new version. Things pop up when they are not supposed to (and yes I have checked all the items on "tools" that I want or unchecked those I dont) and all my cut copy paste etc etc buttons are nowhere to be found even though I "add " them to the tool bar, still nothing. I cant function like this and want to go back to the old version, but I keep being redirected to the new one Help !

I was prompted by Firefox to update my adobe flash player on 12/23/11, which I did. Ever since then the web site has frozen and/or crashed. I run a internet business and can't have this continue. I uninstalled the flash player and the problems have stopped. I would like to reinstall the earlier version of adobe, since that didn't seem to impact the web site.

I use Zoom Text as I am visually impaired and it is not compatable with Firefox 4. I need to go back to the earlier version of Firefox until this is handled by Zoom Text. How do I do that? Thanks, David

I asked Zoom Text about this and this is what they had to say.

I am running the latest version of Zoom Text abnd the latest version of Firefox. I have done the "fix" suggested here but it had short lived relief if any. My preferred solution is to go back to running Firefox 3 until Zoom Text works around your new software updates.
Hint: You would make a whole lot of visually impaired folks on this planet real happy if you got together with the Zoom Text people and worked this out in a lickity-split fashion.

In most cases you can simply "upgrade" (meaning downgrade) directly from the installation. It would be a good idea to save your passwords & bookmarks just to be on the safe side.

Each time I go on any websites, there is always double stacked writing either on the left or right side of my screen. Also, lots of other items have been disabled because of firefox 7 (like Adobe reader etc) and because of those being disabled, i can not play games online anymore. I did not want firefox7 because i was quite happy with the older version, but I have no clue as to how to change it back and how to stop from getting alerts about newer versions of firefox every other day. It is rather annoying.

If you have Yosemite you need iphoto 9.6 from the App store - what is the exact error message you are getting?
Try dragging the iphoto Application to the trash from your applications folder (wait tot empty the trash) and then install iPhoto 9.6 from the App store

How can i get rid of Beta and go back to the earlier version?

Where is the link/command to uninstall the beta version i agreed to try a few weeks ago?
Among other issues:
i can't read the pale-on-pale buttons and tabs;
crashes regularly;

That sounds like the difference between the new Firefox home page '''about:home''' and the previous Google Search page which has '''GMail''' at the top if you used GMail.
You can change your home page so that it points to what you had before, which It would be something like:

How do I go back to Photoshop CC ? After 2014 downloaded, and the panals were gone, I want to go back to the CC version.. All of my extensions are on CC..

Please tell me how to revert to the previous version of Photoshop and the programs that went with it ?? The default in Windows Explorer is the 2014 version , with no option for CC at all. I can't even change it on the default extension on windows. I would also like the extension manager that went with it, please. I also don't want to LOSE any extensions that might have been brought forward from CC to 2014.

On file types, it has to be on the advanced drop down menu to put it on the "open with" box. If it isn't listed on the bottom (actually I think it only icons) then you have to click Browse. I have done it before on a small program--went to the ".exe" file of that program and clicked on that file. .I looked around in PS CC, but it was mostly .dll's .. and the whole program is so big--I just couldn't find it.
I haven't looked again since that day. I ran across a utility program which helped you change the "Open with" --but obviously didn't download it. I know how to use that default screen of file endings--it just wouldn't pick up the CC. There is probably a way to do it, I just don't know it.
