I want to go back to using IOS6 on my itunes instead of IOS7 how do I re-install IOS6?

I don't like the setup of IOS7 for itunes, it seperates all my songs into different albums when they are from the same album just with different artists like a movie soundtrack, Is there a way to get around this in IOS7, if not how do I reinstall IOS6?

When you connect your phone and start iTunes on the left side you will see your phone listed under devices.Click on te icon next to it that looks like a battery. Click on the music button at the top and uncheck the sync music box.

Media and contacts are NOT part of the iPhone backup. Media should already be in your iTunes library and contacts should be in whatever address book or cloud service you were syncing them to. Just re-sync them to the phone.

If you are going to sell your MBP, you should install the OS that it came with. I suspect that would be Snow Leopard in your case. Insert the original Install disk and when you get to the step where you see the menu bar on top, click on Utilities. From the drop down menu select Disk Utility>Erase and erase the HDD. Then continue the install until it is completed.

My old desktop PC has been used to sync and back-up my iPhone4.
However, when I installed itunes on the new laptop and tried to sync the iphone I got the message
"iPhone can only be synced with one iTunes library"
How can designate my new laptop as the one wheer I can sync and back-up my iPhone?
Old PC: Windows XP
New PC: Windows 7
Can somebody please send me step by step guide as im a novice with PC/iTunes

It will clear the phone. You need to restore the backup you made of your important files from the old computer (surely no one in the third millennium who uses a computer does not back it up regularly).
You can recover iTunes-purchased music, videos and apps from the phone, but not music from other sources. Connect the phone, do not sync, and choose "Transfer Purchases" from the File menu.
Photos in the Camera Roll can be transferred buy using the Camera Wizard on your computer.
Contacts and Calendar can be synced with apps on your computer; just make sure there is at least one entry in each app on the computer before syncing.
You are out of luck if you have photos in the Photo app on the phone; there are apps for your computer that can extract them, but they will be lower resolution than originals because they have been optimized for the iPhone's resolution.

There's no "ilife 11" to delete. Just trash the various apps.
Then re-install 08.
However... Have you kept 08 versions of the iPhoto Library? If not, then you will have a problem. 08 cannot open an 11 Library. This problem may also extend to the other apps too.

Also, be aware of the following:
The "Find my..." function is pretty much useless if the device is in the hands of a thief. All that is necessary is for the thief to connect to any computer with iTunes and "Restore as new."
The only real protection you have is with the personal information on the device rather than the physical device itself. Something as small as an iPod/iPhone should have a strong 8-digit (or longer) password AND be configured for automatic wipe in the event of ten consecutive incorrect password entries.

Hello all,
I can't open a PP project without this error message appearing:
"The preset used by one or more sequences in this project requires third-party components that could not be located. These sequences will be modified to use a custom sequence setting instead. To continue editing using the original preset, quit the application without saving the project, reinstall any third-party components that are required and reopen the project".
What I had been doing before this occurred was editing a PP project using ProRes sequences and multi-camera editing. Multi-camera was not working very well and after a few attempts to fix that I gave up and finished the job cutting 3 layers of video instead. AME refused to render the three finished sequences of over 1hr duration so rendered final videos from the PP sequences.
I tried deleting plists for AME, PP and QT, repairing disc permissions and rebooting but there was no improvement.
Client is satisfied for now but will want to come back to this job at a later date so decided to uninstall and re-install AME and PP in the hope both would be ready to work properly when needed again. AME works fine in conjunction with a different PP project but now I can't open the PP project in question without the above error message appearing.
Having searched the net it would seem that the problem may be caused by ProRes but I haven't been able to find a definitive solution for the problem. Does anyone know either:
1. How to fix this?
2. If I chose the "modified using a custom sequence setting", can I be sure that my sequences will look the same even if they don't use ProRes? The final deliverable format will be mp4 so as long as the overall look doesn't change then I can afford a change in the edit codec. It's just that with three sequences over an hour long, I don't want days of work to be ruined.
Other older PP projects of mine open and work fine.

Open the PP project.
Export your sequence or project as a Final Cut Pro XML file.
Set up a new PP project.
Import the Final Cut Pro XML file.
This will get you back up an running.
Since getting back to editing this project I have found that some things will be lost or change in using XML:
You will lose position key framing, black video clips, dissolve fx, audio levels, audio dynamic fx, the ability to open a multi camera clip and change the camera view.
You will keep cut points, crop fx.
Not perfect but only took a couple of hours to save 3 days work.

iOS7 crashes my iPhone 4S frequently with no pattern. I can not use my phone normally, and missed several important calls.

Other has beeen a problem for quite a while but I never had to resort to restoring the phone every two to three weeks. At this point "Other" is just the tip of the bug iceberg.
Music videos loaded on the iPhone would randomly show up with the iCloud icon indicating that they were no longer on the phone even though they were. The cloud icon would appear next to many of the videos, and would randomly change to other videos upon closing and reopening the Videos app.
All the videos played fine in airplane mode so I know they were all actually on the phone and not streaming.
Opening the iPhone’s music library in iTunes would show many songs marked with a circle comprised of a dotted line to the left of the name indicating that (according to the Apple senior advisor I was speaking with at the time) the songs had not synced properly. Again, they played fine with Airplane mode enabled so the info was wrong.
Most recently, while I was keeping an eye on “Other”, I noticed I had 2.8 GB of “Other” in use and 6.5 GB free. I deleted an audio book and replaced it with another and did a Sync. Well, “Other” and “Books” (print, not audio, totaling about ~350 MB) vanished and I had over 19 GB free. As I hovered the pointer over “Audio”, “Video”, “Apps”, "Photos”, “Documents & Data” and “Free”, I added all the memory used per section and the total was about 67.5 GB. Pretty neat for a 64 GB phone. Needless to say I was very pleased to have been in a screen sharing session with Apple tech support when that happened.
I’ve also found one movie and three TV shows in the videos app that weren’t selected to sync to the phone. Incidentally, deleting them showed that they were stored in “Other”, not “Videos” at that time.
Then there’s random App crashes and the once or twice the phone restarted on its own. With Sync this iPhone over WiFi checked, it’s been a crapshoot if the iPhone would appear under Devices if the iPhone wasn’t connected by cable. Sometimes yes, sometimes no, no discernible pattern could be ascertained.
Naturally I tried *EVERY* troubleshooting step suggested by the Apple techs.
So I have very high hopes for iOS 7.1. I’ve been using iOS since the original version and iOS 7 is the buggiest version and the first version that required a full restore every two to three weeks as part of regular maintenance. It’s gotten on my nerves and I hope that at least some of the problems have been addressed.

No, you should not. There are problems trying to go the other way, but updating a newer iOS release from a backup of an older iOS release has always been supported and is the basic means of setting up a new device from a previous one.
