I want to go from 10.4 to 10.5, how can i do this?
I know this has been asked before but all I have been able to find is going from 10.4.11 on PowerMacs and other such older models. Some have just given me the short answer and gone with "just get a new computer and you'll get Lion." I do understand this but I currently dont have the funds to support buying a new Mac. So my question remains.... Is it possible for me to go to 10.5? I have a MacBook from 2007 and it has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 2 GB of memory and my processor speed is 2 GHz. All advice is welcome... Even just telling me to splurge and get a new Mac. Thanks to all of you in advance!
A retail 10.5 Leopard disk will run you around $200
You can upgrade from 10.4 to 10.6 with no problems. Any program that runs under 10.4 should run under10.6. See this list for compatibility with 10.6: http://snowleopard.wikidot.com/ You might have to upgrade some drivers for printers, etc.... To upgrade your iLife and iWork. If you only want iPhoto or other single apps from iLife '11 you can get them from the App Store after you've upgraded to 10.6.6. iPhoto, iMovie or Garage Band for $15 each and Pages, Keynote or Numbers from iWork '09 for $20 each.
Once you are at 10.6.8 you can buy Lion for $29 from the App Store if you have at least a model 2,1 MacBook. Lion will require at least 2gb of RAM but really needs 4gb to run smoothly. As for third party programs see this list for compatibility with 10.7 http://roaringapps.com/apps:table
Also Lion doesn't run any Power PC programs. To see if you have any Power PC programs go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up select Applications under Software. Then look under Kind to see if any of your applications are listed as Power PC. Universal and Intel will run under Lion.
Before Mac switched to Intel processors they used Power PC processors from 1994 to 2005. Power PC 601 through 604, G3, G4 and G5. Applications written for the Power PC processors need the application called Rosetta to run on Intel processors. This was part of the Operating System in 10.4 and 10.5 but was an optional install in 10.6. With 10.7 Lion Apple dropped all support for Power PC applications.

Topic: Microsoft's Silverlight for Mac. I wanted to video stream a movie via Verizon FIOS. It demanded Silverlight.dmg. Macbok Pro refused to download from 3rd party supplier (CNET). How can I get this from Apple? The Verizon FIOS video website was churning on the error message, "Checking device registration status." It got stuck in a loop. Verizon tech support never came on. Was on terminal "Hold." Any recommendations?
Never download anything from CNET. The site is untrustworthy and is known to distribute Windows spyware intentionally.

Transfer the app into iTunes on your computer and then sync the app to the iPad. If you have never synced with iTunes before, it will be a little more complicated that that, but you can still do it if you follow the instructions in the user tip below.
If you are already syncing with iTune, it will be very simple and easy to do.

How can I share two differents Itunes accounts in my Apple TV ? I have one and my wife has another account and we want to share both in our apple tv. How can I do this ???
I assume you have different iTunes collections on different PC's, or on different logins on the same PC? If that's the case then just enable "Home Sharing" in each iTunes using the SAME iTunes username and password as you enabled home sharing on the Apple TV with. The account used for home sharing is NOT the same as the account used to access the iTunes store, so as long as you use the same account (pick one, doesn't matter which) then you should see both of yor iTunes libraries on the Apple TV. Note - each iTunes has ti be running in order for the Apple TV to see the library.

iTunes and iCloud are different accounts. You can both use the same ID for the store login and share your music etc., and use different ID's to log in to iCloud, thereby keeping your calendars etc separate. -

iCloud storage is not allocated by device. iCloud storage is allocated to your iCloud AppleID. You get 5GB of iCloud storage.

I have upgraded my macbook pro to Lion, using Icloud if take a photo on my Iphone this syncs to my mac however my video does not synce wirelessly from my iphone to macbook. How can I get this to do it.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Connect the external drive and open a Finder window pressing the Finder icon in Dock. Then, drag the folder to Finder, so it will be copied to this external disk.
If you can't copy this folder, probably you have to format the external disk or use an app that allows you to write in that external drive. Mac OS X can't write in NTFS external disks -
