The first e-mail will contain a verification code which must be entered into the second e-mail while the first e-mail is still open.

If those emails are from different accounts then open a second Private Browsing mode window and resize both windows to make them fit next to each other if you really need to see them at the same time (it shouldn't be a problem to paste content from one tab to another tab, just hover on the tab or use "command + ~" to switch windows).
That will allow you to login to a separate windows account.

Authorize the computer for the account.
Content is permanently tied to the account it was acquired wtih.

Multiple FireFox browser windows opened simultaneously do not have the same settings for many of the functions.

Secondary browser windows open at the same time do not have the same functions active. i.e. Back/Forward, Reload, Stop buttons and the url address does not show in the bar. I set the HOME page in the Options and it does not open with that Home Page. This never happened with any past FireFox versions.

You don't know what push means.
Push means new messages received at the incoming mail server are pushed out by the incoming mail server without the email client being used to access the account having to check the account automatically or manually which is called fetch. An account can be checked automatically without having to open the Mail app which is not push.
Manual with the Mail app on an iOS device is not the same as manual with an email client on your computer.
If you launch the Mail app, all email accounts will be checked for new messages even when manual is selected for an account. If manual is selected for an account, it should not be checked for new messages until to launch the Mail app.

I have two google mail accounts, one is work, one is home. I prefer to keep things separate. On my iPad, formerly had no problem checking each account. Now when I log into either account, my poor iPad acts like its spinning its head.

Hello All,
To anyone with the same problem described above, on THEIR iPad (if it is running iOS 7.0.2):
Go to Settings; Mail, Contacts, Calendars; DELETE your *******@btinternet.com e-mail account, that you originally set up either using 'Other', or the 'BT' option which I am sure was in the list previous to the iOS 7 update.
Then ADD a NEW account choosing YAHOO from the list of options. DO NOT USE 'OTHER'.
Enter the correct details just as you (almost certainly) had already done in your previous attempts using 'other'.
When you see the 'verifying......' and 'the blue ticks' you should be able to exit settings and open your mail app and then receive all your 'old' e-mails again, AND be able to SEND as well.
All my 'old' e-mails, were NOT found in the 'old e-mail' folder though. THEY are still in my inbox.
So this fix worked for me.
After I deleted my account from 'OTHER' and put it in Yahoo, I like other people also ended up with more folders.
I hope this works for you on YOUR Apple devices.

Hi. My wife and I share one MacBook Pro. We have one user account set up on the MacBook Pro (i.e., when we turn the computer on, we both use the same sign-on ID and password). We do not want to set up separate accounts.
With this set-up, can we each have our own Mail account? We want to be able to use Mail to access our respective gmail accounts, each of which has its own separate password. We do not want to consolidate both gmail accounts into a single Mail account. Is this possible? Thank you

This is not possible if you wish to prevent each other from seeing the other's email? If you set both email account up in Mail, they will have separate Inboxes (seen by clicking on the small black triangle to expand to show each one), and if you enter the Gmail SMTP twice, taking care each time to give it a different name, and use each account respective email address to Authenticate it, then they will coexist nicely, but not with complete privacy.
Complete privacy is only available with separate User Accounts. In one User Account the underlying files could be read even if two Mail folders were allowed.

Active window jumps beyond the active screen frame

Hi, I wonder if there is a trick to fix this:
I quite often see a window that I am trying to reposition on my screen, jumping up and left so that the upper part that can be grabbed is beyond the screen itself. This is annoying since there is no way to bring it back, or is there?
iMac Intel, OS 10.5.8, wired mighty mouse

Go to Window>Revert to Original Layout.
Trash FCP preferences.

I gather you have created a second account. You can sign in with this in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendars and check Mail there. This account will appear alongside the 'primary account' (the one signed in in System Preferences>iCloud) - however you won't get 'push' email, it will be checked periodically.

RSBBS - New transcation is NOT opened as the active window

I'm calling an R/3 transaction from a Bex query.
The problem is that the new transaction is opened in a new window which is not the active one.
The active window remains in the Bex window.
Does anyone have a clue how to give the new R/3 window focus and make it the active one ?

C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/host
open host file in notepad and
add your server IP, name & Fully Qualified Domain Name like abc.xyz.com
then save it.
