I want to install Flash on a computer with no internet access.  How do I do this?

I want to install Flash on a computer with no internet access.  When I tried to download, I got a message that Flash is already installed.  Yes, it is, on my PC.  I want it on my laptop, too.  How do I accomplish this?

Download the Adobe Flash Player offline FULL installer directly by right clicking one of the following links and selecting "Save target as" (IE), "Save Link As" (FIrefox) or "Download Linked File As" (Safari).
Flash Player 12.0.0.44 for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player 12.0.0.44 Plug-in (All other browsers)
Flash Player 12.0.0.44 (Mac OS X)

    Hello bfarrow1,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information on this, take a look at:
Access your complete iTunes music library at any time on all of your computers and iOS devices
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2719
To download songs from your iCloud library to a computer:
In iTunes, select Music (below Library).
If a song is available for download, it has a Download button next to it. To download the song, click the Download button. You can also play a song that’s available for downloading by double-clicking it. The song downloads as it plays.
    Best of luck,
    Mario

  • Transferring library to 2nd computer with no internet access

I am trying to transfer my iTunes library to a 2nd compter (Media Center) in another room. The purchased music won't play because of authorization issues. Since my second computer is not internet linked, how do I authorize it for play?

i "Doing it once has no effect thiat I can hear."
Most likely it is a case of your audio sensitivity and depth of listening - not a technical issue. The audio quality loss is a matter of fact due to re-sampling loss. Consider yourself 'lucky' that you do not (or cannot) notice the difference.
I find the typical AAC/128 format fairly thin to begin with - especially when compared to the higher bit rate &/or Lossless formats. Transcoding a 128kbps file is very noticeable to me.
As the technology of the iPods, headphones and encoding improves, more people may start to notice the 'limitations' of the lower bit rate formats.

  • VS2013 on a computer with sporadic internet access

I was able to acquire a copy of VS2013 Ultimate with an associated product key from my institution's Dreamspark store. I'd like to be able to use this copy of VS on a windows computer, which is deployed somewhere I can't guarantee will have internet access
very often (on the order of months of time in between internet access). Once the product key is applied to a VS2013 Ultimate install, does it need an internet connection afterwards for a DRM check? How often?

    Hi lxd4,
Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.
As you said that you want to a copy of VS2013 Ultimate with an associated product key from my institution's Dreamspark store and then use this copy o VS on a windows computer.
Since it is related to the Dreamspark, so I suggest you could try to consult this issue directly to the Dreamspark official:https://www.dreamspark.com/Support/FAQ/Default.aspx , you will
    get better support.
    Thanks for your understanding.

  • Temporarily disable Digital Signature Checks to Install MS SQL Server 2008 with no Internet Access

I am attempting to install a licensed copy of MS SQL Server 2008 in a Private Enclave that does NOT have Internet access on a Win2008 R2 SP1 server (that is VM - thus I can't reboot and press F8 to select "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement"
). The installation fails with an error of the vc_red.cab file being found either corrupt or a bad digital signature.  The file is good, but the signature has an expiration of 2011.   I understand that a DOTNET SDK v1.1 program called setreg.exe
will enable disabling the digital signature check, but I am not permitted to use that program.
I might be permitted to use the "Signtool.exe" utility, but it is not clear what command sequences are necessary to disable and then re-enable the Digital Signature checks.
I saw a thread that recommended using the command:
    bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks ON
However, the comments indicated that this might not have worked.
Are there Registry settings I can use with regedit to make the necessary changes to be able to install the application?  I anticipate running into this problem with other software when I do not have Internet connectivity.   I already tried
downloading the Microsoft CRL files; updated the lists on the Server; and rebooted.  This did not solve my problem.

    Hi,
As far as I know, it is not recommended to disable digital signature check.
Since we are not familair with installing MS SQL server, please also refer to SQL forums below to see if experts there have more insights regarding the matter.

  • How can I install Reader on a computer with no internet?

I have an old Dell laptop with XP on it. It can not hook up to the internet. I want to put Reader on it so I can use the laptop to open shop manuals I have that are Adobe (PDF) files. I've tried several times to download different versions of reader (on my new computer which I then put on a thumb drive) and it tries to install them but eventually towards the end seeks to connect to the internet to look for updates or whatever. There must be a way to download a copy of reader (probably an older version like 9) on my new laptop so I can copy the file to the old laptop and install it without the program needing to go to the internet for something. HOW???

Thank you Claudio. I tried your suggestion. It did not work. Here is what happens: once I double click on the saved (on a thumb drive), downloaded file (reader 9.5.0) it starts to install. When it gets to the end, a window opens that says "downloading MSI update..." which of course it can't since that computer will NOT connect to the internet (this is an old Dell 600 with XP unknown service pack on it). Then I get the error window: "Adobe bootstrapper for single installation has encountered a problem and needs to close" which stops the installation. Then another window with "error code 150210". This is what happens every time with every downloaded version of Adobe reader I've tried. Any other suggestions? Thanks a bunch.

  • Is it possible to download firefox onto a jumpdrive so i can install it on a computer with no internet connectivity?

Hi, after the auto update ruined my internet explorer in windows, I am unable to open any kind of browser window, I cannot get to the Internet Properties from my computer or the programs. I am unable to uninstall ie8 because of missing files that came from microsoft update. I still have a connection to the internet, however, with no way of getting to it...So I am wondering if it is possible to download firefox onto a jump drive and install it on my otherwise, useless, computer.

You can download Firefox 4.0.1 from here: http://www.mozilla.com/ directly to a USB drive provided there's enough space and then move it to your PC. The installation file is only 12MB

Ive bought a few songs recently and they played the first day but then when i go to play them again it say i need to Authorize the computer which is already authorized I don't understand can someone help me??

    Hello there, HelpMePlease117.
There is a good Knowledge Base article that helps resolve authorization issues you might want to look over:
iTunes repeatedly prompts to authorize computer to play iTunes Store purchases
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1389
Any one of the steps listed there should help you get to the bottom of your issue and resolve it for you.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,

  • I accidentally downloaded a website for coupons and its toolbar keeps popping up? I want to completely get rid of it on my internet. How do I do this?

I accidentally downloaded a website for coupons and its toolbar keeps popping up at the top of my internet window. I went to the toolbar options and unchecked it but when I get back into the internet it is up again. I want it completely gone so that it doesn't even have a chance to be seen. I don't want it. How do I get rid of it?

I would start off with Firefox's Add-ons page. Either:
    * Ctrl+Shift+a
    * orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then look for unwanted extensions and try the Remove button.
If the Remove button is missing, this usually means the extension was installed through the Windows installer. In that case, check for it in the Windows Control Panel, Uninstall a Program. Clicking the "Installed on" column header will bring the most recent additions to the top for easier spotting.
After you get rid of it, assuming you can remove it in one of those two ways, I suggest "mopping up" with some malware removers. This article lists tools that other Firefox users have found helpful: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]].
    Any luck?

  • I can't save files in any location on my computer with Firefox 4. How do I fix this?

Even when the program is run as an admin, it still says that I don't have permission to save in any location (even documents). I believe that this started after I updated Internet Explorer to the newest version. Downloads work fine in other browsers, but I prefer Firefox. I've tried running in Safe Mode and manually selecting Firefox.exe and running it as an administrator with no change. I reinstalled Firefox but DID preserve the profile info.

No idea considering your lack of information.
    What version of OS X?
What kind of video? Has it ever worked before?
