I want to know how to "bookmark all tabs" in FF 4 as I used it extensively in FF3
I have had problems with FF going back to the "restore" option. However it always went back to an old restore not the last set of tabs that I was in.
As a workaround I would end each session by "bookmark all tabs" and then when I restarted just "open all in tabs"
However I cannot find any way to do this in FF4, can anyone help me?
Right-click a tab to see that menu item or use '''{Ctrl + Shft + D}''' to bookmark all tabs.
Firefox 4.0 automatically saves the previous session, and the '''about:home''' Homepage has a hyperlink for '''Restore Previous Session''' or you can do that thru History. Seems to work better than it did in 3.6.

Now I have multiple folders in my external hard drive and want to know how to condense all folders into yearly folders instead. Anyone know how to do this?

I'm quite sure there is no "automatic" way to do this. I've never heard of anyone trying it either. I suppose if you wanted try it, you could simply create a new folder in the same partition TM is on, label it for that year, then gather all the days for that year and drag/drop them into the folder. I suspect (but do not know) you'd be risking the continuity of your backups, meaning TM would simply start over again, meaning that next back up would start a new series of backups, with the first one roughly equalling the entire capacity of your internal HD, instead of adding only the new data to the previous backup. Once again, I would recommend against it, unless you're fine with TM starting a new series of backups if it doesn't work out the way you want it to. Hope you'll post back with results so we can learn from it. -

Some menu entries in the main menu bar are hidden if you use the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu (Bug 626825).
You can see the difference if you use Alt+F to open the File menu or other menus like the Edit menu (Alt+E) and compare that to what you see if you use the mouse to open the menu after you have made the menu bar visible by tapping Alt or by pressing F10.

hi i just bought the macbook pro and i wanted to know how i can transfer all my music on itunes from my old desktop to my new macbook?
Derek's right. To explain his second point more, you can mount your old Mac's hard drive on your new one and once you've done this you can simply drag your music folder over.
You can mount various ways, if you have a router and both are on your LAN network I believe u use the Go menu in your new Mac to mount your old one.
You can also use a cable directly between the two. I did this years agonwith ethernet but I bet USB or even FireWire is possible.
Once you get your music copied over, you may need to add your music into your Mac's iTunes.
Open iTunes and then select Add to Library and then find your music folder to add. You can add single songs or folders of songs or your entire folder of all songs. -
'Bookmark all tabs' - I don't find this command in FF4 but FF3.6 used to have it. Where is it?
There was a 'Bookmark all tabs' command in the bookmarks pull down in earlier versions of Firefox but it's not there in FF4. Could someone tell me where it is?
You can access bookmark all tabs by right-clicking on a tab, or use the keyboard shortcut Control+Shift+D

And why it is printing the space instead of tab the first time and a tab the second time.

Ayesha.Okay, first, why are you using RandomAccessFile and writing bytes? Use a FileWriter, probably with a PrintWriter wrapped around, and just send Strings.

You can only delete them one at a time on the iPad. If you have an IMAP email account, go to your email in on the server using a web browser and select as many as you can at a time and delete them that way. That action will be reflected on the iPad. In IMAP - whatever you do on one device syncs across all devices. If you have POP email - start deleting one at a time.

Every time i go to a site or and extension of a site i use a lot it asks me if it can you adobe flash I want to know how to make it so it just allows all site to just start it. I only go to mainstream sites so its not a security issue. I have gone into the adobe settings in my control panel and allow sites to store info on my PC so any other suggestions? thank you to anyone who can help.

Thanks for the help, but i've actually done that before.
It does not help, because it only shows the photos on the camera roll and do not show the photos synchronized with that pc that i dont have access anymore.
The photos/albums all appear on the ipad, i can see it without problems but i cant get them out of the ipad to save onto pc for backup.
And i reaaly need it, as it is the only place that i actually have these photos now... -

You can restore a backup of the old device to a new one. This will erase everything on the new one before restoring, so this may be an issue if you already have data on the new device.
To do a backup of the old device, iTunes is the safest route, in my opinion. Many users have lost photos when performing a restore from an icloud backup.
An icloud backup does not include everything. For example,only photos in camera roll are backed up. Also, music is not backed up since you get it back from itunes and (for purchased music) from the itunes store.

I have a 4th gen iPod touch that won't power up! I tried all the traditional stuff. I want to know how to tell if the battery is good. itunes see's the ipod in recovery mode. Tried dfu mode and did not work. Any ideas? I can hear the PC beep when plugging it in! I suspect a bad battery and trying to charge it ina wall charger made it hot!
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
